All I gotta say is: you get what you pay for. Hot n sour soup is bland, chicken wings taste like cat scrotums, sushi is tough, shoulda just gone to McDonald’s

We visited when it was very busy, which usually means a good rotation of food, but all of my food was cold. Frog logs were terrible. Black pepper chicken, honey chicken, crab Rangoon, all soggy. This place is terrible. The waitress never brought me a refill, despite looking at and clearing off our table of(almost full) plates of nasty food. Would give zero stars if I could.

I would not even give it one star, but that’s the lowest. Usually I can find something I like on a buffet. This one, epic fail.

I am a fan of Chinese buffets, and I rarely meet one I don’t like. That being said, save your time, money and stomach, and avoid this one. The price is reasonable, and the wait staff was friendly, but the food is downright inedible. We visited during a peak hour, so plenty of food was available and it appeared to be fresh, but it was bland and there wasn’t a very good variety. It was so bad we paid and went to lunch elsewhere.

Yes it looks pretty homely on the outside, and the inside is not much better. Who cares? What really matters is the food. Like any Chinese buffet, be there during peak hours if you want hot, fresh food. The offerings are the usual fare, but quality is slightly better than average in the area. If you like crab legs, prepare to engage in hand to hand combat at times. People seem to think it is kosher to take the whole pan when they bring it out. They seem to keep up with demand a lot better than most Asian buffets, and have a decent hibachi. Don’t come here looking to eat sushi, it is the usual pre-made stuff that sits a while. All things considered, it is a decent place. The food it hot, and the waitresses are friendly. Just don’t expect authentic cuisine.

Food is mediocre at best. I had the worst piece of sushi that I have ever tasted in my life, it was a piece of salmon… I’m not sure what was going on, but there was a terrible biting citrusy flavor, like it was sprayed with cleaner. Disgusting… Other than the sushi though, everything else was ok…

How does a china buffet get 4.5 stars? The Mac should always be 2. Just on principle.

Selection is ok, but quality is not that great. I never expect much from a Chinese buffet, but this place hit below even those low expectations.

Don’t let the outside fool you, the inside has a nice atmosphere. My boyfriend and I have been looking for a good chinese buffet in the Dayton, Ohio area for quite some time. We thought we found a decent one and would keep going back to that one… until now. This China Buffet would have to be the best chinese buffet I have ever been to. There is a great deal of variety. Everything that I had was very flavorful. They have soup, sushi, hibachi, crab legs for dinner, and of course all the classic chinese fare with some new ones I have never had before. The service was excellent. It was dinner rush and they still would fill our drinks after every few sips we would take. The most impressive thing was every waitress knew our drink order and everyone was filling up drinks correctly every time. Overall, we have found our chinese buffet in the Dayton, Ohio area. We will be back every chance we get!

So my girlfriend and I were lookin’ for a new chinese spot. We found a coupon for the China Buffet advertised as ‘Grand Reopening’ so we decided to give it a shot. I’m not going to lie, when we first pulled up to the restaurant, I was a bit put off by the outside of the building. Not knowing what to expect, we proceeded to go inside. As we passed the buffet, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and selection of the food as we were seated. I normally benchmark my chinese buffets by the hot and sour soup — and here it was quite good as compared to most other places I have been to. Definitely a step up above the rest. As I sampled a variety of other foods, I was more and more impressed that everything seemed to be ‘a step up’ from the normal place we used to go. We both agreed this was now our new favorite chinese buffet in the Dayton area. I recommend the egg rolls for sure — other places they are too greasy/thick breading… they seem to cook them perfect here, and the breading seems just right.

Quick and plentiful. I’ll go when I am in a hurry. As buffet’s go, it’s fine, but it’s more of a feeding station than a restaurant.

FINALLY a buffet with Sushi on it. Excellent lunch buffet. They have several types of shrimp, and a large variety of other items. They have snow crab on the dinner and Sunday lunch buffet. It is priced lower than a similar buffet, so I think this will be our regular buffet hangout. The variety is incredible and the food is delicious.
