food was amazing til I had hair on the table and watch the girl drop a pitcher on the floor and then fill it up with tea and dust even wash the container

Have been coming here for several years now and have never had a bad experience. Its inexpensive so you cant expect the highest quality food. Overall the service is great and love coming just for the waffles and hash browns. I wouldn’t recommend anything besides breakfast food.

Typically I don’t have an issue with this restaurant. This is the closest Waffle House to my residence so I prefer coming to this location versus going to the restaurant off of Powerline Road. I visited the restaurant a few days ago and my total was about ten bucks. I ate at the counter so I left the waitress a small tip. I added the tip to my receipt because I was using my debit card. Well I checked my bank account a few moments ago and I see that the transaction has posted. However the balance has been adjusted. I have very strong reason to believe that the tip I left on my receipt was altered after I left the restaurant and was charged to my debit card. That’s the equivalent to stealing my money. So I thought about calling my bank and disputing this action but I’m not going to do that for a measly buck. But I will let other people who plan on visiting this restaurant know that sometimes the staff will edit the tips you leave on debit cards so it’s best if you eat here to provide your trip and pay for your food using cash. I’ll never go back to this restaurant again. I’ll have to get used to going to the restaurant off Powerline. They’ve never stolen my money.

We had a very odd experience dining here. A couple employees were kind of nice the rest had frowns and weren’t very present. The kitchen area, which is open to the customers was really dirty. The food wasn’t anything special but not bad.

This place is haunted bc of the crazy worker who shot and killed two of the other employees in the freezer. Pretty interesting fact!

Eight people working, ten customers eating and nobody acknowledged me for more than 10 minutes. Being from Atlanta where we have a great Waffle House on every corner, this team and management are giving the Waffle House brand a bad reputation.

I had never been to a waffle house before this visit. So one day after picking up a friend and her boyfriend, we decided to go to waffle house and didn’t have the best experience.
I tried the plain waffles with chocolate chips and the hash browns. The hash browns were good and waffles were decent. Food is super cheap, served fast and simple. Don’t expect anything fancy on the menu.
So I would give it 3 stars but it’s the service that made me give it 2 stars. Although our waitress was very nice and friendly, it was the cashier that rang us out that made us regret coming here. After waiting a very long time to pay for the food, the cashier seemed like she was sleeping WHILE ringing us up. I don’t know if she was working 2 shifts or what was going on, but this is unacceptable. She seemed out of it and charged us incorrectly. Once we told her, she didn’t apologize or feel bad. It was frustrating because she wasnt making eye contact (because did I mention, she was literally sleeping) and we had to wait again. Once she fixed the mistake, we left and we all took an oath to come back to this specific waffle house.

My husband loves WH, so for him to walk out before even ordering says something. We came in after a 4 hour drive to a nearly empty (not one single table occupied) restaurant. There were a handful of people standing near the counter who appeared to be friends with the one visible waitress who was behind the counter washing dishes. EVERY SINGLE booth was dirty… dishes on some tables, spilled drinks, ketchup, etc. Even the counter area was a mess. I have never seen a WH look like that, even after a huge crowd. Not sure what the story was, but something was amiss.

Not my go to place for a late night meal but I was with friends who were craving it.
Rolled up in this joint looking for some legit waffles as the name states, I was expecting a menu full of different waffles flavors and combinations. Sadly I was left with only 3 options (really waffle house??? You only had one job!): plain waffles, waffles with chocolate chips, or waffles with peanut butter. They were out of my top choice– blueberry waffles. So we ordered a plain waffle and a peanut butter chocolate chip waffle with a side of hash browns and a chicken sandwich.
We cant count up to 30 and the food was in front of us. Dang, that was fast. The plain waffle was alright nothing i cant get at a continental breakfast at the Holiday Inn. They really wowed us with the chocolate/​peanut butter waffle though– it was a plain waffle with chocolate chips and peanut butter chips sprinkled on top! They didnt even go through the step of putting it the batter before making the waffle. The hash browns were good, just your normal out of the baggie po-​ta-​tas.
After you take the 2^nd bite of your waffles your check has arrived. With one glance at wopping total of $ 6.68 for the plain waffle and the triple hash browns everything tasted a lot better lol. So you cant beat the price.
The waitress that took care of us was awake and alert despite forgetting a few things we ordered, but she was friendly. When we went to pay for our meal at the register we were helped by a «$ BeckaBoo $» or so her name tag states. Now Ms. BeckaBoo was not having the best of days, she looked like she could fall asleep any second while she was ringing us up. In fact she totaled our bill incorrectly. Instead of correct total of $ 21 something for everything she charged us $ 34. We told her it was wrong and without apologizing or saying a word she very slowly made the refund, recalculated, and then recharged us and we were on our way. A way with no return.

As far as waffle houses go, it’s a 4 Star Pl. Overall if you are looking for a quick place to have some real cooked meal when you’re on the go, or just want to get some food in you after a long night of drinking, this would be the place.
As far as the service goes, this was a five-​star experience. I was greeted multiple times with smiles upon entering and was tended to buy a friendly waiter Who checked up on me multiple times during the dining experience and was always very courteous, I was expecting it to be more of a rough experience than what it was!
Most importantly the food was fresh and made right in front of me at the bar, a little greasy but that’s what you get when you go there.
This place is conveniently located off the highway so if you’re going east or west on the 595, it’s a quick stop over. From exiting highway to finish, I was in and out in 15 minutes.

