Everytime I come in here the girls are very rude the set your drinks on the counter when they are done and don’t say anything like how are we supposed to know if that’s our drink or not?! Especially the short res head chick very rude needs customer service training! The friendliest one there is Michael thank you for making a great barista! You’re the reason I keep coming back other wise I’d go somewhere else!!!

This Starbucks is filled with immature workers who are too busy talking about the debauchery of the night before instead of paying attention and acting professional with the customers. I wish Starbucks would set up a proportional drink making system so as to not leave the entire make of a drink left up to the typical lazy apathetic american service worker. Why is it that my latte tastes different every time depending on «who» makes it. A big mac tastes the same coast to coast but yet the baristas can make whatever concoction they want and just EYE this ingredient, that ingredient, etc. ridiculous and when you ask to have the drink remade they act all bothered and snotty. The replacement drink is never any better either. I end up just asking for my money and telling them they can keep their free drink cards. Its sad that Starbucks has to hand those out by the tens of thousands because their workers are so worthless. Whens the last time McD’s handed out free burger tickets cause they f*%k it up every time??? I hope these workers lose their jobs and are replaced by robots, maybe i can get a good drink and not just attitude all the time.

It is Dayton, so I am grateful to have a place to go with free wifi. This is Starbucks and there really are no surprises here. The baristas are a bit more casual(shall we say small town friendly?) than city Starbucks and somewhat uncertain on the process — it was a bit of a group effort. I have been here a few times and I have always been satisfied with my purchase so no complaints. I also try to time my visit when it is not crowded. The last time I went I got the Cinnamon Chia latte on ice. Wow. It was really good. I also got the Thai-Style Peanut Chicken Wrap. It comes in a little bistro box with is great for a to-go lunch. The spicy, fresh wrap comes with a very piquant peanut dipping sauce and a small bunch of grapes. Very tasty. And even though the portion was small, I found it very satisfying. It is a bit pricy — $ 10 in all for the drink and sandwich — but not outrageous for the quality of the ingredients. It is a nice alternative to the usual fast food.

This Starbucks has the BEST Barista’s! The friendliest, with their head on their shoulders, got their **it together, knows WHAT they’re doing, always makes it right or makes it over without guilt Staff! And to my surprise some of them are high school students! Credit and props go out to Shay, my, by FAR most favorite Barista who is only a Junior in high school yet smarter than a lot of adults I know! And also going out to Chris whom I’ve known forever and he rocks and does an awesome job brightening my day no matter what. The Sheriffs department lost out when they didn’t take you doll! Keep tryin! I will keep coming here for my DAILY habit of coffee because this is the only place who sees our vehicles and starts making my specialized drink and doesn’t mess it up! Thank you Shandlee, Shay, Chris, and all the other Dayton employees!!!

The plus side to corporate America… Consistent quality coffee with friendly prompt service every time. Small town people need a nice place to sit with a nice cup of coffee & free wifi

I left north Las Vegas at 8 am Sunday morning driving up I-95. Indian Springs, Amargosa, Beatty, Goldfield, Tonopah, Hawthorne, Fallon bypass, and then Dayton. Pulled into the Starbucks for a treat and caffeine, thanks for being there! Friendly staff and much needed refreshment.

This is one of the best stores I’ve been to. They are always friendly, usually get the order right and work very hard to keep everything clean, neat and friendly. My only dislike is that the music is usually so very loud that people who come in to relax and enjoy their coffee get hit with it. I find it hard to relax when it’s so darn loud. If you go in with a someone else its hard to have a conversation. That is the only thing I find uncomfortable about the atmosphere here.

I love Starbucks… just not this one. I ordered a blueberry oatmeal for breakfast. When I approached the window and was handed the blueberries, I noticed they were moldy. I told the barista and she said she would replace them. 8 minutes later, she came back with another moldy package of blueberries. The look on my face probably told her I was confused as to how she could possibly hand out moldy blueberries twice?! She apologized profusely and said she will get another. When she came back again, she handed me a package that had the top peeled off in the corner! I am assuming she took the moldy ones out and handed it back to me. Just shameful! When I confronted her on it, she became irritated and handed me a free drink coupon. I didn’t want a free drink! I wanted fresh blueberries! Is corporate that hard up that they don’t allow you baristas to throw out moldy food?! I think not! Have not been back since and I went there almost daily on my way to work for breakfast and tea.

Gold Star Member since 2008: What makes a good Starbucks — the customer service provided at a location. Of all the Starbucks I visit over 3 states, this Dayton location is the worst. When I order a ‘tux’, they correct me with ‘zebra’ or spotted cow. When I ask to ring up 2 items separately, they act irritated(I only ask when there is no line). There are a few friendly employees, the others are consistently lacking in customer service — I would rather drive 15 minutes to Carson City.
