Favorite diner in this area! My fiancé and I go here almost every week. Great breakfast and good quality entrée meals, very high quality diner for sure!

This is the third time I have eaten here and every time I say I will never come back. I only cane in because it was convenient, but as usual the service was horrible as was the food. Runny eggs that I waited forever to receive. After this visit I will certainly not be back, just gross.

I’ve been here a few times for breakfast and none of them have been great. Food is plain and hastily prepared. Went for breakfast this morning and ordered scrambled eggs, bacon(well done) and hashbrowns with cheese. My eggs were undercooked and had some mystery leftover food from the griddle mixed up in them. Bacon was the opposite of well done and they threw two cold slices of American cheese on top of my barely warm hashbrowns. I asked our server to have everything cooked more. Round two — mystery food was still on my eggs which now were brown and horrible looking. The bacon was hot but still nowhere near crispy. My husbands eggs were also undercooked and his Belgian waffle cold and chewy. All in all it was disgusting. The manager saw our displeasure and removed my meal from our bill. It will still be the last time I ever eat there.

This is my local favorite diner to visit on weekend mornings as the service is usually fast, we genuinely like the service, and the food is better then your typical IHop. As many people will tell you, many people come to sit in Mark’s section as he is probably the best waiter here. He keeps you entertained and laughing throughout your sitting. Mark’s section isn’t always available because he will have people waiting to sit just with him. Besides him, the other waiters are a hit or a miss. I have had bad experiences here and good. If on the weekend mornings it is packed, sit at the bar as it is seat yourself and you will get to eat much faster then waiting for a table as well as listen into all the drama going on with different tables lol! The food is slightly better than ihop and Dennys combined. The belgian waffle with strawberries is delicious. Eggs/bacon/sausage/toast is another morning usual. Home fries are great and not overly seasoned. Hamburgers are good. Desserts, as you will see when you walk, are huge but I have never tried them. They must be good at that size. When you are finished with your meal, take your check to the register to pay– the waiter only drops off your check. I don’t think they tell a lot of people this and people wait around to pay. There is a lot of parking as well. Only thing that’s slightly annoying is the entrance. There is only one, in and out, and this rode is kind of busy. I have seen many accidents on this one street because everyone trying to merge on one side and entering/leaving the little shops around. FYI– If you are a coffee lover like me, they do not bring flavored creamers to the table.(trying to keep the good stuff!) Ask them to bring them instead of their non-flavored creamers when you order.

Nasty food, nasty service. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Great diner food 4.5÷5 Incredible service– thank you Justin Open 24⁄7 Menu with an astounding number of options Large portions Husband and I shared the chicken Parmesan!& carrot cake The actual chicken parm was amazing The fettuccine that comes with it is decent — better than the average diner but not homemade Italian caliber But… The garlic bread is amazing amazing Tip: ask for spaghetti sauce on the side Carrot cake is great and moist on the sweeter side however Would come back

I have been to flashback a number of times and was never thrilled with their food. It was just… Average. Actually it was less than average. Today I went there with my daughter and I ordered a BLT sandwich and she ordered a tuna sandwich. My BLT was basically a pile of bread, lettuce, and left over scraps of bacon. My daughters tuna sandwich was sloppily made, the tuna was only half on the bread and was almost 50% mayonase. She could only eat half of the sandwich it was so bad. Both sandwiches were made with literally no care. I can say that I am NOT going here anytime soon.

Absolutely enjoyed my lunch there today! Went with my family & our server MARK(Jake from State Farm), kept us well fed & laughing thru our entire stay. We had the roast pork BB sandwich, the chicken salad club & something called the DelToro ??(Chicken breast with monterey jack cheese & avocado). Everything was delicious & the portions were very large. Our desserts were also large enough for 2 or 3 people to share! We really had a great meal & a surprisingly fun time thks to Mark. He shld be the entertainment in this restaurant. He was really hilarious & we will definitely be back for the food & hopefully more laughs! Thks

My wife have been going to Flashback Diner about once a week for the last few months. I have never had a bad experience with the food here and have enjoyed everything I have tried. The canolli pancakes are amazing. The only issue I have had is the service can be slow. I have been in when it is busy and slow and have had to wait a while to place my drink order and for refills. Other than the slow service on some occasions, I would recommend checking out Flashback and taking a piece of cake home with you.

