This place is amazing. The people that work there actually take their time out to explain to you what the desserts are and which are their favorites. The shakes, teas, sandwiches, are good. I’ve become almost a regular!

I fuckin love this place. Solid banh mis and ridiculously good milk tea. I usually get the korean BBQ banh mi and green tea milk tea with boba. I think it’s like 8 bucks for both. My favorite part of the banh mi is the pickled veggies(I know, weird to enjoy a supplemental sandwich item the most but that’s how good this place is!) Don’t leave Davie, FL without trying this place out.

Surprisingly good place in the cut near Foodtown, they have amazing smoothies milk teas, banh mi sandwiches and this cool coconut jelly thing. I recently tried the steamed pork bun(banhbao)after seeing it up at the counter a few fimes and it was way better than I ever imagined I go here here most mornings for a trial breeze smoothie and a sesame sweet bread

So glad I finally got to try 545 Banh Mi! I happened to be in the area, and needed a Friday treat. Not to mention Cindy N had recommended it, and she knows authentic alright! So having glanced over the Unilocal tips I opted for the Korean BBQ beef Banh Mi and a Jasmine milk boba tea. It was around 2:30pm and they were busy. They had a good selections of ready to-go meals, food items I had no idea what they were(will need to take Cindy with me for translation!), a pretty decent menu selection including smoothies and teas, as well as a board with times of when food items would be ready to-go(I’m assuming large orders and such). I found the prices to be more than reasonable, the teas and smoothies are large and they lunch deal of Banh Mi and Boba was around $ 8. I wanted to beat the traffic heading north so I opted to-go; although there was enough seating inside, as well as out. My order was ready very fast and I took my foodie behind home. Being borderline hANGRY(south florida drivers plus the smell of my delicious Banh Mi next to me), I started munching on the way home. Noms! The beef was juicy, thinly sliced, and delish. I loved the crunchy fresh taste of the cucumber, carrots and cilantro and then the little kick of jalapeño! I devoured it. Then the perfect compliment — washed it down with my icy, milky jasmine tea. I really love that the teas are a big size and come with a sealed lid so I don’t spill it all over myself, not to mention I kind of see it as a novelty that it is sealed just for me :) but maybe I’m easily amused. Tell-tale sign of a great ethnic spot, lots of ethnic people! If Vietnamese locals think it’s a great spot, then they must be doing something right and I’ll just follow along for the noms!

Yeah… this place is the bomb!!! And my new Go To boba milk tea place in Davie. How they cook/prep the tapioca for the milk tea and smoothies are ONPOINT. chewy, fresh, and sweet! Can’t beat their summer roll with peanut dipping sauce. That stuff is BOMB diggety. Definitely one of my favorite items here or getting phở. To be honest I haven’t tried their banh mi sandwiches but I hear they are also delicious. They have an awesome banh mi combo specials too for super cheap. I highly recommend their milk teas and smoothies with tapioca(boba) as well as the summer rolls! I believe you have to spend at least $ 10 minimum for credit card charges so either order more or bring cash!

I found this restaurant by accident. In truth, I had just come from lunch elsewhere when I saw Foodtown market and knew I wanted to look around there. I parked in front of 545 and decided to pop in and look at the menu. This is a cool little place! Clean, super friendly staff eager to explain the Vietnamese street food concept. Beautiful house made baguette for Banh mi, a few other pastries(one the let us try just came out of the oven– slightly sweet sesame seed puffed bun in a half moon shape) fantastic! When I tore into it, the steam nearly burned me– but eating it piping hot was great! There are chilled desserts in the refrigerator case, boba teas and shakes made to order and several«grab and go» lunch options for anyone in a hurry. I will certainly be back for a more comprehensive experience!

I love this place! As a Vietnamese American, I have always enjoyed the comforts of Vietnamese food. At the Oriental markets, they usually sell banh mi. This place makes all the food that reminds me of my childhood. The spring rolls, the grilled steak with rice noodles, the bobba, and the of course the banh mi makes me feel connected to my Asian heritage. Everything on the menu is delicious and the service is quick and friendly.

I’ve tried the Nuoc Mia(sugarcane juice) and Banh Mi Thit Nuong. Both great flavors, though a little overpriced than what I’m used to. The drink and sandwich were $ 4 each, though you can get a combo for $ 7.49. I think the concept of the restaurant is really cool. It has a café/Boba shop vibe to it, and all of the side items(spring rolls, che/desserts, etc.) looked amazing. My aunt bought this of items while we were there and she enjoyed it all! Overall, if I lived in the area, I’d go back for more regularly. And if I ever return to the area on vacation, I’ll make a pit stop for some sugarcane!

