Hooters

Went in with a party of 13. Was told the wait would be 30 minutes, then 45, then 90. Asked the hostess why so long, we see plenty of open tables. «Well, um, yeah, um the kitchen is backed up.» We decided to leave. As we are leaving one of our party heard the Hostess telling the waitresses that the manager told her to say anything to get us to leave. «There’s really only a 5 minute wait». Pfft. Took our business to Ker’s Winghouse instead. The boobs were not impressive enough to deal with that crap.

Excellent food :-) A little loud with Football fan yelling at tv. Fast service :-) Hooters is always a fun place to eat. Don’t know how those girls stay so skinny :-) l know — no children yet! Nice merchandise & food also at a reasonable price. also, hubby for free sliders w/​FB app !

I have to admit that I enjoy Wing house better for wings. That said this is a great location next to the track during race events. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. It can get very busy during events so do not be in a rush. I have never had a bad experience or bad food.

Britney is an awesome bartender. Waitstaff was great. Ignore the other bullshit reviews.

Walked in got a seat our server Crystal asked if we wanted any alcohol said no then she asked if we needed a moment Lee said yes when she came back around we ordered specifically we wanted certain things off like no pickles or no onions we never saw her again until the food came around and guess what it had the stuff we didn’t want on it fries were undercooked we didn’t see Crystal again until it was time to get our bill we put the money on the table and waited for her to take it G took it we waited another four minutes she never got to change back so we left and we will never return again don’t go to this place it sucks

My waitress was beautiful. About all I could say good about this place but I guess thats the main reason to go to a place called Hooters haha. The wings came the same time as my entrée which was kind of strange because usually it comes before. Regardless I got the Texas Melt burger and the sauce was very bland and could not mask the char of the overcooked burger. The wings were small but the medium sauce had a good taste, not spicy at all so i dont know why you would consider that medium but our waitress with the nice butt informed us of that. Not worth the $ 70 to feed a family of four though. Would not go back for the entrée, maybe go back and just get the wings and that girls number

Food was good. Hot and fresh, but, the wings came out wrong, bone-​in and we ordered boneless, they were apologetic gave us those to ‘nibble on’ while they corrected the order. Ended up being told to take them home on the house. Very nice touch. They were quite busy, very understandable for a lil problem and they handled like #champs. Very nice experience and meal.

I loved the food we were all starving but the service was lacking. Our waitress had a bad attitude and you could tell the majority of the other wait staff wore it as well. I personally enjoyed WingHouse better, at least for their better attitudes and attentiveness

An excellent time on all levels… Amber was wonderful along with the food… The place was well kept and all the ladies were smiling…

My husband and I went here and I loved it because our waitress was great. She was friendly and helpful… unlike when we go to the wing house where the servers seem to hate doing their job.
But our waitress Catrina did a great job. and the wings were good… I was please with this restaurant experience.

ok-​I have to admit I was reluctant to try this place but my boyfriend convinced me that I would like the food and he was right! We both had the barbecued shrimp and I have to say I was converted. I was also very comfortable as there were not only other female diners but families too. Our hostess and waitress were very professional and the service was great and attentive.

I love this Hooters compared to the ones where I live in Cali. The service is better, and in my opinion they do something to the wings which make it taste more delectable.
The service was as well good in my opinion with the waitresses knowing what you ordered.
The only down side is that this place becomes quite busy on the weekends when you just want to get some wings.

Great Hooters. Very busy because of bike week but we were seated fairly quickly and served right away by a friendly, attentive waitress. Wings were great.

Not a bad place. I think the food has turned it around a bit at hooters. Folks complain about service. Well it all depends on time of day. Daytona Wings are great. Everything seemed to be hand crafted and not just thaw and dump cooking.