The food was alright but the service, not so much. Our waiter was a nice guy so I feel awful leaving this review. I asked for a split check since I was on a first date, he forgot and gave my date, the guy, the check. Then I Asked for cheese on my grits and he put it in my eggs. These are minor errors thigh but I feel obligated to the Unilocal world to say it. The place was pretty clean for an 11pm and the food came out fast. I think the Waffle House needs a huge makeover. They need to completely revamp their diner. It doesn’t beat ihop but it’s quick comfort food for the late night.

Five stars for service, three stars for food (5 for the waffles), and two for atmosphere. I settled on three overall.
I didn’t get the name of the woman helping me but she was super nice. I’m a vegetarian and pretty much everything on the menu has meat so I was having some trouble. Ended up getting a meal with two eggs, wheat toast, hash browns, a waffle, and I had sliced tomatoes in place of meat. Was glad she was able to help me out since I have never been here before. She made sure I had everything I needed too, ketchup, butter, etc. She was very helpful and it was much appreciated.
The toast was soggy which loses points for me. Still edible, but pretty soggy. Eggs were good but it’s hard to mess those up, I got them over medium. Hash browns were good but nothing special, I would’ve liked to try one of the toppings on them! The waffle was soooo good. After ordering, I realized that they have stuff you can add in the waffles and I kind of wish I would’ve done that because it sounded amazing. Prices were as expected, but I could’ve spent that much on a higher quality meal. Not to say that I didn’t enjoy this food!
Atmosphere is crappy but who cares haha, it’s mostly about the food! I’m full and satisfied so that is certainly a plus.

Soon as we walked in it was like all of the staff greeted us and it wasn’t over bearing they were just really nice! Our server Danique was real nice and really attentive. I absolutely love the Waffle House, definitely always a stop for me when I’m down south since there aren’t any in New York And if I’m in the Davie area again I will definitely add another check in!

By far the worst I’ve had got in on a wed morning with my husband and 2 of our children it wasn’t so packed sat down at a table waited 15 minutes for someone to come take a drink order. Food came quick after finally ordering. My children’s plate came and as my son was eating I realized there was hair in his food so I was grossed out told her to take the plate that wasn’t even really eating she didn’t say sorry just said ill make u new eggs I was like no it’s ok u can just take the whole plate. She gave me the bills didn’t compensate the meal but whatever first time going there the place was filthy service is awful will never go back and will be contacting corporate.

As expected on Sunday morning, very crowded but food good as always. Just expect a waitress who slams your coffee down on the table causing some to spill without caring, tosses your creamer at you, and slides plates onto the table they almost slide into your lap, that would be Ciara… she hates her job or enjoys being rude. Was almost entertaining. My kids hated the chocolate milk, its fat free, could be why. Other than that, the hashbrowns and waffles are always on point. Will go back for the food and the entertaining service.

Going to give it 3 stars for the GREAT FOOD! Every time I come here it’s a chaotic mess but I always leave full and satisfied.
We all know that majority of the Waffle House are disgustingly filthy, that shouldn’t be a surprise to you that this location is just that.
The prices are cheap and fair considering the kind of food you’re getting and the environment you’re in.
The employees look run down, dirty, and tired but somehow someway the service is always fast and I always eat and leave in a matter of 20 – 30 minutes.
So if and when you go expect to be creeped out by the filth but enjoy the tasty food!

So noisy! Ahhhh! Leaving with a migraine. Too much nonsense behind the counter. Its CREEPY how messy this place is. I can’t picture this place getting 100% clean by the end of the day. 1^st and last time I come here.

Everything tastes soooo good!
I can’t put into words how good the food is– from the pecan fresh buttery moist waffles to the cheesy jalapeño hash browns, the perfectly cooked eggs (add jalapeño!!) ugh it’s all just so good.
I’m not giving them the full 5 stars because I think we all know, this place is disgustingly filthy ! haha there is no way they would ever pass inspection, it’s grimy on the floors, the countertops aren’t cleaned between guests, I mean really it’s enough to leave without thinking twice but listen to me! STOP! Eat the food and you will be able to just make believe you aren’t actually there. Plus, it’s a lot of fun watching how crazy the energy level is in there– it’s always so packed and there are 10 people working in a tiny cramped space– but they have it down to the T!
My friends from ATL say it’s crazy overpriced here, but c’mon it’s the same price as Denny’s– you just can’t go wrong! I’ve been to one in New Orleans and it was much, much cleaner but hey… you can’t always have it all right. You can however– have an amazing meal, be fully entertained people-​watching, and have the friendliest service in town.
This is just one of those places that no matter what you order, you will LOVE IT!
Ignore the nasty crud on the walls and floors and have the best breakfast you’ve had in ages!

Waffle house, a fine place to grab some great tasting breakfast. They got this warm atmosphere in their place, I’ve been here since the day I tasted their nice food.
The food here was extremely good, specially the waffles. I always get the waffles every I went here because its all amazing. Taste like something that you should never be missing.

Trip to south beach and i had a rental you know i was going to explore places to eat, the waffle house was one on the bucket list, food priced well, and everything was good including the person that took the order… everything came out fresh and delicious