I absolutely love this restaurant, I’ve been coming here for at least a year now. I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it yet. The main thing to order here are the banh mi’s, obviously, but they also have several other Vietnamese dishes, snacks and desserts. You can see everything they have for the day either on the counter in front of/to the side of the register or in the coolers to the right. The have steamed buns, beef with noodles, summer rolls, coconut desserts and so many other delicious things. I’ve tried most of the banh mi’s on the menu, my favorites are the #1 the works(traditional with several meats) or #4 Korean BBQ. The bread is always really fresh, which I love. Their special on buy so many get one free keeps getting higher, at the moment it’s on buy 10 get one free. I do wish they’d stop raising the limit, but I guess they do need to make a profit! Their boba smoothies and milk teas are also really good, I love the taro boba smoothie. Overall my favorite place in south florida for Vietnamese fast food!

Lately, I have been trying to step outside of my comfort zone and try some new spots — Large in part to Unilocal and all of these places that have rave reviews and such yummy pictures — In walks 545* Banh Mi. and I am sold! Located in a random plaza off Stirling Road in Davie, this is for sure a hidden treasure. Be on the lookout for it in the Foodtown(grocery store) plaza. **On a Side note. Why is it that most amazing places I’ve discovered in South Florida have been in the most obscure locations?! Stumped?! Just part of the charm, I guess. I’ve been to 545* twice now and it is official — I’m in Love! I couldn’t have asked for better service. On both occasions, I have been greeted with a friendly«Welcome» as soon as I walked in and received a «Thank you or Have a wonderful day» as I left. And this past time in, the guy working the front cash wrap was outstanding! He was smiling ear to ear, upbeat and personable. made me feel like I’ve been in a thousand times. I was checked on a time or two(not too much but just enough when I was trying to enjoy a quiet lunch). Great staff! I love the vibe! Onto the Grub. my Favorite part! My first time in and I opted for just a smoothie — And believe me when I say that(as weird as it sounds). The Avocado Smoothie is spectacular! **On a side note, when I told my fiancé to check this place out(and I sadly couldn’t join in as I was working). The same awesome team member told him that the Avocado Smoothie was his Favorite. Boom! A Staff member tells you it’s their Fave. TRYIT! Try it Now! OK, Food. Yummy food! Based on previous reviews and pics, I had already decided on what I was going to try. the Lemongrass Grilled Pork Bahn Mi. Wowza! This is a Must! The bread was superb — perfectly crispy on the outside while doughy & soft on the inside. yep. pretty much bread perfection for a sammie. On the inside, the Lemongrass Gilled Pork… Ahhhh(I’m in Heaven)! The flavor of the pork was absolutely drool-worthy. Add on some Fresh jalapeños, cucumber, carrots, cilantro and daikon — We are talking about one of the best Banh Mi sandwiches you will ever have! Simply Delectable! It’s the perfect first bite(and every other bite until you finish)! When you eat the first half, you will wonder how you will eat next. but trust me. Where there’s a will, there a Way. And you will not regret eating that second half. Go ahead. Do it! Add on a Milk Tea(or Smoothie) for a Combo Meal — Best way to get a Bang for your Buck! If you are in the area(Heck, even if you are not. make the drive) — *545 Banh Mi is a must-visit! You will thank me later for turning you on to this«Must Try» spot! What are you waiting for. Goooo!!!

Wasn’t sure what all the hype was about but now I know. Had this on my radar for awhile but it’s kind of off the beaten path for me a little. Continuing my quest to try new places I found this little Vietnamese eatery. I did what I normally do when I can’t pronounce anything on the menu, I pointed…“what’s that” I asked? Lemon Grass Grilled Pork was the response so that’s what I ordered. Tried getting it with a bottled water but they were out so he threw in a soda for me for $ 5. Now that’s a deal, you can’t eat anywhere for $ 5 a anymore. Pretty solid sandwich. I loved the texture and crunchiness of the fresh veggies to compliment the pork. Cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, carrots and daikon, man was that thing packing some flavor! The bread was a little messy as I had crumbs all over the front of my shirt and table, lol but I enjoyed it. They also make fresh smoothies and other stuff I can’t pronounce, lol. I’ll definitely be back. I disliked the parking situation but I’ll deal with it

One of my favorite little shops and I have to give BIG credit to my coworkers: Shayne and Jaime for putting me onto them. I do enjoy me a good Banh Mi but never really was enticed at the thought of having one in Miami. … That makes me sound prejudice, doesn’t it? If you’ve eaten Asian food of all sorts in LA, San Fran, NYC, DC, ATL, you get my candor with the ones here in Miami. But this one evaded me, or rather I unjustifiably evaded it, and thanks to my coworkers I am a new fan-favorite! We come here for lunch pretty often. Them two more than I, but I love that they have combo deals that you just can’t pass up: Boba + Banh Mi Sandwich?! It’s perfect. So far, all the Boba I have tried here: Avocado, Thai Tea, Taro have been on point in terms on consistency, texture and actual boba balls. Viets got it down! I must confess that I haven’t ventured too far and the only sandwich I have tried is the Korean BBQ one because ITISAMAZINGGGG. Trust me, try it. Everyone here is so nice and sweet. They really take time to explain and give their best recommendations to anyone. There is also pre-made and packaged food that you could find at any Asian Mart with fresh food, sweets and bread. If you’re in the area, definitely drop by!

