If you like salt, this is the place for you. We ate here twice and EVERYTHING was salty, especially the homemade soups.

Let me start by saying… Steve may be famous but it’s not for his cooking!!! They were able to accommodate my gluten free request — I ordered a ham and cheese omelette and home fries. The omelette itself was pretty good. The home fries were awful. No flavor at all. Both the cup of tea I had and the cup of coffee hubby had tasted like dishwater. Hubby had pancakes which looked great, but he said they had the consistency of thick glue. There are SO many other places to eat that are SO much better. Do yourself a favor and go there instead.

Had lunch with a co-worker at Steve’s, he had the the blackened Mahi-Mahi and I had the ½ roasted chicken with yam and green beans. Both meals were fantastic. We had Connie as our waitress and she was absolutely magnificent as a server and the sweetest person ever. I will definitely be back for their famous liver and onions. Absolutely 5 stars. *****

I always get consistently good service here, with piping to food, and a friendly smile. What more could you ask for?

We stopped for breakfast. It was ok. Just your normal, average every day place.

Food was OK, it’s difficult to mess up bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Since I left the experience has become a big headache. The charged me for my meal but I also received a CHARGE for 3868.11 from them. On a debit card. I called, was placed on hold then disconnected several times before actually getting to speak to someone. I was told Chris would call in an hour. I waited 2 hours and called. After several more transferring Tom managers phone issues I was told the manager was cooking and would call. While on the phone I received a call that rang once and disconnected. I called it back and Chris tried to say it wasn’t possible. He tried to say his credit card company can’t process more than 500 dollars. I explained to him that isn’t what my bank was saying. I sent him a screen shot of BOTH transactions. He then sent me a copy of my receipt. I wasn’t arguing that I owed for a meal, I wanted an explanation why a second charge appeared. He said he would call me back, it’s been a day and a half, no word from him, and the charge has processed and gone through. DONTEATHERE… maybe the 3868 dollars they stole will go to a landscape company to clean up the outside of this place…

OMG! let me get straight to the point! The hamburger SUCK! Save your money and go elsewhere. My wife ordered the salmon… it also SUCK! Dry as HELL!!! The best thing they had was H2o with lemon. Please people go elsewhere. I love food… I couldn’t even finish my burger. My 14 yr daughter cooks better than the chef.

Medicore at best. Prices are fairly good for an ocean view diner though. Food was nothing to write home about. Service was also mediocre.

Steve’s makes homemade muffin. My wife had the monte Cristo and said it was fantastic. I had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, home fries, and their homemade bread. The bread is outstanding. Great lil place with a large menu. Serve breakfast daily up to 3 pm which is nice. Check it out you will not be disappointed!!!

My family goes to Steve’s anytime were here in Daytona! The food is spectacular, delicious, and affordable! The service is superb(ask for Crazy Greg)! From the Gyro Platter to the Seafood Platter to the amazing American classics, this place is the best! The soup and bread are reason enough to go!

Hearty portions at a great price! Owners are awesome! Had a very yummy patty melt! Their gyros are so good! Soups are always homemade and super yummy! Daughter got meatloaf and mashed potatoes and she loved it! They have really good breakfasts also! If you get a chance to have their moussaka when they serve it during the winter months, you must try it! My mouth waters just thinking about it! Chris is amazing in the kitchen! Highly reccomend! Wait staff is also great!

Five stars for a great server, terrific bread, fast service, wonderful food. It’s everything a great diner should be… even a little«sass» from our waitress! Reuben was perfect, potato salad the best we’ve had in a long, long time. Beef barley soup, filled up on the fresh veggies… very tasty. Bread is fresh, hot, great dense flavor, perfect when we dipped it in a little bowl of fantastic, homemade marinara sauce we ordered. No room for the great looking cakes, pie, and baklava… guess we’ll have to go back for that! What a shame… lol

Went for late lunch and chose them because they were not too crowded and were not a chain. The service was fast and friendly and the prices inline with the servings. the omelet was filling but not great, french toast was superior, so my taught says! not a bad place; but nothing to write home about.

Soup and Bread. Soup and Bread. Soup and Bread. If you go for nothing else, at least go for the bread. It is made fresh every day and throughout the day. It is a nice, dense bread that tastes great with butter. Not the best thing you can eat, but boy does it make you happy. You can also request the bread be used in place of the normal bread for toast, sandwiches, french toast, or anything else on the menu at a slight price increase. The price up-charge doesn’t bother me since it is already a fairly cheap meal. As far as the rest of the food goes, it is typical diner fair at a fairly decent price.

We stopped by for lunch. We fell in love with the fresh, hot out of the oven bread they serve! There’s nothing better than warm home made bread with real butter! We both ordered the gyro platter which includes soup and salad. It was good, but the bread is the ‘rock star’! Everything here is home made and pretty much your basic comfort food. We liked it.
