Guys. You can not advertise Flights of beer if you do not have the glasses to give to. your customer. I give you a one star rating because you have good beer. I will never be back.

Seems like place going downhill. Bad pasta… no ice… Wifi not working. At least Warrior game was on.

This place is awesome! Best customer service with the new owner, great selection of beers on Draught and excellent food! Highly recommended. They offer a great variety of excellent food items on the menu and have great craft beers as well. We will be back more often than we thought. They also deliver and can accommodate little to large crowds. You can also host your next special event here and watch sports as they have TVs.

An hour and a half for delivery four blocks away. They told me 40 minutes. I would have walked had I known. I like their pizza, but it’s expensive.

A bit disappointing since a new owner took over. When I went the salad bar wasn’t very well stocked; the lettuce looked old, they were out of beets and couldn’t replace the container since they«didn’t have any prepped,» the ranch was empty until another customer asked if it could be refilled. I also order cheesy breadsticks and even asked for extra cheese– what I got was dry looking crumbly sticks… with SOME cheese on it. The only upgrade this new owner brought was a fancy soda machine. :/

So me and my friends popped into here on Picnic Day since the lines were around the block for many of the places that we had walked by. We’re older and have been through many Picnic Day festivities to know that unless we’re trying to get blitzed or something, there isn’t a reason to brave the lines with every other 21 to mid 20’s patron in the city. That we can do in the privacy of someone’s place without having to gamble on a bar having any seating at all. The service here seems quick and friendly. Nothing crazy as far as attentiveness, but I think much of the business is designed that you get/refill your drinks by the counter, you go and order, and the food is about the only thing brought over to you at the table. I am basing this entirely on the experience since we didn’t really order the food. I had brought over sammiches from the East Coast to feed the group. Still munched on them today cuz those things were huge. Anyway, I’m getting off topic… The weather had just gotten hot though and there was seating available outside. The beer selection here is nice with many different types on tap so you should be able to find at least one or two that you like. The shaded area outside was good though a bit tiny, fit perfectly with how the weather was for the day. It is also the slightest bit off of the beaten path. Most of the mainstream bars and places to hole in specifically for drinking are between 1st and 3rd so although there was some rambunctious drunks wandering by it paled in comparison to how it was on the main streets. It was great to be able to relax here for a bit and get away from the crowds for a while. Given the price of the pizza, I’m not sure I would come back for food but as the weather gets warmer I would keep that outside patio in mind just in case.

Decided to try this place out and I’m really disappointed. The wings were really moist and had little sauce on them. I also got a philly cheese steak and it was DRENCHED in grease. Wouldn’t recommend.

Moistest wings I’ve ever had, to the point of being essentially gelatinous buffalo slime. Good thing I couldn’t see them, on the patio lit like Buffalo Bill’s prisoner well in Silence of the Lambs. Props to them for comping the meal in full even while insisting they were safe and«fully cooked when they get to us».

I hadn’t gone there for awhile but decided to drop in today for take out. It’s under new ownership and you can really tell. New TV’s, cleaner restaurant, and better service. The food was on point. I ordered a lg half combo half garlic chicken, wings, and bread sticks. While waiting for my order, I tried their salad bar. Everything was fresh, I really like the fact they have apples and sprouts as part of the salad bar. The girl helping me was super friendly and made sure to ask me if I needed anything else while I was waiting. Sure enough took the food home and the family was super happy with Steve’s pizza. I will be coming back soon.

This review isn’t even about their pizza, which in its own right is amazing and you can scan other reviews going more into detail. Rather, it’s their other menu options that warrant the 5 star rating. Particularly, their sliders! Those two mini-burgers are priced as a steal for how juicy, and well made they are. I always get the Mushroom Swiss sliders and I have yet to walk away disappointed by either taste or hunger fulfillment. I haven’t had sliders this good outside of Berkeley. It’s a real treat that they offer these in addition to their pizza offerings.

This place is fairly quiet but don’t let that fool you because the space inside is pretty big. There’s a little games room, an outside patio, the main dining area, and the sports area. What I love about this place is that you can actually have a conversation and even study without sports blaring onscreen like at Lamppost. Yes, I said it. I’m not a sports fan. Salad bar is cool but not AYCE(aka no seconds). I like their vegetarian pizza but for some reason it was on the sweet side. Must be the olives. 10% student discount with student ID.

