this place is absolutely terrible. I went in one night about 2 months ago(wasn’t too crowded, average amount of customers), sat at the bar, & had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge me & ask what I would like to drink. then, when one of the bartenders finally came over, she was completely distracted, but finally took my drink order(a corona). then, when I went to order food, I told her I am ready to place my order, & she told me «hold on, I’m doing something, I’ll be back in a minute»(extremely rude. this is your JOB, not to mention it wasn’t even that busy & there were 2 other bartenders behind the bar at the same time, it’s not like she was on her own). finally, after waiting another 20 minutes & still no sign of her anywhere, I asked the male bartender to put my order in for me. he was very nice, apologetic, & attentive. after my food came out, the bartender who I was initially dealing with reappeared & I told her how I felt. she had an attitude, so I asked to speak with a manager. I see her talking to the owner, Sal, off to the side. I went over there and nicely asked Sal if I can speak with him alone. I explained to him what was going on, & how I felt that with all of this aggravation I had to deal with just to get 1 corona &1 appetizer, I did not feel that I should have to pay. he was EXTREMELYRUDE and told me «you’re not going to tell me what you’re going to pay for. you’re going to pay for everything you got.» I was totally taken back, & could not believe his lack of customer service skills and horrendous manners to a customer. when issues like this happen at other establishments, the managers are always willing to offer you something for your troubles, such as a free meal, gift card, etc. when the customer feels that they have been treated fairly, they are highly likely to return. but here, no. FALCONPUBDOESNOTCAREABOUTTHEIRCUSTOMERS. I have told everybody I know about this experience & warned them to not go here unless they want to be treated like a piece of crap & neglected by both the employees & the owner!!! I hope whoever reads this takes my experience into consideration, because never in my life have I seen this type of treatment at a place of business. IF I COULDHAVEGIVENTHEM0STARS I WOULDHAVE.

You know that bar you go to with your friends where you can’t figure out why you keep going but yet always wind up there? This place would be it. There’s nothing extremely memorable about it but I always keep coming back. I’d think it’s because the atmosphere is so inviting. It’s not a high end sports bar with a myriad amount of TVs. It’s your classic hole in the wall dive bar. The cocktails aren’t particularly delicious but they do the job. The wait staff is excellent though, that I will tell you. I always tip extra for bartenders because they work their asses off, but the wait staff here work very well together. I enjoy their dynamic. I always sit by the bar so I’m only speaking of the bartenders, I never sit at the tables. Marmalade is my favorite bartender. She’s quirky and funny and not to mention very sweet. Their food leaves much to be desired. I find that they fry their food with too much batter so I don’t like it. I’ve never gotten a dish I would order again. So all in all, this place is one of those spots where you can sit with friends or even strangers and have great conversations. Everyone is very friendly here & the place is always packed. There’s plenty of games and even the touch tunes jukebox. I do like coming here. I would say that they are worth checking out at least once but don’t go in with super high expectations.

Been coming here for 20 years, but I haven’t been in a minute. Times have definitely changed. The food are still on point but the service and management is horrible. Over 30mins for soup, wings, and another round of beers. Management graced us with an ITB discount. No apology just an excuse that the waitress was new and she didn’t speak English well. Our waitress was actually a beautiful English girl that probably spoke better English than us all. I guess getting your food to go is a better choice.

Two stars ONLY based on the food. The wings & ribs were good. However, the service was NOT. We ordered beers, appetizers and entrees all at once. Our beers came. Half an hour later, we were wondering where our appetizer was, and if we were going to have to order a second round from the bar because our waitress was nowhere in sight. Blah, blah, blah, we asked to see a manager, who offered us a 15% discount? How about comp us a round?! Get out of here. My friends and I couldn’t believe it. We would have been better off getting our food to go.

Falcon pub is the place to go. The service, food, and prices are always amazing. Into at least three times a week if not to drink to just hang out. I ALWAYS request Nicki. She is always making sure your OK and taken care of, my drinks are never empty, and the conversation never stops. As I waitress myself I can honestly say she’s one of the best I’ve had. Say the owner treat you like family, and the security guy is to die for. He keeps the environment clean and civil. Overall, I’ve never found a place like falcon and I recommend this place over anything.

