Air conditioning always goes out at the worst time, it’s been consistently in the mid to upper 90s with near 100% humidity, of course my air is going to die on me now! I called one company and they quoted me $ 2600.00 for a new compressor which wasn’t really outrageous but I wanted another opinion and options. Airchanics came as a recommendation from a friend who said they would give me the options I was looking for and would most likely save me money, no brainer to call them!
John, the owner of Airchanics came right out and re-​checked everything to make sure the compressor was indeed beyond repair, his opinion was that it did need to be replaced. Throughout this process John was very personable and explained what he was doing, knowing nothing about HVAC I very much appreciated this. He asked what my goal was, did I want a new unit and pay the 2000.00 or did I want a refurbished /​used unit for way less than half the price installed, I like options! Since we don’t plan on staying in this house for the next 5 – 10 years I went with the used option and saved a ton of money.
John was able to get a crew out within hours to hook up the new (to us) unit and our house is now beginning to feel much cooler and my bank account isn’t as light as it could have been!
I will call Airchanics in the future for any HVAC issues that arise, they’re earned my business for life!
