Seriously, save yourself the trouble and shop at Lowes or Home Depot. The customer service reps have NO idea what they are talking about, especially you Jeremy. Waited 3 hours to buy appliances, and was told we would have to come back the next day. The manager, Jordan, got an attitude and was of ZERO help. Went back the next day, all was well. UNTIL delivery. Apparently we didn’t pay for installation, even though JEREMY told us that everything would be installed, but hey, this wasn’t the first time he had no idea what he was talking about. I am so frustrated at this entire situation. My dog could do a better job at selling appliances. It was THEWORST experience I have had a store of any type.

Horrible salesmanship! My husband and I purchased three Whirlpool appliances expecting a $ 200 rebate for the bundle package deal. Our dishwasher was on backorder for a month. During that time hh gregg billed us for all three appliances. I called the bank right away to explain we have not received our dishwasher therefore I’m not paying for it. The bank explained I had to call hh gregg to resolve this matter. Of course! There is no such thing as customer service anymore… I called hh gregg and miraculously they delivered our dishwasher couple of days later. I guess they forgot to call us to let us know our dishwasher was ready for delivery. After receiving the dishwasher I inputted the required serial numbers for the rebate. Surprise surprise my initial submission of the first two appliances’ serial numbers could not be found in the whirlpool system. I called customer service stating my application for the rebate could not be found through their website. I was told I cannot apply for the rebate because I am over the due date. Really??? I explained I received my third appliance late and my initial submission could not be found. Whirlpool said there is nothing they could do about it. To me, whirlpool and hhgregg were in partnership to ensure customers do not receive the promised rebates! We will no longer purchase anything from any hhgregg or any whirlpool appliances ever again. We will not support companies that think it’s ok to treat customers so horribly.

We have purchased a washer/dryer set, 60″ Sony tv and a 24″ off brand tv from this store in the past 4 – 5 years. Our Sony tv died after 3 yrs 10 months. Wife purchased a 60“Samsung on line after learning Sony replacement power boards are in big demand and short supply. I go t o pick up the new Samsung and learn it doesnt have sufficirnt HDMI inputs. So i go home and do a little more research and decide the next 60″ model up will meet our needs for S200 more. I return to the store the next day to purchase that tv. I am told that I need to call an 800 number to cancel the internet order. Apparently they can’t do that. FOURHOURSONHOLD!!! Wife made 3 attempts and i made 2 attempts and we spent more than four hours on hold. I did get through once and after explaining our situation to a pee on was transfered to a manager and got cut off. Imagine that! They had our invoice number with our phone number, do you think they would call us back? Of course not. So i go back to the store, and except delivery of the first tv and immediately return it for a refund on our credit card. They offer to price match on the next model up which will save me $ 100AND give me a rebate gift card for another $ 100. GREAT. Not so fast… we have to complete and mail in a form for the rebate gift card and it is only good at HH Gregg. So at home filling out their form and reading the fine print we learn that after lowering the price to meet the competition we only qualify or a $ 50 rebate. So i reluctantly go to the manager who says it was an honest mistske. I WASTOLD I WOULDGET $ 100. SO I CAN’T EVENTAKETHEWORDOFYOUSALESMAN. AM I BUYING A USEDCAR? THAT’S IT! I AMDONEWITHHHGREGG! ANDIFANYBODYREADSTHISANDDECIDESTOJOINMEINTAKINGTHEIRBUSINESSELSEWHERE I WOULDLOVETOSHAKEYOUHAND. SEEYOUTHERE.

HH Gregg are either packed or empty. This one was empty and it’s directly east of a restaurant, so you might not know it’s there unless you’re looking at it or at the adjacent Barnes & Noble. This time, this store was empty, except for maybe 7 employees. It’s a good sized store with many aisles full of front-loading washers and dryers. They had quite a selection of computers and audio and video items, along with the big selection of televisions. The sales people were friendly. Their prices are high off sale, reasonable on sale. Company wide, you need to pay by card. They do not return cash, and you’ll have to wait weeks for a check to arrive.

HH Greggs always seem a little trashy to me. I mean, their prices are great, and the product is great, but the stores are dirty feeling. This location annoyed me. They had some washers that we wanted and so we asked about delivery to columbus. They didn’t even say they would ask, or it would be more, just told us no. I was surprised because I would think they would at least check with a manager. We were willing to pay extra for the long trip. Oh well!