Life is too short not to try new things, so yesterday I finally went to 545 Banh Mi Café. It’s not hard to find but it also doesn’t POP out, located close to the corner of a shopping plaza you’ll find this rare find. Vietnamese food is not your conventional food for us Westerners but it sure is delicious. The staff is very friendly & well informed on the menu, which in turn makes it easier to understand the menu items. I ordered the #4 Korean BBQ Beef Banh combo which includes your choice of smoothie or milk tea, I got the Thai tea. My review on the Banh: all the ingredients are fresh, including the bread which is delicious alone but even more so with the toppings. It’s made to order so it does take a bit to get prepared. It was a decent size, not packed with meat nor veggies but enough to satisfy your craving for the exotic. I found my Banh was amazing when I added Siracha but my friend found the sweet dipping sauce(gotta ask for it) to be out of this world good. Thai tea: made to order as well & very fresh. My tea was prepared & then sealed shut with what I like to call a sorcery machine(basically it just seals the cup so you can shake the drink) The tea was great! I loved it, not too sweet with the occasional boba ball slap shotting my throat. 4⁄5 stars: I did love it but I didn’t like how some of the premade meat products(sealed and ready to go) including shrimp spring rolls & pork items like the cooked pork on rice weren’t kept on ice or heated. I’m a bacteria-phobe when it comes to meats & that didn’t seem like a safe option. Disclaimer: the fact that the pork is sealed wrapped might keep bacteria from growing but for sure the spring rolls need to be kept cold(culinary school)

1÷7÷2016 — I was looking for a place to have lunch with my sister. So glad this place is near my work place. We both had seen this place but were hesitant to try it. How wrong we were! We walked in and were greeted right away. We talked to the male cashier extraordinaire, who suggested we left the Banh Mi as is, once he heard us deciding whether or not to take some of the ingredients out. We only took out the jalapeño and the house mayo. I had the lemongrass pork. DELISH! She ordered the Soursop smoothie and I the Taro with tapioca balls. Both delicious but I have to say the Soursop, or as we call it in Puerto Rico, Guanabana, was super authentic. The flavors were on point. This lunch combo special is under $ 8!!! Great deal! My sister called me the next day, telling me she has been dreaming of the Soursop smoothie and that we must go back. I 100% agree!

Oh, 545° Bánh Mì…If only you were closer to my home, I would be here everyday. This little gem is located in a very busy shopping center. Even when we arrived a little after 2 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, there were a lot of people in and out ordering many tasty morsels. I wish I could have tried everything, but we controlled ourselves. All of their Bánh Mì are $ 4, and if you add a smoothie, tea or sugarcane juice then it’s $ 7.95. There is a small counter that you order from, one person at a time, so if the line is long it can be a little wait. There are about 5 tables that can seat around 4 people each. Service is fantastic, they were happy to explain anything I had a question about, and they are super quick for such a small place that’s so busy. I ordered the #1 Bánh Mì sandwich that was«all the works». It includes pâté, bbq pork, pork roll, headcheese, cilantro, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, and jalapeño all in a crusty white baguette. This was so bloody delicious and I used some of the sriracha they have on hand to spice it up a bit. I would opt out of getting headcheese next time and I’d rather add extra pork and/or Pâté. As delicious as headcheese is, it has a weird crunch and gelatinous texture to it that I don’t quite favor. Among this Bánh Mì flavor, there are many others. I’m really interested in trying the Korean BBQ Beef and Chicken varieties. I shared with my husband what I believe to be a Bánh Cam which is a round, fluffy, hollow funnel cake with sesame seeds instead of powdered sugar. These were out of this world good. They’re such a delightful, light, and sweet snack/dessert. I’ll have to get a half a dozen of these next time I come. The steamed shrimp spring rolls were okay, but I wouldn’t order them again since they’re a bit bland and even the hoisin sauce they give you doesn’t make them any more interesting. I knew this as I purchased them as they’re simply rice paper stuffed with steamed shrimp, rice noodles, cilantro and lettuce. Lastly, my absolute favorite of the day is the steamed pork buns that were stuffed with a blend of pork and vegetables, and a hard boiled egg right in the middle of it all. These smelled so divine, the steamed buns were perfectly fluffy and I loved all the flavors. And that’s coming from a girl who doesn’t like hard boiled eggs. Again, if I come back, I’ll have to get a half a dozen of these too!

