Beware! The service department is terrible and the service manager needs a course in customer relations. I bought a very expensive refrigerator. 3 years later I had to call them for repairs — twice within a month’s time. 3 years is a short time in the life cycle of a refrigerator. Twice I had walked into a kitchen with water all over the floor. When I asked the service manager if she thought it was possible that the service technician didn’t fix the root cause problem the first time, she replied«No. And if you want to call GE and pitch a fit to see if you can get them to do something for you, go ahead». She also said it is possible that the very next day after a second repair«the compressor might go bad». When I asked her if they basically have washed their hands of me after I bought the fridge she said«yes». WTF? This is the absolute worse customer experience I have EVER had.
