I was pregnant and looking for a new OB in a brand new area — I was living between 2 states and looking for someone willing to work with me as I wouldn’t actually be in Ohio full time until I was 7 months pregnant. After talking to a lot OB offices, I learned many won’t accept you as a new patient after 16 weeks! I ended up interviewing 3 doctors willing to work with me, and settled on Dr. Kennenbeck. I made the right choice! Being pregnant and not working with the doctor who will delivery your baby the whole time is somewhat nerve wracking — but she is GREAT. She is very knowledgable and takes the time to answer as many questions as you have — I never felt rushed — even when I knew she was pressed for time with patients. She is prior military and very calm and collected, which is what I wanted in a Dr for the delivery of my 1st child. Her office is great, and worth the drive for me. My only complaint is the day I went into labor, she had been on call ALLNIGHT — so she ended up signing out before I really even started my delivery, so I ended up with another Dr. delivering my little girl. The Dr was not from her practice, but a «cooperating» Dr and while Dr. Kennenbeck assured me she trusted her — I was not a fan of this Dr at all. Wish I could have had a Dr from Far Hills. I saw Dr. John during my visits and he was great as well. Dr. Kennenbeck was back at the hospital the morning after my deilvery to check on me — and while I would have preferred to have her in the delivery room I would still recommend her services to anyone in the area.
