Waffle House

Very gross. Had a particle of food stuck inside my coffee mug. The booths were dirty and the syrup container was absolutely disgusting. Ordered hash browns with sautéed onions and cheese, and it was literally a square of cheese on a hash brown and the onions were basically raw. Saw one of the employees screwing on salt and pepper caps with the palm of her hand. Just gross, do not recommend.

Came in at 7:30pm, stood by a table that needed to be cleaned for 10 minutes. There was an african american girl (I heard them say Marina I think) and a caucasian girl working the tables and an african american cook (I heard them say Quentin). The african american girl, who had no name tag on looked at us a few times and didn’t speak a word. Not even a «someone will be right with you», nothing! Another family of four walked in and she then grabbed a rag and walked over to wipe our table down and then wiped theirs down. She wasn’t very customer service oriented. She seemed to be upset about something and it showed to us customers. We’re here visiting family for a week and had planned on visiting waffle house a few times while here due to San Antonio not having one. This will be the only time we visit this waffle house due to the poor customer service we received. Also, the restroom was filthy! Not sure who’s in charge of cleaning it but it looked as if it had not been cleaned for a good week or two.

Come on you can not beat the prices! The food was good and atmosphere was family friendly. We stopped here before I went to LEGOLAND. Customer service –excellent! Will be back next time I visit Orlando!

As a veteran traveler and in WF’s, this team gave great evening service as well as a great b/​e/​c sandw.

I was in Florida for a business trip and decided to stop at the Waffle House since we don’t have them in San Diego. I ordered the waffle breakfast which csme with with a waffle, eggs, hash brown & country gravy and a country ham. The waffle was definitely the best part of the breakfast, it was very good. The country ham was salty but it was supposed to be, so I guess it was good. Everything else was good but not great. If in Florida again and in the mood for breakfast I would stop by again. Also, the staff was super nice.

Everything was great. Super fast. Decent food. Super loud for being 7am and people yelling at each other. We got waffles hash browns and sausage! Very good. Great portions. The cook must have a memory like no other because all the waitresses yelled their orders to him! Worst thing is the establishment is kinda dirty!

This is my first time at Waffle House and I absolutely loved it! I had two eggs scrambled, raisin toast, bacon, and grits. the food came out hot and fast. my friend had the biscuits and gravy and they were very, very good! The staff are incredibly friendly. Patricia was our waitress and she made sure our party of six had everything we needed. I wish we had a Waffle House in CT! Definitely a must for breakfast if you are in the area.

It was a running joke in our house that we had never been to a Waffle House together (no idea why that even became a thing), but I’m glad we finally went! I think since then we’ve gone three times because you SERIOUSLY can’t beat the price and the waffles… well, they are truly amazing!
I love breakfast at any time of the day, but breakfast for dinner is probably my favorite! This location has a very friendly staff and it’s awesome how quickly the food comes out.
You can watch them make your meal to see JUST how fast it’ll be to your table.

This Waffle House needs management change bad. Two guys that need to be door greeters at Walmart. They don’t have a clue. Simple management with fast, pleasant and customer service skills is all that WH needs. Then, our waitress tells us that she is «not on her game» today… just what I want to hear. She was pleasant with quick service just needs a fine tune into customer service skills. Perhaps if her management team were leaders she could learn from them. So sad because in general WH is good food! The food on this visit was good and the waitress made up for her comment on her game. Both managers on this visit stood at the door, looked and acted clueless. As we were leaving, with dirty tables everywhere, one manager decides to pick gum up off the drive instead of focusing on what really matters IN the dining area! Again, the waitress, Patricia was great and the food excellent — just needs to clean house.

I have been nagging my wife to stop at a Waffle House every time we travel south & today she finally said yes! Let’s just say not much has changed since my visit as a child.
Old & rundown inside. We stopped around 7pm & the service was ok, nobody was to friendly. The food was what you expect at a Waffle House. The syrup made the waffles good & the eggs were average.
The price of our meal was low & matched the quality of the food. Not sure I will be back for awhile.

Haven’t been there in years but it is great to know it is still around. We «found» this great breakfast spot not far from our hotel, but not before being greatly dissatisfied with other local eateries. My wife and I were starving after ‘walking out” of two other restaurants and even though no booths were available we headed for the «counter» and enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared and served by some of the friendliest people on earth. We returned every morning which added to the pleasure of our vacation. Wonder if «Lewis» is still cooking «Waffle on two». Thanks Waffle House… We’ll go out of our way to stop and eat next trip down.

Um, if I had one in Washington I’d totally keep coming! The cheapest yummiest waffle ever… I got the apple cinnamon… yummmmyyyy!

Davenport, FL probably has the nicest servers in their Waffle House than any of the others! Don’t go to the Waffle House if you DON“T want to be talked to. These people are friendly. They make sure your hash browns are scattered, smothered, chopped or however you want it, and did I mentioned he great service? Just a fun, quick breakfast place.

Very busy, but very efficient, this Waffle House is extraordinarily loud. They yell their orders like a New York City short-​order restaurant, putting their grubby hands all over your food.
Other than a lukewarm waffle, though, it wasn’t bad. I just would rate it awesome. Though should I really expect «awesome» from Waffle House? Probably not…