After my most recent visit, I definitely WILL NOT return to Hooters. Ever.
Kristen, our server was awful. She was unattentive and she screwed up our entire order. The hubs ordered a burger medium and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, also to be sauced in the medium sauce. I ordered my sandwich with curly fries and the hubs ordered his with tater tots. Kristen told him that the tots came out with cheese sauce, sour cream, chives, and bacon bits (which was fine with him).
30 minutes later, our food arrives. The burger arrived well done and the tots didn’t have any of the toppings that Kristen indicated it would. My sandwich arrived unsauced and plain. As we are taking the first initial bites of what smelled and looked good, I was immediately let down. 15 minutes goes by of us just sitting and waiting until finally, Kristen stops by to check on our progess. We brought in to her attention the issues with the food and she offers to bring me a side of sauce for my chicken. A few minutes later, she came back with a cup of sauce that had a big golf-​ball sized chunk of something that immediately made my husband want to throw up. After that, I completely gave up. The manager came out, he apologized profusely for all of the issues and everything was on the house.
Oh how I miss the way Hooters used to be, I’m truly sad to say that I will never, ever, ever, come back.

Located across the street from Daytona Speedway. Staff was great and the food met expectations.

Hooters now checking grandpas for ID. Manager looked at the lines and wrinkles on
my face and said he knew I was over 60 but that it was the law he had to see every ones ID before he could serve alcohol. Total BS. There is no such Florida law. Hooters blaming good old state of Florida for their unpopular corporate edict.
Me, I am a Vietnam Veteran and retired. I have paid my dues. What Hooters is doing is totally «UNAMERICAN». So I left and went to The Winghouse. No problems there.

They ladies here are good looking but thats it. The food is not good at all but the girls make up a bit for that.
If this please was only about tits I would definitely rate it 5 stars!
However the food scores something between 1 and 2 stars. All over I have to rate this a 3 star.

Stopped into Hooters on the last Daytona NASCAR weekend. They do a pretty good job of shuffling fans in and out during the mass of humanity that swamps the area during race weekends, and they have a lot of great drink and wing specials that draw a lot of folks in. We waited in line for about 30 minutes before being seated, and for as BUSY as this place was, the service was great, as I’m assuming it was mandatory for all Hooters Girls to work that weekend.
I love the food at Hooters– spicy chicken sandwiches are always great, chicken strips, fried buffalo shrimp, fried pickles, oysters, and of course– the wings. I love Hooters wings. You can say they’re overrated all you want, but they’re good. And served up by Hooters Girls with a pitcher of cold beer, it doesn’t really get any better than that. The place was clean, well-​staffed (I really can’t express how well it was handled due to the MASSIVE number of folks in this area, seriously), and the usual Hooters décor all over the walls, with a lot of NASCAR pictures and memorabilia. Of course, they also have the shop where you can buy your shirts and mugs and stuff with the Hooters Daytona Beach logo.
Had a great meal here. The food was delicious, beer ice cold, service was great, and I really am glad I stopped in here. We even stopped in later on after the race was over, where they had a massive after race party rocking– handing out free Budweiser SWAG, with awesome drink specials and still rocking wings and burgers in the parking lot, along with a SWEET cool zone area with misters. Hooters does race weekend right! In Daytona and it’s not race weekend? Swing on in– you won’t even have to pay $ 60 to park there! Great food, GREAT waitressess (hint, hint), and a cool little place to eat. Definitely catered to men, however a lot of families stop in, and my wife even enjoys the place and points out the waitresses to me. How awesome is that?!? Don’t be afraid to stop in and enjoy a great meal and a cold beer!

My husband and I laughed at the other review about how not to take your woman to Hooters; it was MY idea to go there! When you’re walking from the Speedway it is either Hooters or Bob Evans, what would you choose? Hooters fit the bill perfectly.
The food was wonderful and the beer was cold. I really enjoyed the wings which were fried with more batter than your average wing and were not at all greasy. The cheeseburger sliders I shared with my son were cooked nicely and came with onion straws.
Our server was super cute and super sweet, especially with our little boy. I noticed some of the girls posing for pictures and thought it would be adorable to have them pose with my 2 year old son. Samantha (same one as in other review?) rounded up some other ladies for the picture. You see the results! He is going to love that picture in 10 years! I made sure to let the manager know on the way out what a good job our server had done.
