Over the course of the past three years, we have trusted NTB in Beavercreek with several important, emergency repairs, and unfortunately every time has resulted in a negative experience. I am a believer in a giving a business a few shots before reviewing or declining to return; however, at this point NTB has lost our business. Our first two experiences with NTB came in the form of emergency tire repairs. Our first repair was done well, but time was mismanaged and we wound up sitting there for several hours while the near empty garage attempted this basic patch job. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and were satisfied with the job. About a year later, we once again returned for a patch job, and this is where we experienced their true incompetence. Once again, forced to wait with an empty garage and no appointments, our tire was patched and we were sent on our way. What they managed to not do was re-attach our tire properly. Of course, about a week later the studs broke and my girlfriend was stranded during her commute. What could have been an incredibly unfortunate accident was averted by her quick thinking. Because of their incompetence, we spent hundreds on both car repairs and a rental. Despite their lack of skill, we returned once again for an oil change. They currently had the best price in the area, and our trusted establishment was booked. We made our appointment online and showed up at the appointed time, only to be forced to wait over an hour while nothing was done to our vehicle. We had told our initial customer service rep, that we knew about the issues with the car, and we just needed an oil change. Acknowledging this, they proceeded to lift the car, notice an oil pan plug they didn’t want to remove, and not tell us immediately. Now, our normal, trusted mechanic service is also a chain, and they have had no problems with the plug over the course of 10 to 15 oil changes. Despite our wishes, they proceed to inspect the car, with the knowledge they would not be able to do perform the requested service. They wasted a sizable chunk of our afternoon, when all we wanted was a quick oil change that hasn’t been a problem with other local companies(Midas, Pennzoil). In the end, I cannot in good conscience recommend NTB. While our initial rep was friendly, it is clear that its technicians do not care about the customer or their time. NTB is a company that clearly revels in customers who do not understand their vehicles and as such foists over-priced, under-qualified services on those who are ignorant to the facts.

NTB contacted me after a post to their FB page. They found my records, refunded my replacement tire purchase, and ensured my warranty was attached to my record. Very quick response and good resolution!

Monday, September 23rd, 2013 I brought my vehicle in for an inspection on the morning of August 28th, 2013. I was on my way back to San Jose, CA. I ran over some road debris early that day. I wanted piece-of-mind before driving the 2500-mile journey back home. What I encountered was nothing more than spectacular. The vehicle was gone over with a courtesy vehicle inspection. Tanner Jackson, Travis, Nick, Jeff, Steve, and others had helped me that morning. Their expertise and attention to detail enabled me to have a trouble-free drive back to CA. I wish to commend the entire staff of NTB Beavercreek for their due diligence, professionalism, and technical assistance in making my journey a safe and reliable adventure. The staff is honest, sincere, trustworthy, possess the highest integrity, and have the mechanical expertise and know-how to service any vehicle. Whenever I’m in the Beavercreek area, I will continue to patronize this company for that piece-of-mind assurance. They offer excellent service with a solid reputation second to none. They are an asset to the community. Thank you NTB !! Kenneth Chin San Jose, CA
