Aggie Ace

I am from out of town. When I discovered that I was missing a crucial component for my rooftop carrier, Aggie Ace came to our rescue. I went into the store with some of the components and described what was missing to a store manager. She understood very quickly exactly what I needed and patiently identified the exact size needed in order to replace the piece I was missing.
If you need the best customer service in the world for your hardware needs, skip the big superstores and get personalized service at Aggie Ace.

I’ve been to this Ace Hardware twice now. Both times I went I was greeted by their friendly staff who went out of their way to help me find what I needed. I was very surprised at the selection they have in such a small place. No problem finding a place parking on that end of the shopping center either. I plan to continue to shop there.

Wow this place is great. I was so confused when I walked in and the clerk asked me if I needed help, then she proceeded to find me the exact nuts and bolts and all of the staff are just so friendly and helpful. I didn’t understand that she was really going to get the exact screws and bolts for me. I stayed for an extra 10 minutes looking around to see if I needed anything else just because the atmosphere there is awesome.

A clean, well-​lit hardware store! Love this place. It has a surprisingly robust inventory, and the service/​advice is fabulous. Particularly impressed with the manager, Ben. Key location in central/​north Davis. I just hope it doesn’t get too busy!

It’s amazing what can be found at this small satellite store. We expected it to have a very small selection of a minimal number of departments but they have garden, paint, plumbing, nuts and bolts, electrical, and so much more, all in a convenient location with plenty of free parking. Friendly staff too.

For anybody who lives in North Davis and doesn’t want to make the trek to the downtown Ace store, this Aggie Ace location is super convenient. It’s not in a noticeable location in Anderson Plaza since most of the foot traffic is on the Anderson Rd. side of the plaza. The first time I knew of this location was when I got a coupon in the mail for Aggie Ace but then accidentally went to the downtown Ace. Keep an eye out for deals in the mail!
The few times I have been here, the staff has always been friendly and engaging. Since the store is smaller than the downtown location, it almost feels like a mom and pop store. There’s also less of a crowd here so you can get in and get out quickly.

This store is not as vast as the downtown location but I like the easy in and out with parking and they have a courteous staff as usual.

Living in West Davis, I am thrilled that a lot of my hardware and paint needs are closer. Saves me time, mileage and the parking is so easy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. If they dont have what you need, they radio the downtown store to check for you, saving you a trip. Plus the grocery store is next door.

Although this is a tiny Ace, the workers are very nice and helpful. The parking here is definitely so much easier than the one downtown. If you live in West Davis, or North Davis, this is a great little store to get your hardware needs.

Aggie Ace is a satellite store for Davis Ace Hardware. In addition to Hibbert Lumber Davis now enjoys three good hardware stores.
This storefront used to be 49er Video. It makes an excellent hardware store location for the North Davis neighborhoods and is convenient for East and West Davis as well. More parking is available here than at the Davis Ace location downtown.
Aggie Ace is packed with a surprisingly good stock of items. You will find paint and painting supplies, paint tinting, and items for garden, electrical, plumbing, cleaning, and general household repair. Good basic supply of tools, fasteners and automotive products, too. There is more packed into this store than the storefront might suggest. Although the stock is not as large or as varied as Davis Ace I give Aggie Ace five stars for a hardware store of it’s size.
I live in North Davis and I can see myself traveling to Aggie Ace instead of most of my trips to Davis Ace.
Service is attentive and expert, just like Davis Ace.

Their friendly, helpful staff from the downtown location extends to this little store. Went here because I was moving and I needed stuff… as expected we were directed in the right direction by their helpful staff. I always got my keys copied at the downtown Ace location but now I can go here!

Great little location; I saw the ENORMOUS red balloon and all these banners and got attracted to it immediately since I brought up as a child in a carnival but was disappointed it wasn’t a carnival once I got closer. until I walked in!
It has a ton of stuff crammed into such a small location (compared to their Downtown location in Davis) but I was happy to see all the essentials I needed and since it was the Grand Opening celebration today, I was able to use their $ 10 off $ 20 coupon and picked up some light bulbs and a hammer (not to be used together) that I needed for the apartment for quite the deal!
Overall, I’m glad I popped over there to check it out and all the employee’s were quite nice to me as well. I personally wouldn’t go there since it’s across town from me and the Downtown location is much larger and closer in distance from my apartment but if I’m in the area and need anything I would suggest going there since it has a ton of stuff grocery stores won’t have (obviously).

There was a lot more in here than I expected. No more having to go to busy downtown for little things for fixing up the home anymore!
We were able to get drill bits we needed, and some gardening tools. Aggie Ace had stuff for gardening, common tools and accessories you would need for fixing up your home or apartment, and some organizing solutions such as the plastic storage totes and over the door hanging stuff. I love that it had all the little things I usually look for all in one convenient spot for those of us who live in West and North Davis.

The key to this store is location. Davis’ hardware stores are exclusively ACE stores which isn’t a positive or a negative, but it was about time you didn’t have to go to downtown Davis to get simple items when living in North Davis.
This Ace provides the departments in hardware, electrical, plumbing, paint, garden tools, pesticides/​fertilizers, and key cutting. Everything you need for living in an apartment really.
4 stars for the location and being the only hardware store selection in town.
