Watch the video of them calling me stupid because I asked them to fix an order they messed up. I have 20 minutes of footage of them harassing me and calling me a stupid american.

Now, I know I can’t be too picky when it comes to Chinese food in Ohio– or really, any Asian food in Ohio, for that matter. A lot of it really misses the mark. This place is no exception.
I’ll start with some pros. First of all, this is literally the ONLY Chinese food place I have seen in my area that accepts online ordering. I am one of «those» people who would literally rather cut off my arm than have to talk on the phone, so if a take out place doesn’t offer online ordering, I’m not eating there. Fortunately, most restaurants in recent years have been wise enough to add this feature; Asian take-​out, not so much. Second, they also offer their entire menu– including prices!– online as well. So not only do I get to order without ever making a phone call, but I also don’t have to wait for them to obnoxiously bombard my doorknob with menus! That’s pretty awesome and I wish more Chinese places would adopt this strategy.
The downside? The food is mediocre at best and disgusting at worse. Here are some examples:
— I ordered a Four Seasons Chef’s Suggestion that was so watery that I had to drain it before I could eat it. I don’t know about you, but I don’t exactly enjoy spilling water masquerading as sauce all over me every time I go to take a bite.
— I have never eaten General Tsos with less spice in my entire life. It is bland and tasteless.
— The rice tastes like it was cooked a week ago, frozen, and then thawed in the microwave. I actually really like white rice but I won’t eat theirs because it tastes awful.
— The dumplings are very hit or miss. Sometimes they are decent, other times they are so overcooked that they feel gummy in my mouth.
Based on the food alone, I would gladly give the place only one star. However, I cannot deny that I love the online ordering and putting the full menu online, so for that reason, I’ll bump it up a star.

Good place for basic Chinese carryout. Food is standard fare for this type of place. Service is fast, and usually friendly.
I’ve noticed them being short on the phone with customers, but meh, that doesn’t faze me. Get the order, get it out the door. They do that well enough.
Set your expectations in the right place and enjoy your meal.

Really good food and they deliver, great prices. When you’re in retail and and always on the run this is perfect. You all rock!!!

Not very good. The food is just gross. I’ve ordered shrimp fried rice and it was bland and tasteless. What’s up with the yellow rice doesn’t taste good. My girlfriend ordered from there once last week and took one bite of her food and the rest went in the trash.

Bought carry out large size hot & sour soup recently. It was not very good. Too vinegary with almost no hot flavor. Vegetables in it were undercooked. Price was OK at $ 3.50, but not a bargain, given poor quality. May give it one more try, but if not improved, I will avoid this place. Never had this problem at Hunan House in Miamisburg.

I love this place!
It is somewhat difficult to find a Chinese restaurant that has amazing food and is cheap — don’t get me wrong I adore China Cottage but when I want to binge eat and watch bad movies, nothing can beat the prices of China 1.
Their online ordering is perfect — since I tend to get weirdly nervous trying to call in a order (I hate the pressure!). Definitely worth a try — the cashew chicken is delicious.

Terrific little carryout and delivery place. Food is good and reasonably priced and delivery is very fast. Love the wonton and egg drop soup mixed.

This is a great little corner Chinese restaurant. It is delicious, and they deliver!
