L & L Hawaiian Barbeque

Love this place. Soooooo glad they brought to Dayton. Best food ever. Great service. Lock moco’ are the best.

So I gave this place another one star because Today I just got a called from the owner and I explained everything and he was very nice & aplogized about the issue. And I really appreciate the way he treated their customers and accepted & apologized. That’s the good way to keep the business good. Thank you
Wow sorry L&L I have to remove few stars because this restaurant screwed our order to go today.
My husband ordered the healthy garlic fish Fillet which supposed to come with brown rice & salad but he didn’t check when he left, thinking they won’t messed the orders.
At home we found out that the fish menu wasn’t the healthy one but the normal menu which was with white rice & Mac salad.
Then my other big complaint was about the Musubi! As you can see from the photos of the Musubi, it was a big disaster! What a waste. Such a shame!
This Musubi didn’t worth for the price that we paid for $ 2.45 for one.
The spam itself was way too thin and the rice was a disaster, wasn’t sticky enough to stick together.
As seen in the pictures, the rice fell apart and the texture was just like their standard or regular rice.
The Musubi wasn’t the same as it was shown on their website or their socmed, not like the real Musubi it supposed to be, it was pretty ugly looking. It wasn’t shape as good as the socmed pictures.
I believe it was just a stupid people who can’t make it good or too lazy to make it a better presentation.
I had made Musubi at home much better than theirs!
It is just a shame that this representation of a big chain restaurant but this local chain itsn’t following the standard.
And the garlic fish fillet was good but it was just came with the wrong sides. The chicken katsu was always dang good.
I suggest that the business owner for this local chain will hire more qualify employees for the cooks and the cashier who can listen carefully & repeat back to the customer to make sure that customers get it right.
So then next time we will make sure to check our order to go, don’t trust those bunch idiot who run the restaurant

I have been a huge fan of L&L BBQ for a long time now and was ecstatic to find out there was one right around the corner from me. I had to go check it out, pronto. The food is fabulous, and the customer service was awesome. It was an enjoyable and delicious time and I will definitely be returning.

My Ivy Mae from the love ranch is from Quam and talked me into going to L & L In Dayton I am so glad! I had been to one a few years ago and it was so so, but now I find out it was me that didn’t get it. I did not know what to order. It was a great experience with Ivy Mae. I love to support small biz and the owner is doing a good job, support our local places.

Hands down the best Hawaiian food in the area! I had the Loco Moco and was not disappointed. We will be returning very soon!

Loooooove L&L! Their healthy plates are to die for! Excellent service also and they always remember who I am. I call about once a week to order out and it’s always super fresh! :)

I can’t believe it took us so long to even realize there was a Hawaiian BBQ in Dayton, NV. Needless to say, it is now one of my favorite place to eat at in the area. The Chicken-​Katsu was delicious! My kids loved the Mac & Cheese; Next time I have to get extra! The place has a wonderful atmosphere! The service is excellent! You can’t go wrong trying them out! :)

typical L & L. nothing special about this location. The lady working the register was meh. would rather drive the extra 20 miles to go to the reno location.

Super fast. They did not mess up our order it I was apparently not real clear that I was ordering for both my husband and I so I had to order twice. Not a deal breaker though. The food is great. The place is clean and was really easy to find. This gets my vote as a regular place to eat.

If possible I would give –1 star.
The customer service is good, but they always end up messing our order up!
We are not new to L&L. The one in Reno always gets our order right.
The first time we ate here at grand opening it was OK. The second time was worse, we got a BBQ mix plate with JUST CHICKEN. They DID NOT tell us. By the time we got home in Carson they were closed. The third time the meat was BURNT and our macaroni salad did not taste good. Ugggh so frustrated with the quality of food here.
Looks like if we want Hawaiian BBQ it’s best to go to the pros in Reno.
DONE giving these guys my money for poor quality BBQ!!!

Excellent Hawaiian cusine! The Kalua pork, and Lau lau tasted just as I remember in Hawaii!

I’ve had L&L before and I was happy to learn that there was one close to us when we moved to Carson. The food is fresh and really flavorful. But what really puts this location ahead of others is its service. Debbi, the owner, is so incredibly nice and welcoming. Tonight, our order somehow got lost in the mix and she realized it and made sure to communicate with us right away. She then gave us a voucher for a free dinner plate next time we come in because of the mistake. She really didn’t have to do that but she did and I really appreciated the gesture.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Get the short ribs plate; they’re amazing!

Awesome place. Dayton needed a restaurant experience like this. The food is very good. Defiantly a new experience and change of scene. The portions could be a little bigger for the price but over all a great experience every time.

We think that L & L Hawaiian is an awesome establishment with great food! It has been posted that the food was a bit salty but it’s not for us it’s PERFECT! We will be back and so should YOU! Every chance you get! What a great addition to the community! Diversity at its best just what we needed! Thank you guys!

We have eaten there several times since they opened. The staff is always friendly, the food is good. I’ve only had one dish I wasn’t happy with out of the three or four I’ve tried so far. Not bad. The last time the order wasn’t what I expected and they fixed it immediately and without a hassle. We’ll keep going back.
