Beautiful Eyebrows

This place is somewhat hit or miss, but it’s probably the best option in metro Detroit to get your eyebrows threaded. I find that the employees are somewhat rude and they definitely take their time moving from client to client. I’ve been there about 9 – 10 times and I was only unhappy once, which is pretty decent in my opinion.

So this is an updated review.
It’s been about 2 years or so since my review of this place and while I still think they do a good job there are some things I’d like to mention.
First and foremost the wait time has steadily increased over the years. There have been plenty of times when there is nowhere to sit because there are so many people waiting. Good for them but as a customer I’m annoyed.
To this day I have always had good service with this location however during my long wait times I have seen the employee interactions with others and it is not good. A lot of times they are rude to customers. Especially the ones who want a specific person to do their brows. Now I admit that because of this I have never asked for a specific person and have to trust that they do a good job but really I shouldn’t have to be afraid to ask for fear of getting into it with an employee.
As far as I am concerned they still do a good job but it isn’t worth it for me to make the drive that way just for them. The quality of service has deteriorated even though the actual work is still good.

I am so livid right now that I just HAD to write a review. I’ve been going to this place for the last 4 or 5 years, back when they were across from Starters. I have NEVER had a problem. Recently they’ve hired a new female, who quite possibly is the most RUDE THING I have ever seen. I told her I wanted my thick eyebrows to stay thick. She nodded her head like she understood, and started yanking out ALL the hair! When I saw myself in the mirror, it looked like she’d drawn eyebrows on me with a damn sharpie marker, they were so damn thin. The next time I go, I will make it VERY clear that HER service is unwanted. And if she asks why, I’ll be more than happy to let her know. No wonder it’s not as crowded as it used to be…

The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because my sister went at the same time and her brows looked great. She had the older lady while I had a younger girl.
My brows, on the other hand, were completely botched. Actually, let me take that back. My eyebrows look okay but the girl who did my brows literally cut the skin below them multiple times. I have been threaded before and have never had this issue. I have little scabs under my eyebrows now where she was very careless. I think she was in a hurry. At first I thought it was just dried blood, but it’s definitely little cuts. Not to mention, she didn’t offer any alcohol or anything to clean or soothe my brows afterwards. I will definitely not be going back.

Very reasonably priced, quick and most importantly, they work magic on overgrown and unruly brows. The kick is that they are next door to a great nail place so you can hit them both up at the same time!

Im from California and only really trust one person to do my eyebrows. With that concern in mind I was skeptical to try this place. However, as soon as I entered I could tell these were people of high work ethic. Focused, precise, and efficient is what I noticed as I waited to get my eyebrows done. I was lucky enough to have Olyaa do my eyebrows and just like the professional she is they came out darling! I will definitely keep this as my regular go to spot.

No pain, no gain. But I loved how my brows turned out! Dana did an amazing job. And at $ 10 the price is right :)

I needed to get my eyebrows done and quickly before heading out of state for a job interview. So I emailed Annette J asking if she had any suggestions of where to get them done. A friend of her’s has great brows and said she goes to Beautiful Eyebrows in Fairlane Mall of all places.
I was a little skeptical to begin with because I had never had my brows done but need to do something. I heard about the threading method which seems to be becoming more popular than ever because they don’t use any chemicals.
This place is right by Sear’s in the corner so could be a little hard to find. Luckily I did my research before heading off to the mall. I wasn’t sure about prices because nothing seemed to be posted that I could tell. I signed my name in the book and sat down. It took about 7 minutes or so. I wasn’t sure if it would hurt or not having only used tweezers before. It felt about the same as using tweezers and my brows looked good. The price was right as well I ended up paying only $ 10 plus tip.
Thanks to the women at Beautiful Eyebrows for a good experience and at a decent price. After trying threading my eyebrows won’t be able to look nice without it.