My breakfast here was good, but I also had a basic breakfast so its hard to mess that up. The service is what boosted this 3 star food to a 4, they were all so attentive and kind. I really like that this place is 24 hours, and I plan on coming back for any diner food cravings that I may have in the future.

I’ve been here several times for late night dinner. My favorite dish is the buffalo chicken tenders. It’s a good spot for very late nights bc its one of the few things open 24hrs. Think Denny’s that’s a little more expensive BUT their desserts are to die for. The cake slices cone from gigantic caked! The red velvet cake is my favorite :)

Nice and cozy diner love the memorabilia that is on the walls for instance they had a John Wayne poster with one of his rifles pretty cool. Service was great I had the Floridian omelette with homefries and it was delicious. So many other things on the menu that seems Delicious. For next time. They also have outdoor seating aswell. There dessert section! they don’t make small cakes at all or even regular size they got super size which is awesome. Definitely on my next visit now that I know what to expect. I’m try a slice of carrot cake lol that might just be enough for me or for the whole meal that’s how big they are. This establishment is open 24 hours a day to satisfy that night hunger lol. I enjoyed listening the 60’s music too. This place is definitely worth coming back again and again. on my next visit I definitely got try their pancakes I heard they are excellent.

I’ve been to Flashback Diner a handful of times, but today’s service really takes the cake and not in a good way. So I’ll run down the details for you: 11:15AM We arrive and write our names down for 2, and I’m told the wait would be 10 min, which is pretty good for a Sunday brunch time. I check into Unilocal because that’s how I do. 11:25AM We’re seated and the waitress asks us what we would like to drink and we both ask for water, etc. Meanwhile, we look through the menu. 11:30AM Water arrives. Yay, H2O! 11:35AM Waitress comes back and takes our order. 11:35−12:30PM My friend and I catch up and we wait for food. At some point, I realize that it’s been a while and I literally counted 5 groups of people that were seated AFTER us who already got their food and were finishing up or already left. The waitress had come by around 12PM and apologized because she didn’t know what was taking them so long with our order(Cinnamon French toast, a Belgian Waffle, and an Eggs Benedict). At 12:30, I noticed the table of four next to us who came an HOUR after us was getting their lunch. My friend and I point this out to their server and she apologizes on the restaurant’s behalf and says the meal is coming out soon. 12:35PM Our original waitress comes to us and apologize and says that she forgot to submit the order(seriously?). 12:45PM About an hour and a half after arriving to Flashback, we finally get our food. We inhale it because we’re starving. The manager comes out and apologizes to us and gives us 2 dinky brownie bites as a «peace offering.» 1PM We’re finishing up our meal, and the waitress gives us a 10% discount off our meal(so about $ 2.40), which is a nice try but I also have a student ID which also gives me a discount of 10%, so you tell me how I should feel. At the end of the day, I was upset and disappointed. I acknowledge that they tried to make up for it, but I thought it was insufficient for having had made us wait for over an hour, when everyone else around us was being served. I’m not sure if I plan to ever visit this establishment in the future because our personal service was just so awful. I think I would just have bad«flashbacks» to this experience.

7÷20÷15 — another visit to the nicely decorated front of building Flashback Davie location, I Like the outdoor porch seating & the custom made coffee cup large fountain out front. — Ordered a safe bet, from there large menu, A Ruben sandwich, good size sandwich, well made, above average, came w/a potato pancake(w/sour cream & apple sauce) that could had been good, if it wasn’t burnt on the grill. Ordered coffee & glass of water — one of the worst tasting glass of tab water? Time to change OR buy a water filter ! — Black & White cookie Always Good, soft & chewy w/consistence more like cake, than regular cookie. The Carrot cake & Red Velvet cake some of the tallest I have seen, need to order & review in future– $ 40 plus tip — value Good — rating 7.5÷10

