Great lunch spot. My wife and I were in town for a training class and stopped in for lunch. I had the beef and rutabaga pasty and my wife had the chicken pot pie. Great price and DELICIOUS.

Stopped in for a bite of lunch today we each ordered the beef, potato and rutabaga pasty and there wasn’t a scrap left. Absolutely delicious! Very satisfying, comforting and such a bargain at $ 5 each. The three of us had a terrific lunch, including drinks, for $ 17. I highly recommend!

Nothing can compare! These are traditonally made pasties, with the most amazing and flaky crust! So delicious! And don’t miss out on their chicken pot pies, either. Indescribably delicious! I never bother to make homemade chicken pot pies now. Why bother when hers are so good?

I had a Pasty, as I never had one before It was pretty good. About what I expected. I give a big thumbs up to the lady who was working there, she was very nice and friendly.

We had lunch there today. The pasties were excellent. I’m glad I read the review that suggested we order gravy instead of ketchup. With the addition of the gravy it was really really good. It might have been a little dry without it.

The Pasty I had was very good, and the price was right! $ 6.50 for a can of soda and a meal. Should do well when the collage kids are in town. (Saves money for more important needs in collage like textbooks or to pay off underage drinking tickets!).
Would like to give this place a 5 star but it only has 2 very small tables and its more of a take out place. Just couldn’t justify the top rating.
Only other issue was how hard it is to find. I found the address but drove bye because all I saw was a gas station and a liquor store. They have a big yellow sign that says «pasties» but it’s on a fence that can not be seen because of the one way traffic on Reid St.
If you find it… It’s well worth it!