Amazing! I’m originally from Davis but moved away and I almost always grab a pizza or breadsticks when I’m in town. Their crust is to die for! And the breadsticks(don’t get me started! I could go on and on) lets just say they’re an all time favorite. Nothing compares. They’re salad bar is also pretty amazing. The prices are steeper than I’d like but for the quality of food it’s so worth it.

I never knew this place existed until I had to come here to have a quick birthday dinner. My sister loves to plan things last minute, and this was the only place that could hold about 20 people with such late notice. We came in with our huge party, and they sat us all. You go to the front window to order and you sit down and wait. I think the service is super friendly, but overall the food is mediocre. I tried their pizza, their pasta, and their sandwiches(I tasted a little bit of everyone’s food), and nothing was impressive… Everything was okay at most. I wouldn’t come back here for food, but then again I don’t think I would have ever come here in the first place if it wasn’t for the last minute planning. I think the people that work there are super friendly, but i can’t justify going someplace just because there are friendly people. There’s one huge plus: they have a cool soda machine! But that wouldn’t really justify coming back here either.

As I child this was THE go to spot for pizza in Davis. That was over 30yrs ago. I went to school with Steves son Mark. We would frequent this spot as kids on weekends and I think a pizza back then was about $ 9. Oh it was so good. Years past and I know Steves franchised out and the others never quite stood up to the original on a consistent basis. But no matter. I always wanted to support a local business. I was in Davis the other day and had to stop in and give it a try again. First things first. This place hasn’t changed at all in over 20yrs. I was hoping to see some contemporary updates. They even still had a galaga arcade game! I will give them credit for having a fancy new soda machine. But other than that I was sad that a little updating hadn’t been done. I’m now 40 and it was the same as I remember from when I was16. No matter. The pizza was what I wanted. I ordered a simple pepperoni pie just like I always used to get. And I will say it was EXCELLENT. it’s was exactly how I remembered it. I never came to Steves for anything other than pizza because that’s what they did best. Thanks for bringing back the original. It was delicious and the next time I’m in Davis I’ll be stopping in.

Anytime I’m in the area I HAVE to get this pizza! I love the crust, cheese bread, and quality. A big plus is on those warm nights, being able to enjoy a PBR pitcher on the patio, and having my dog there too.

HAVEAGAIN: the bacon beef slider I had on a Thursday was utterly fantastic! Wow! NOTHAVEAGAIN: the bacon beef slider I had 3 days later was utterly unappealing — too salty or too much sauce or something was wrong. What happened? HAVEAGAIN: the small, single-serving salad bar continues to be fantastic. One of the great bargains in Davis, for just $ 3.99.

Ordered Steve’s pizza today for a department event, must say i was pretty disappointed with the service. I had asked for the pizza’s, salads, and waters to be delivered to the UC Davis campus at 12:45 pm, for an event that was set to begin at 1:10pm on the dot. 1pm comes around and nothing, no pizza guy, I call Steve’s pizza asking where our delivery is and the person who answers responds they just left at 12:45pm to delivery your food. I immediately say well that’s not good, because he needed to be here at 12:45pm to begin with… Well from there the pizza guy show’s up at 1:05pm with everything but my water bottles and salad dressing’s he indicates he’s running down stairs to get them from his car. So I wait for about 10 minutes and nothing, not to mention that by now my event has started and people are waiting around for the rest of the items. I finally call Steve’s Pizza asking them what happened to their delivery person he was supposed get the rest of my order from his car and never returned and here we are 20 minutes into our meeting and still missing half of my order. Turned out the guy drove back to Steve’s pizza without even mentioning that he would be back… All in all my order was 45 minutes late from the expected time of delivery, and the order was place that morning at 9:30am with an expected delivery time of 12:45pm. I will most likely stick with Cenarios pizza, at least they aren’t a rip off and will show up on time… And they still have the nerve to charge me the delivery fee, for their crappy service/delivery…

My wife and I like coming here for their lunch specials. The pizza is great and the salad bar is good but there has been a few times that it looked pretty bad. We also noticed that their kidney beans were spoiled they smelled and tasted off. We did bring to their attention. Besides that it’s not bad. We know double check our salad toppings.