7÷4÷2015− After the Weston 4th of July 5k run, our running club #SecretRunBreakfastClub came here for some yummy breakfast. We requested to sit outside since we were still sweaty from the run. This place is as cute as a button. Rocking chairs for adults and kids adorn the entry way. You can also wait for your table to be ready in their massive leather couch. We were seated right away to be greeted by the most fabulous waiter, Mark. He definitely made this experience once to remember. He is funny, attentive and just charming. Make sure to ask for his special 24k Gold butter. I ordered the Dipping Bacon Pancakes, that’s right Bacon Pancakes! There were about 5 pancakes with powdered sugar and a little plate filled with syrup. I wish the syrup would have been hot. My friends ordered the Cannoli Stuffed Pancakes and the Vegetable Hash with Poach Eggs, and a side of oatmeal. Absolutely delicious. We will be back, they have an extensive menu and they are OPEN24HOURS!

This is a good place for breakfast. Is it my favorite place in Broward? no. It is a good, reliable, breakfast place. They have a lot of outdoor seating, so that is nice. The coffee is hot, but they don’t buy the good stuff. They must send Bonnie. The menu has lots of options, and lots of unique dishes. There is pretty much something for everyone, and they can accommodate large groups without blinking. They have large sections for indoor and outdoor seating, so that is nice. A solid 4 stars, and a place we frequent frequently.

I have to say that I do love the food here, however what has really killed the vibe for me is the customer service that the employees have here. Ordering and getting the food to your table is a bit of a process, and even when it’s pretty slow it’ll still take time. I’ve been here on about 3 different occasions, and each time has been roughly the same(two times with about four-five people, another time with just two). Prices are a bit expensive, but again the meals are great! A side of seasoned fries, however, costed me about $ 5. It was a decent serving size, but still crazy expensive. As others have said, this place is basically an overpriced Denny’s, but they serve some unique dishes unlike the major restaurant chain. Their desserts are crazy too! I’d recommend checking this place out at least once, and it helps that they’re open 24 hours a day!

Being a Regular of the Hallandale Location, and being in the area the other evening me and a friend stopped by for a quick bite at this Davie Location. Much larger than Hallandale, plenty of parking we sat down to a menu that appears to be different from the other. Christie was very nice our server just soda tonight. and we went with two house speicals. After Chicken Matzah Ball Soup. Soup was bland and had no taste whatsoever but some salt added and made it passible. Open Face Roast Turkey with stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes. Turkey was pretty moist though it seemed carved into scraps rather than nice breast type pieces and the bread was not toasted under the turkey. While the cranberry sauce was fine, stuffing and weak gravy left something to be desired. Mashed potatoes were fairly pedestrian. All and all I’d have to give this a failing grade. Meatloaf special with french fries was well disappointing. Like dried hockey pucks of sliced loaf with brown mystery sauce along with ok french fries made this one of the most least memorable meals I’ve had in a long time. Simply stated PASS. Coffee was hot and fresh… Restrooms needed a cleaning, paper towels everywhere. In short as Diners go this one fails…

I think I ordered the wrong thing, but I wasn’t prepared when I came. Plan A was closed inexplicably and I was off my game. So I drove to Plan B, Flashback Diner. I have to say this was my first visit, and what did I do? I did something I never do, which is order Italian pasta from a diner. It was probably because I was overwhelmed at the menu. The menu was vast, and I had no idea what I wanted. So, the server came by to get my order, but when she read the specials, I opened my mouth before I realized it was a bad idea. I should have kept looking. I was not too worried after she brought the pasta out to the table. It actually looked good. I even commented on it. However, after I took my first bite, my initial fear was realized. It was awful. The garlic toast was okay. My server didn’t come back to check on me, and I am not sure I would have said anything if she had. I didn’t want to send it back, as I didn’t have a lot of time. I may try them again if the circumstances present themselves. They were nice there, and they have WiFi. I will just check out some other reviews to see what is better on that gigantic menu.