First time and the reviews are right! On the corner of Sheridan and Davie rd the plaza of Foodtown grocery store and Phở 79 Friendly helpful customer service, delicious tasty fresh food. My first time and the cashier gave me the rundown of the menu and the special going on for a Banh Mi(Vietnamese sandwich), and a smoothie or bubble tea for under 8 $(under 8.50 with tax). I asked what his faves were he replied with pork meatballs, and I was sold. They came to my table to hand me the Taro smoothie with bubbles, it was delish! They assured me the food will come out shortly that they are making the meatballs. THAT fresh. I had time, I was here killing time because I was locked out of my place and had this bookmarked for awhile. The cashier told me they make all the food fresh. There are bags of flour on the floor for the baguette of the Banh Mi, other restaurants buy their bread to serve. I even saw them crushing fresh Cane for the Cane juice used in the milks and teas, impressed and tastes prove it! The sub came out, I mean meatball Banh Mi, and wow, the flavors are amazing! I love the matchstick veggies chopped up inside and the meatballs were flavorful, soft and delicious. The bread is similar to a French baguette, soft on the inside crunchy crust on the outside. I ate half the sandwich and brought the other half to my husband who loved this and wished I got him a whole one! I can’t wait to try other banh mi here, and yes(suggested by many Unilocalers) the Avocado and the Soursop flavors of smoothies here.

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your. BUBBLETEA! The bessssst Vietnamese sandwiches.ever. My co workers and i frequent this place when it’s been a long week. I like that you can order your tea with no sugar, and substitute for coconut milk. The tapioca balls are coated in honey, so that’s just enough sweet for me. Service is very quick during the lunch rush, and all the employees are friendly. I have only tried the lemongrass pork, and korean bbq beef. I always struggle between the two because they are both so good. I do always opt out of getting the jalapeño in my sammy because I’m a punk. The space is tiny, but cozy, and never too packed. After writing this review, I’m totally hitting them up for lunch tomorrow. Sweet!

My go-to place for banh mi and bubble tea. No question. I am a tad obsessed with the daikon, carrot, and cucumber mixture that come with banh mi sandwiches. The vegetables here always taste fresh and crisp. The chicken perfectly cooked and flavorful. And last, can’t forget one of the best parts. The wonderful carb that is a baguette that holds all those glorious ingredients together. Mmm! When it comes bubble tea, they’ve nailed it. I’m particular about the texture of boba and 545 does it just right. I’m particularly fond of their Thai tea and green tea!

I have been to 545 Banh Mi Café a couple times now and I am in LOVE. Seriously one of my favorite spots in Broward. I have been searching for the perfect Banh Mi sandwich and I finally found one. 545 doesn’t skimp on the baguette size, or on the meat, and you can get it all for a bargain. The best thing about 545 is their sandwich and a drink/smoothie deal for $ 7.95. I always get a boba tea to go with my Banh Mi. My favorite flavor by far is Taro, but I have also tried Thai Iced Tea, Red Bean, and Avocado. All very good. I HIGHLY recommend 545 Banh Mi Café to anyone looking for a truly delicious and inexpensive meal.

545 Banh Mi Café is the bomb! A co-worker and I ended up here by chance yesterday when a nearby bakery was sold out of empanadas at lunchtime. It turned out to be our very lucky day! Something about the outside of this small shop featuring Vietnamese street food made me anxious to go inside, but I’m so glad we did. The shopping center in which it’s located is… well, it’s dingy. We walked in to find a surprisingly modern and well organized restaurant. As we waited in line to place our order at the counter, we looked over the menu and wondered at all the unknown desserts in the refrigerator case. I don’t know what mung beans, longan or grass jelly tastes like, but I will be back next week to try at least one of them!(Does that give you a hint about how much we enjoyed our lunch? We’ll be back very soon!) We decided to order two sandwiches and share them. We ordered the #1 called«the works» and the #2, the lemongrass grilled pork. Both were outstanding, though I enjoyed #1 more. I went a little out of my comfort zone ordering this warm pâté, BBQ pork, pork roll and head cheese sandwich that comes on a French baguette. So happy I did. That first bite of sandwich exploded with so many different, yet complementary, flavors. First the meat flavors then a fresh hit that came from the pickled carrots and cilantro toppings. Bam!!! It was so good! This review is already long, and I haven’t even mentioned the delicious(and huge!) avocado and banana smoothie I slurped up, the very reasonable prices, or the fast and efficient service of the restaurant’s staff, despite a fairly long line of customers. I guess those words will have to be implied. If you’re looking for a very tasty sandwich, give 545 Banh Mi a try. I think you’ll be a convert too.
