I am preparing for a professional licensing exam and was counting on having a few uninterrupted hours at this Starbucks to get a lot of studying done with a friend. Neither of us were able to get on the Starbucks wi-fi, so I politely asked the girl at the counter to reset the router. In response she asked a fellow employee whether the«internet was still not working» and he said yes. No one did anything to try and reset the connection, and the girl at the counter dismissed me with a shrug. Apparently the wi-fi issue was an ongoing problem and they just could not care less. To be honest, Starbucks is rarely worth the money, and especially not if the wi-fi is out and they seem completely disinterested in addressing the problem. I think the better way to deal with it should have been to 1) take a serious interest in getting the wi-fi fixed instead of just hoping it’ll work itself out, and 2) put a sign on the door or register saying the wi-fi is out so I know before I spend $ 5.50 on a fucking coffee.

One of the very few Starbucks in the county with drive through. The baristas are always friendly. Clean and quiet place to chill on my way to one of my offices. The coffee and food is the same as others so you know what you are getting.

Finally, a Starbucks I can actually go to on my way to work. I was so happy to see this Starbucks, I’ve wrote them to suggest they open a location in DeLand also, but only time will tell. I literally had no Starbucks on my route to work or in my town before this location went up. The staff is very nice, friendly, very customer oriented and very helpful with me being a Starbucks newbie in all(remember, I didn’t have a Starbucks anywhere before this one on my route to work or near my home, even though I’d love to be a Starbucks daily visitor). The inside and outside is very nice, spacious and set up to allow customers to feel right at home. I love the drive thru as I’m always in a hurry to go to work and I love the customer service I’ve received so far. Hands down, a great Starbucks!!! P. S. Hopefully I can get that Starbucks in DeLand I’ve been requesting for some time now, until then, this will be my main Starbucks to go store ;-).

A nice new Starbucks. It’s a decent size with a huge family style table in the middle. Also nice outdoor seating. Plenty of light coming in from the windows, which makes it bright and cheery. Add in the ambient music and it’s quite a cozy place. Friendly staff had our order ready quickly even though it was fairly busy.

I’ve been waiting for this Starbucks for years! This location is perfect between the interstate and the beach, nascar, and everything. The location itself is unique and has a drive thru which is perfect for on the go coffee and for the days you’re wearing pjs and don’t want to get down. The only downside is the prices! I actually asked and was told the prices at this Starbucks are higher than other locations. I can’t truly complain considering they are where they are. I’ll keep coming to this Starbucks for the convenience and because it’s Starbucks.

This Starbucks just opened in September, and I’m so glad it finally did. When passing through Daytona on the way to Orlando(or on the way back to Jacksonville), I’ve always had to stop at the Starbucks inside Target to get my fix. It’s always been a pain. Well, now I don’t have to do that anymore. The store is pretty easy to get to from I-95 if you are traveling. It’s a couple of miles off the interstate, but it’s just past the International Speedway. It’s a straight shot. The only time I would advise to avoid stopping here while traveling is if a NASCAR race happens to be going on. The traffic will be so horrid that it’ll take forever. I’ve only been here once thus far because I didn’t know it was here. Thanks to Unilocal for helping me locate it! Even though there’s a drive-thru, I opted to go inside. Coffee and a potty break. 2 birds. The two baristas I talked with were very friendly, and were all smiles. I rarely drink hot coffee… I’m an iced coffee kinda gal. This happened to be a chilly night, so I opted for a hot cocoa. The barista even did some cool leaf art on the top. It doesn’t take much to make me happy… it’s those little things, ya know?! =) This is a smaller store, so there’s not a whole lot of seating; but, the seating they do have is nice and comfy looking. I’ll definitely be making many more pit stops here in the future whether on my way to or from the land of The Mouse.
