I only ordered pretzels from Mama’s Caboose. If you’re going to buy something from this food truck, select something else. It took several minutes to get them and they were cold, dry and tasteless. In short, a waste of money as I discarded them after a couple of bites.
I will give Mama’s Caboose the benefit of the doubt and rate it two stars however, under the assumption that everything else they serve has to be better given other reviews.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly.

Went here this past Saturday it was parked at Three Brothers, after a few samples, I was hungry and readay to go. I had their Cheesesteak, Chicken Nachos, sampled the Rueben, and the brownie. All were excellent, far exceeded my expectations. I have been to 147 food trucks in the DC area, so I am always on the look out when I am out of town. I would have this one regularly if I was in Harrisonburg. Mama Caboose herself was very friendly and loves talking about her food if you have the time. She was on site from 12 – 10, long day, but had a smile on her face the whole time.

Great food, and great people. If you get a chance to meet up with this food truck do so and you will not be disappointed. The food was great and so was the service. I recommend this food truck to anyone and everyone who enjoys great quick food! BTW the cheese steak was amazing, try that with the bread pudding and there is NO WAY you can go wrong lol. ENJOY!

Was lucky enough to catch ‘the caboose’ at the Bluestone Vineyard (Bridgewater, VA) music event on Friday night. The wife and I both tried her meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Outrageously good, she tops them off with a sweet brown gravy that separates her dish from any other we’ve ever had.
