Good food for a local restaurant. We are from out of town and Unilocal helped us find this great patio.

I have been here a few times. The sandwiches and soups are delicious. Made fresh to order. Never soggy bread, and the soup was made from scratch. The gumbo is also good.

Delicious food. Fish tacos, grilled veggies and the garlic dressing from Dr Salida’s Salad is fantastic! Nice ambience, very laid back. Cool historic building and our waitress was adorable.

This is a very fun restaurant to go to in Dayton! The building is adorable inside and out, even the restrooms! Haha! There are many different types of beer to try and lots of amazing foods to choose from! I would recommend sharing the Paisano Pasta Chips appetizer with friends! They are heavenly!

Food was delicious! This neat old firehouse has a great ambiance. A little loud which makes it hard to hear. But overall a good place to go.

Love this setting in the old fire house. Basically sports grille type food. I enjoyed my philly. This restaurant is exactly what you would hope it to be. Good service as well.

Just awesome. The calamari was perfect, the bartender was exceptional, the sandwiches were great, and the prices were right on point.

Get the Bitz. That’s all you need to know. Food is excellent, good beer selection, friendly staff. My buddies and I attended UD and we spent many Friday evenings at this establishment for family meals. But if you go to Jimmy’s Ladder 11 without getting the pretzel bitz, you screwed up. If I won the lottery, I’d spend half of my winnings to have the Bitz available at all times. They are wonderful.

Have been dying to use any excuse possible to dine at Ladder 11. Good atmosphere and the food was on point. Greatly disappointed in how first responders a.k.a. Firefighters are not given a minor discount. It almost appears like false advertising. It is located in a historical Fire Station, it is assumed that there is some association with Firefighters but yet there is none. I doubt the business would have the same patronage if they were just call Jimmy’s like when it was located across the street. Maybe it was just this Firefighter who was visiting that they denied a discount but Firefighters don’t be fooled this restaurant is not Firefighter friendly.

I have no idea how this place has 4 stars. Maybe just because Dayton has so few decent restaurants. We were forced to go here for Mother’s Day because we’re terrible people and forgot to make reservations at real restaurant. They had plenty of availability, which should tell you all you need to know. The prices were cheap but the food was barely edible. I would imagine this makes a much better bar than restaurant.

I’ve eaten here at least 8 times since it’s close to one of my accounts for work. Each time, I’ve had quick and friendly service. The building itself is neat since it’s an old fire station. On my most recent visit, we shared a ton of appetizers(there were 8 of us that ordered) and all were fabulous. One was an appetizer cheesecake that was to die for. The pasta chips were also delicious. My one coworker ordered the meatballs and they tasted homemade. The sweet potato fries are also great. I love the pizza there and well as the Greek quesadilla. If you want something on the healthier side, the black and bleu salad is a solid option, though some of my coworkers said it’s a little small. Make sure to get w cookie afterwards too! Our waiter warmed them up for us and they were amazing! One night we were there, they had live music on the stage. Great, casual, fun local spot!

Love the building, love the set up! I enjoy local, family owned joints. Fun place to eat, great band playing. Although, I must admit, the music make for a loud experience. The upstairs is very nostalgical… They kept all the old Jimmie’s Cornerstone Bar & Grille stuff. I would love to have an event upstairs. I love it that they kept as much of the original firehouse as possible. The BBQ Pizza was outstanding. I would like to go back, my co-worker had a very good looking chicken tender salad and there are a lot of menu items that sound awesome.

This was my first time here. Overall I was impressed from the minute I walked in the door. It has a pleasant pub feel and the tables are well-placed throughout the space. Their menu is very eclectic and has something for everyone including vegetarians. I had a Greek Quesadilla. A very unusual combination of traditional cheeses and feta served with tziziki and salsa. I loved it. The service was very sufficient and our server very attentive. I would definitely make a return visit.

My first thought: what a neat set up for a restaurant. The old school fire station pictures were also a nice touch. We were seated as soon as we walked in and didn’t spend much time deciding on our drink orders. I had to drive back home today, so I got water. I glanced at their beer menu for future reference, but they didn’t offer anything too terribly interesting. I ordered their soup of the day(chowder) and a salad. The soup was decent, but not spectacular. I feel like most places over salt soups to compensate for flavor. My salad was sectioned off, which I found interesting. I suppose their intention was for you to mix it up the way you like it. Honestly, I was just thankful iceberg lettuce wasn’t part of the equation. I was also surprised to see pineapple and cottage cheese as part of the description. It sounds weird, but it really worked. All the flavors came together quite nicely. Our server was VERY attentive. My water glass never even came close to being empty(a big pet peeve of mine). Overall, we were all content with our experience at Jimmie’s Ladder 11 and would definitely return.

Jimmie’s had my best friend’s election party here where there was about 50 people who came and went throughout the night. I was super impressed on how they kept up with service and did so well. We had a $ 1,000 bar tab and that seemed more than plenty to accommodate the entire party including hor d’oeuvres. Those primarily consisted of different types of dips, thin crust pizzas, and wings. I did check out the menu and found it to be pretty lengthy too. The music they had that particular night was a swing band which I absolutely loved! We were placed upstairs and the music was hopping and carrying to the top. Between the music, the crowd there for my friend chatting, and the tvs it did get kind of noisy, but not the bad noisy — the kind of noisy that made the place just that more lively. We had a blast and my friend did get elected that night. I would definitely recommend this place for a group event for the future!

I personally prefer this… the new location to the tiny dive joint that was down the street. This is more family friendly and the food is very good. The last time I was their I had a blt with fried green tomatoes and loved it. I’d say everything I’ve order here us between good and very goid. I also like the firehouse décor. Cute little place. free parking in the back.

Had a chance to visit for dinner after the Dragon’s game last night, on a chance recommendation from the stadium staff. Was pretty busy, and it took a minute to be greeted, but the staff were warm and apologetic for the delay. I was flying solo, so decided to sit at the bar. I was quickly welcomed and given a drink and dinner menu. I decided on a local draft IPA and had the lasagna. The salad that came before the entrée was basic but fresh, with a tasty cucumber and sweet/tangy house dressing. The lasagna was great– the marinara was hearty and tangy, and the sausage was a great mild counterpart to the sauce. Quite filling for a main entrée, and a couple pieces of garlic bread made a nice way to sop up the left over sauce. Great balance of cheese, but not overly so. The lady tending bar was friendly but not overbearing, and seemed like the local crowd liked her. Overall, a great experience, and great food. Love having the chance to visit an old firehouse(I’m on the job in my hometown), and this was a definite pick. Thanks for making an out-of-towner feel welcome!