Cool place. kinda divey, went there the other night with a group of folks after a UYE, this was kinda the second UYE(dare I say BANGBANGUYE).ok.I said it… we ended up here, had dinner, drinks and good times. I didn’t really explore much of the menu, but I went with the Fish and Chips(how could I not)…it was good. Came out nice and crispy, nice size portions, with steak fries. The Service was great, especially for a rambunctious bunch. I would go back again if I was in the area, and looking for some grub and brews.

My friend Nicole V. called me yesterday around 6pm, after I had just woken up from a much need post work, hangover nap, and her immediate comment was«Savanna, you know nothing good ever happens at Ye Olde Falcon» lol. Well she’s right! Truth is, I used to come to Falcon all the time with that same Nicole, so she would be one to know lol. She used to be quite the regular and I used to join her for some late night drinks, afternoon drinks, even drinks when I had lost my voice and the bartenders were nice enough to make me a hot toddy(complete with some melted butter). Falcon is one of those weird places that draws both the younger Nova crowd, as well as some seasoned alcoholics, and the occasional Brit who is looking for a piece of home(I used to come here with my dad quite a bit for the fish and chips!). Anyways, fast forward to now. After some Linner(yes that’s lunch/dinner) near by, a few of us wanted to keep the party going. We originally planned to check out a Hookah Bar, but after than didn’t work out I suggested Falcon for our alcohol needs. We ordered our first round at the bar but were encouraged to take over a large table in the«party room» which worked out great as we were a decent sized group. Janice and Coley(did I make those names up) were happy to keep our fun going and dealt with our shenanigans quite well. On top of our drinks we ordered some of the appetizers meant for sharing — spinach dip, nachos, fried pickles etc, most of which was pretty average, but the fried pickles were probably the best I’ve ever had! Falcon pub is a great spot if you’re looking for a neighborhood drinking hole! PS. There may be some interesting pictures of lip tattoos… but I plead the 5th lol.

We went here for the first time a couple of nights ago. I got the fish and chips but found them a bit greasy. My wife got the chicken pot pie and the chicken was overdone to the point of being inedible. There was a good game of trivia going on and it seems like a great place for a beer, but overall we were disappointed with the dining experience.

Love this family-owned pub! It’s definitely a hidden gem in this area. The owners are awesome and the crowd is always great. They have over 48 beers on tap, and the food is also great. I recommend you ask for Elena, she’s the best!

Had a really wonderful experience here. Met up with a small group of friends and our dogs. We were seated comfortably on the front patio. Water bowls and doggie treats were placed around all of our tables so that our furry children could enjoy the evening as well. Most of the people in our group were vegan and the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us. We had piping hot veggie meatballs with marinara sauce, hot fresh french fries, and other delcious options. When I requested mustard, I was offered a choice of different types. We were also told by the owner that they have an open kitchen and can accommodate any vegan requests. They get frequent deliveries of fresh vegetables and can easily create a delicious meal. Although we sat outside were were treated with attentive service for ourselves and our pets. Even the doggie water bowls were kept filled with fresh water. There is a separate drink menu with a large variety of beers and cocktails. I am looking forward to coming back here soon.

Falcon Pub is a great dive bar, without being divey. Maybe divey in a Davie way. It’s particularly awesome if you like beer. Maybe I’ll count the taps someday when I haven’t been drinking, but it’s gotta be at least 30. It’s a great place to stop in, sit at the bar, and have a drink. Tip: you can taste a beer before buying a whole pint. Domestic beer is cheap, and craft beers will run you $ 5-$ 8. Food wise, I don’t branch out a lot at Falcon Pub if I’m eating and drinking. Their fish and chips is a solid, well made dinner, but think the grouper fingers have better flavor and they’re my go-to meal. Maybe I just like grouper better than cod. The Smoked fish dip is nice and fresh, served with veggies and crackers. Around Saint Patrick’s Day, I always order the corned beef and cabbage, and gobble up every bite. Overall, Falcon Pub is a great, neighborhood pub with a full bar and craft beer, indoor and outdoor seating, and a cozy atmosphere.

Divey place with a good beer selection. Games outside include oversized Jenga, and beer pong. It is pretty comfortable inside and out with good service.

