Wish I could do a 4.5 star rating Room was fine. Up to Hampton standard for sure. Gym actually sucks. One tread mill and one bike. Don’t forget the weight balls. Least I could do was watch an episode of Seinfield while taking a run. I have stayed here three times in last 9 months for work. Will be hitting the pool in an and to my quick looks tonight it looks fine. It is great to be a diamond level member at any hilton property

Staying here October 25th2014. We are with a large group of soccer girls for the Warriors tournament. Room very clean with great amenities. Girls are having a blast in the pool. I want to give a shout out to the young man working the front desk. He has worked tirelessly to keep areas clean and our stay very enjoyable. Will stay here again when are in Huber Heights

I came in and the staff told me that no AAA rate… I then go online and find the AAA rate. The staff did not give us the gold member welcome product so that a another poor job. My bed left my back sore and the breakfast was behind bad. This may have been the worst Hampton inn that I have said at for customer service.

I was only here for one night, but overall, I was happy. One of the best points of this hotel is its great location. In addition to literally being right off the highway, it is within easy walking distance of many restaurants, five of which neighbor the hotel in fact, and several retail stores. The hotel looks new inside and out, and the room I was in was spotless. My room provided two queen beds, a large desk, a refrigerator, a decent sized bathroom, and a smaller LCDTV, albeit with SD programming. A complimentary breakfast was also included with the price, which included breakfast staples such as a variety of cereals, omelets, waffles, fruits, bacon, and coffee, to name a few. The only major con of this establishment, as also reported by others, was the abysmally slow Wi-FI. While free, I expected the service to live up to its high speed title, which it certainly did not. A few speed tests showed I was downloading at a painful 300kbps on average. Forget about doing anything bandwidth intensive, such as watching streaming videos, or video chatting. The service appears to be run and managed by AT&T, so that would explain the terrible service. Beyond that though, I was happy as said, and would certainly stay here again in the future.

Hampton Inns are a great addition to the American Interstates. Whereas in the past you had to take your chances with Best Westerns and Super 8’s that had varying quality from location to location; at Hampton’s I know what to expect each time and that every hotel will have the same level of quality. I am glad to see that there are more and more Hampton locations nationwide along rural highways for this reason. The Hampton in Huber Heights however had one small drawback that didn’t fall in line with Hampton experiences that I have had in the past, ridiculously slow internet. For me, Free High Speed Internet is the most important feature to have in a hotel besides the bed and shower. Making sure I wasn’t being fussy as I am accustomed to the fastest internet possible at home I ran a speed test on the connect. The result came back at .3 mbps! Terrible. I had to wait 5 minutes to watch a 2 minute Youtube video. Beside the slow internet, my experience was typical Hampton excellence. This hotel is conveniently located right off I-70 making it easy to get on and off. Also, it is in a built up area so there are stores and restaurants nearby. The internet is the only drawback of this hotel(and perhaps it was a one time fluke) but overall a nice, comfortable and clean location.