I came here on a saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty. The service, wasn’t fast at all, we waited about 20 minutes for a large pizza. You’d think the pizza should have tasted at least decent if we had to wait that long. Nothing really much to talk about, just an average pizza joint. Price is moderate.

LOVE this pizza place! Their pizza is thicker than woodstocks and they sprinkle some cheddar on their pizzas. Personally, I enjoy their pizza more than woodstocks whose pizza sauce can be way too zesty(in a I am going to suffer bad gas way). When you order for delivery, there are really good coupons attached to the box like $ 4 off a $ 20 order and an XL pizza for $ 12.99. They will also have facebook promos every now and again to get a free pizza with the purchase of a particular item on their list. A cool thing about Steves is that they have a HAPPYHOUR! It is a small HH menu that includes sliders, chicken bites/wings, and cheesy bread sticks and are all in the $ 5-$ 6 range. My favorite is the cheesy bread since they give you about 8 sticks! They also have great spaghetti if you need a fix! It is also way yummier and cheaper than what you get at Caffe Italia

Good Since my family and I had pizza for dinner last night we didn’t order any pizza this time. Instead we had burgers, chicken nuggets and pasta. The setting reminds me of a Round Table so everything’s casual, the attire and ambience… they had a salad bar and a TV room and also a little arcade room. The weather outside was nice enough to eat on their patio seating which we did. The squirrels didn’t come near our table but they were around. I had the Pesto Chicken… there were hardly any chicken and just a few mushrooms, there were lots of penne pasta and artichoke hearts and tomatoes in basil pesto cream and topped with shredded Asiago cheese. It was good but I was looking for more grilled chicken breasts. My husband did enjoy his Grilled Chicken and Mushroom Melt. It had sauteed mushrooms and Provolone cheese, mayo, lettuce and Roma tomatoes. We will have to come back here for the pizza and that will be another separate review. I used a gift card for our meal but went over the card value. The cashier that tended to our order charged me the whole amount on my debit card and didn’t apply the gift card. Hope it gets fixed soon. I did call the restaurant and was told that the Manager caught it and will apply the credit. Street parking. We were lucky to find one with just a little bit of walking but not sure how it would be on a weekday as it is close to the University. They do deliver.

Steve’s Pizza is a great choice for pizza and pasta in Davis. Steve’s is definitely more ‘old school’ when it comes to the food. It is not fancy-schmancy or complicated. IT’S A PIZZAJOINT. And as a pizza joint, it is great. Steve’s offers a nice variety of pizzas, pasta, sides, and a salad bar. The pizza at Steve’s is straight up what you would think a ‘standard’ pizza should be… you can get all the standard toppings(nothing really exotic), the dough isn’t too thick or too thin, and price-wise it hits in the middle(maybe upper-middle) of the pack. If you’re going to Steve’s, you’re most likely looking to eat pizza. As I just mentioned, Steve’s offers up all the traditional pizza toppings in a variety of combinations or you can make your own up. I’m a fan of the Original Steve’s Combo as it is very balanced between fresh veggies and tasty meats. For those of you who enjoy non-meat pizzas, the all veggie pizza is quite good. My favorite item on it has to be the large slices of tomatoes on it. Super flavorful! The pizza crust is great. I actually prefer a thinner crust pizza(because I feel thick crust gets you too full too fast), but Steve’s pizza crust is in that sweet spot that hits the ‘just right’ mark. It’s soft, a little doughy(in a good way), and not hard labor to eat. Besides the pizzas, I would recommend the pasta dishes. I was surprised at how good they were the first time I had them. The spaghetti and meatballs come with three large sized meatballs. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a pasta dish if you go to Steve’s. Steve’s falls short in a couple areas for me. The first area is the breadsticks. I usually go crazy for pizza place breadsticks… but these are flabby and a bit oily tasting. I would just skip this and wait for the pizza to come out. The other area is the salad bar. The salad bar seems to be stuck in the past. The ingredients there are small in number, and the entire thing just doesn’t look too fresh. There are a few highlights in the salad bar(CROUTONS!), but not enough to really warrant getting it. If you’re going to go to Steve’s, besides giving the pizza a try, go for some pasta too! Steve’s is a great choice for pizza in Davis. I would say it is one of my top three places for pizza locally!