This place is TERRIFIC. Showed up here with some friends on a Thursday night. They have the video game«Rockband» set up in a private corner, so groups can sign up to perform(one drummer, one singer, one guitarist all follow on-screen queues and work in harmony to perform a song) This really takes karaōke to a new level. At first, the music was mostly heavy metal/rock but it later retuned to modern pop and hip-hop. The drinks are pretty reasonably priced and the bartenders are quick and attentive. It always nice not to have to wait longer than necessary while flagging down the bartender. A lot of folks opted for beer buckets(of bud lite) to share with their groups. Mostly college kids frequent this place, so it’s very welcoming to the youthful/student crowds. There’s a spectacular set of games outside the bar. Dozens of hooligans line up to play beer pong at a lengthy wooden table. Check out the spectacular jenga set on one of the outdoor tables — kept us busy for over an hour towering wooden blocks and watching them fall. I’m excited to come back here for a reasonably priced beer and to play some jenga.

Update: I tried the regular portion of Fish and Chips rather than the lunch portion, and if you like Fish and Chips, skip the lunch portion. The regular size is more expensive, but it is worth it. Have it with the malt vinegar. My lunch buddy and I made the return visit here, and we were both very pleased with our food. I am excited to now have a new delicious protein option for lunch. Her cheese steak looked fantastic also, and it must have been. She ate the whole thing, and I would have been lucky to get half way through that bad boy.

Anyway, I was here on Saturday February 14th to see my friend’s band, Fishing With Fredo, play. We had a whole section by where the band was playing just for us. Maybe it’s because we knew the band but, we weren’t thirsty or in need of anything while there. We were very well taken care of and it was many of us using different tables in that area. My best friend, who had been to this pub already, told me I had to try the Chicken Wings here. So, I did. In addition to their Chicken Wings and throughout the concert, I also tried their Southwest Egg Rolls, Cheddar-filled Jalapeños and Cheese Nachos. The Cheese Nachos being my least favorite and the Southwest Egg Rolls being my favorite. The nachos weren’t bad. I just didn’t like the hint of «something» sweet in them. The Southwest Egg Rolls here are the same concept as the ones you will find on the menu of their larger big box competitor, Chili’s to be exact, but, better with more of a spicy kick to them. Not too overpowering with the spiciness though and went very well with the beer. Their Cheddar-filled Jalapeños were as expected. They weren’t bad and they weren’t «great.» This dish, if you like spicy, were on the lighter side of dishes. Great option if you’re looking for something«not so filling.» Honestly? I didn’t find them«that» spicy. This, too, went very well with the beer. Which, brings me to the beer. Here, on this night, is when I found-out that Yuengling is my favorite beer. We were ordering pitcher after pitcher while here. I lost count of how many exactly. See, compared to other beers I’ve had, Yuengling gives you a nice buzz rather quickly. Yuengling is what I ask for first now when I go places. Used to be Fat Tire which, is also available here. Hell, I think every beer is available here. If not, it sure looks like it. Nope, I didn’t forget about the Chicken Wings. I’m just leaving them for last because they deserve their own paragraph on this Unilocal the same way they are listed independently on their menu. Available small, ten pieces or, large, 20 pieces. We obviously went with the large. Full of meat and perfect in every bite. We ordered ours mild since not everyone at my table was a fan of spicy. These are one of the best Chicken WIngs I’ve had out there. Yeah, I’m a fan of this pub and will be back in the future. Hopefully, to see my friend’s band, #FishingWithFredo, perform again. They are GREAT if you’re a fan of Santana and the likes of that style of music. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Parking — This pub is located in a strip mall with LOTS of parking spaces. Finding a spot«shouldn’t» be a problem when coming here. * This pub is dog friendly. In their outside sitting area which, is very open and nice, I saw two patrons with their dog sitting there enjoying their beer. We were having great weather to be outside that night. After going on their website, YUP, they encourage people to bring their dog. Very nice touch. * I also noticed on their website, they offer discounts to students of the nearby Nova Southeastern University. This university is literally down the street from this pub. * For being so close to an university on a Saturday night, the crowd here is very diverse as far as ages are concerned. I wasn’t the oldest one here. Just something to note. * Why not a fifth star? Well, although we were very well attended to, from walking around here and there gathering information for this Unilocal, not everyone was. This pub is understaffed. It wasn’t too bad, though but, for a Saturday night on Valentine’s Day, they were understaffed. * Special THANKS to The Dellutri Family for owning and running such a great local place. #KeepItLocal
