Gallagher Pizza Inc

New to the area and stopped in for my son’s birthday. We were seated and waited 25 minutes. When the waitress sat another table I asked if they could get us our drinks we ordered and take our order she said she would tell our waitress. She immediately came back with the other tables drinks and we sat for 10 more minutes until we walked out.

I always have received fast service for the amount of food they make and the wait staff is always been amazing, the food is great and the lrices reasonable its a great place to go with my family or just stay home and order in. The chicken Alfredo is mouth watering and if thats not your thing then try there pizza that is just as great.

I visited the De Pere location with my mom and we enjoyed the pizza selection very much. The option for honey wheat crust was a nice surprise, and the flavor of the crust did not disappoint either.
We also had an order of breadsticks prior to our meal and they were very fresh and flavorful.
They have a decent selection of beer and we were impressed to see they had a small bar in the restaurant, along with a game room and separate buffet/​gathering room.
We will definitely be back to try out some of their other pizzas as well as the buffet.

I have only ever eaten the lunch/​dinner buffets here. It is a great value with a good selection of food. Their pizza is my favorite.

I have been here two times and honestly I like the Green Bay Mason location better. I had the buffet which I have never had before and it was okay. Nothing special and some of the pasta/​pizza options were really greasy. The shrimp was over breaded and the stuffed mushrooms were gritty. I did like the cod on the buffet and the salad dressing options. I was tempted to steal the dressing on there it was that good.

I am a huge fan of taco pizza. Not many places make it an the ones that do frequently fail miserably. Not only was the taco pizza very good it is available in deep dish style. I look forward to trying other speciality pizzas and items on their menu in the future.

How have I not reviewed Gallagher’s? We’ve ordered from here at least 10 times. Best Chicago style pizza in town, IMHO. Better than any of the «famous» pizza joints in Chicago (which are all crap, BTW). Their traditional thinner-​crust pizzas are OK too, but the deep dish Chicago is where it’s at. If you order it out, they might say it only takes 15 – 20 minutes, but it always takes at least 30.
Take the kids to the buffet if you want a crowd pleaser, but don’t expect an amazing adult experience there. Decent salad bar, 4 – 5 pizzas to choose from, and a lack-​luster buffet of various greasy, fried, or bland items.

I don’t know if the DePere location of Gallagher’s is the black sheep of the chain, but my first (and probably last) visit was a major disappointment. I was seated by a hostess who was downright surly, but my waitress was friendly enough.
I started my meal with an order of cheese curds, which were nicely crispy, gooey, and not greasy. However, it was all downhill from there.
I ordered a pan pizza with spicy sausage and green peppers. Whoever prepared the pizza apparently didn’t realize that making a pan pizza requires oil or butter in the pan. In any event, the crust was dense, dry, and flavorless.
Many people may feel that a pizza can never have too much cheese, but for me, that was the case. With one bite out of a slice, all of the cheese was pulled off in one congealed sheet. Moreover, the pizza was extremely undersauced; only after the cheese was ripped off a slice did I notice that there was a thin layer of sauce. I couldn’t tell you if it was good or not, because it was too scarce to be noticed.
The spicy sausage was devoid of spice, and the green peppers were watery, flavorless, and obviously previously frozen. I’ve had substantially better pizzas out of the freezer at the grocery store. Gallagher’s does also offer pasta and sandwiches, but if a pizza place can’t make a good pizza, I don’t see any hope for anything else on the menu.
