Renee is one of the best LMTs in the Dayton and surrounding areas. She’s educated and knowledgeable about the muscular system, more than most massage therapists. She takes the time to really listen to your concerns. I never feel rushed. I have been going to her for almost twenty years and there is no one better. Her office is centrally located and parking is convenient. She is an awesome person and I will go to her for massage as long as she continues to practice!

I have been to several licensed massage therapists — ones who practice individually, ones in spas, and ones in hotels. I have had different experiences. This woman knows her techniques, and is willing to do deep tissue. The first time I called her, I was particularly stressed out, and just made an appointment with her because she was nearby my home. I have particularly tense neck and shoulder muscles, more so than other computer workers. It’s noticeable. I told her that if it has to hurt to fix my muscles, that would be fine.(Sometimes in therapeutic massage, it has to hurt to work out the knots and set your muscles straight. You can tell the therapist that you don’t like that, and they’ll be gentle.) She did it, which was the first good thing she did. I have had people refuse to do anything that might be painful. I wind up frustrated and not helped as much as I could have been. She then worked on my neck and head for a while, found I wasn’t responding very well, then changed to a technique called passive kinetic awareness and movement for a bit. I felt so much better when I left than when I came in. I have had more appointments with her since, and she does what is best for me each time, and has done different things each time.
