Happy Pappy is my favorite local liquor store. I used to frequent here in my glorious drinking days as this store was the closest to me to sell Bacardi Anejo, which is my rum of choice.
And the best part… the drive through. Personally I like to stop in and talk a bit while perusing the 3 aisles that are jam packed with every type of liquor imaginable… but when it’s late at night the area can get a little sketch and hitting up the drive through is the way to go!
PS. Random story, I do have a friend whose legal birth name is Happy. Although his last name isn’t Pappy, his mother’s maiden name was in fact Papai.

The most important thing with this place is the drive thru! The whiskey selection is average, and the owner looks like an old captain and looks exactly like my father (who lives in other country) so each father’s day I go to the store, buy a bottle of scotch and give him a hug.

I had to Unilocal Happy Pappy mainly because of the name but also because it is the first liquor store I came across after leaving the Ft. Lauderdale Airport.
The prices and selection are decent for a package store that advertises its «Drive-Thru Service» and caters to the local brown bag crowd.
The increased selection comes from airport tourists like myself and the 3 cars loads behind me. All of us were stocking up before going to our respective tourists traps.
While, Happy Pappy makes for a happy trip it is not worth searching out.
