Nice arts and craft store, and the only one in Weston as far as I can remember. Usually plenty of sales going on here as well. This store is roughly the same size as Michael’s though typically the stock at Michael’s tends to be of better quality. Staff here is friendly and helpful if and when you can get their attention as sometimes they get a bit too into their own convos. At the end of the day, it’s a decent art and craft supply joint.

A craft lover’s dream come true! This place has anything and everything you needed and thought you needed but didn’t. Believe me when I say I buy things here even when I’m not shopping for them. Always pretty organized and always priced as expected. Arts and crafts stores are never really all that cheap. You can find a 40% off coupon in the mail and if you’re lucky the clearance section is usually pretty stocked up on cool items. Definitely a must if you’re having a party, working on a project or simply bored with your life and need a hobby!

If you live in Weston, AC Moore is a lot closer than going to Michaels. But the store is pretty small, selection is poor and the products are generally lower end than Michaels. Both companies are always running 40% off 1 item coupons. Just install the app on your phone. AC Moore is also more expensive on many items.

I love this place! I’m here alot don’t know why I’ve never reviewed. Truth is I’m addicted to this place. You can find most everything needed for any craft or art project. Most items I’ve ever needed have always been on sale. Great prices here. It’s my go to place for my paints and canvas. Love the fact they have a good variety of colors on stock all the time. Brushes are a good selection as well. Most of time they have 50 to 60% discount sales going on stretched canvas. If you download their app you can get great coupons.

Awesome place for DIY crafty stuff. I love it here. They have wedding stuff, scrapbooking, jewelry making, etc. AC Moore always have 40% coupon that you can find online and the cashier can scan the coupon right off your smart phone.

Not once, not twice, not even three times is it the«charm». That’s how many times I have given this craft store the benefit of the doubt! I can’t count how many times, well maybe, about 15 likely times I have shopped this store and the line is verrrry long and only one cashier. I don’t understand, it’s the only craft store in Weston, so fairly busy consistently. Get some cashiers!!! Also, noticed that the managers are always«busy» or appear to pretend to be busy and do NOT jump in to help reduce the long line and wait. The managers don’t staff this business correctly. If you can stand long lines and an even longer wait, they have a good selection and place is clean. Oh, and don’t expect too much help. Customer service is hit or miss when you’re there!

A.C. Moore is the ONLY thing I like about Weston. They have a great selection of all the basic things that you would need in a craft store. However, I find that they have a wider selection in certain departments than Michael’s does. I live a good 25 minutes away and I think it is worth the drive!

Okay, let’s start on a positive note! I really enjoy just walking through this A.C. Moore location without any idea of what I will buy, want or need. You just never know if you’re gonna be unable to refuse that urge to buy that plaster Roman column to put your fake bouquet of flowers on while burning a pineapple candle with your left hand and wearing 632 Wacky Bandz on your right. But seriously… while there are many things in A.C.Moore that are there for specific, common use(tools for painters, craftyfolk and scrapbookers), I get the most pleasure in looking for and finding things I never knew existed or that I needed! A.C.Moore(and in their defense, Michael’s Arts and Crafts too) is the place to go if you want to burn giant jar candles without spending twenty bucks(ahem, cough cough, Yankee Candle). For about four dollars, you can score one of these giant candles and burn them in your bathrooms or kitchen all day. South Florida is a mildewy heaven sometimes, and these candles help to break that humid air. I highly recommend this place for either your specific needs, or just for browsing and discovery. I can only award three stars today, though, because of my last visit to this location. It was a busy Saturday afternoon. I counted eleven people in line and one cashier. Meanwhile I watched two managers chatting in the back office behind the customer service desk area. Even at Starbucks, when times get tough with crowds, managers hit the cups and make coffee. I hope my service experience will be better next time. There will certainly be a next time. Daddy needs his candles!
