AA Wok

They’re food is delicious and deserves 5 stars but their delivery man is awful and is why I will never go back. One time, he yelled at me for the wrong city being written in my address even though I gave my right city and when I tried to explain he said «Stop. You have wasted enough of my time.» Another time he asked me why I was wearing the clothes I was wearing and if I went to work that day. And today I was sitting at home waiting for delivery and I heard him knock. I started walking downstairs to the front door and he walked in before I got there. He walked in to my front door without anyone answering it. He opened it and said «Hello, why didn’t you open the door.» He is the rudest person I’ve ever met and he will never get my business again.

I realize 5 stars is kind of a lot BUT they are just great! Dayton, KY doesn’t have a lot a restaurants & AA Wok is a gem! The family seems so nice and I have really enjoyed watching the young man who works the counter grow up! Other reviewers have mentioned his lacking customer service skills, but I blame adolescence combined with working with his mom & dad since he was about 10. The food is consistently delicious with super speedy delivery times. They are on my speed dial!

I am rating AA Wok 4 stars based on price and quantity of food. A medium order can easily feed two people. I like AA Wok when I want some fast and greasy american chinese food. Most dishes I have recieved have hardly any vegatbles, just a ton of chicken and rice, which is my preference. My fiancé isn’t a huge fan because she prefers more of the veggies, so it is kind of what you prefer and what mood you are in. The food itself isn’t I ordered online and paid in store with no problems. When calling in an order their customer service is slim to none but it has always worked.

They deserve 4 stars for the quick delivery, and the food was hot and good for the price. The quantity is good. They didn’t pick the call at first but they called us back in short time to take the order. They customised the food as requested. Never been to the restaurant in person but for delivery the service they provide was very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for delivery especially during winter where you can have your hot good food sitting in the couch for the decent price.

The food is fresh and hot and it is the best Chinese I have had in quite some time. I recommend it to anyone. And they speak English! And for the smokers they offer smoking and nonsmoker booths pretty cool I think cause you don’t see that these days

Most importantly AA Wok will deliver to my house when I’m too lazy to put on shoes and walk down the street to pick up my order. They get at least 2 stars for enabling my lazy.
Regarding the food… Well, I’ve never once gotten anything terrible from AA Wok! But on the flip side I’ve never once gotten anything stellar either. It’s consistently average. Which may be exactly what you’re looking for with your General Tso order.
But with a little work on their crab rangoon or a few tweaks to their lo mein they could easily be bumped up to 4 stars!

It’s your typical corner Chinese restaurant that is great for carry out. Small restaurant, 2 tables. It’s a clutch spot to grab some grub, and the family that runs it seems to be pretty nice to boot.
I’m writing this review as I munch on curry tofu from AA Wok, so you know this review is spot on. The curry isn’t over baring, just the right amount and the dish is filled with carrots, baby corn, and what appears to be squash.
The portion sizes are either «medium or large», which, well frankly doesn’t make any sense. It’s either large or small if those are your only two options. But I digress.
The hot and sour soup is very tasty, and at $ 3 for a Large, it’s well priced.
Within walking distance of my kitchen, AA Wok will get my business again in the future.
