We got there when the dining room was closed so we decided to get a to go. We asked the cashier about the large pizza size and she showed us the pic which led us to believe that it would be too small for three of us to share. Hence, we got two. We got home and opened it up and we were shocked how large the size of the pizza and had so much left over even in one box. The service was a C. The pic and the knowledge of the cashiers should be upgraded before making another misleading mistake like us. On the other side, the pizza was superb! My fiancé loved it! I liked it too. I will be back again

This place is delicious, wow! I have come here twice for lunch and have enjoyed both experiences. I ordered the half tuna sandwich both times and was blown away! This sandwich is so freakin’ delicious! Ordering is very quick, the food is inexpensive, and the delivery is efficient. The first time I came here I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to wait for my food at the counter or if they would bring it to the table, that was a little confusing. But they do bring the food to your table, they take your name when ordering and shout it out when they walk into the«dinner room» and you just kind of raise your hand and they walk over to you. They also clean the tables so you don’t have to throw anything away, you just leave everything on the table. I work right down the street and will definitely keep this place in mind whenever considering lunch! Oh, and they also have an ice cream bar for dessert!

Great pizza and subs. I like to get an Italian sub, or a Bellacinos pride pizza, lots of meat and veggies. I agree with the bland comments about the subs. But that just allows the quality of the ingredients to show through. And if you want to spice it up you can. Very tasty pizza. Thin but not NY thin. Cut in squares so you pretty much have to eat it with a fork. Price is a little high but not as high as Buddy’s across the street. I go there about once or twice a month. I like it but its a treat, not a staple.

I don’t think I’ll be returning. I use to love Bellacino’s when I worked in Toledo so when I saw one near my new job I was kind of excited! My order was so bland though! It didn’t taste like there was any seasoning used whatsoever. I’m really disappointed! The staff also did not seem very excited to be at work. Note personable at all… Maybe I’ll try the other location to see if it’s different, but overall dining here was just a huge letdown. :-(

The best grinders aka subs near Detroit. I always get the steak with added oil and mayo. The grilled chicken is good as well.

Twas OK. Have to admit I was expecting more after I read the reviews. I had a personal size Bellacion’s pizza. It was pretty good. I’d get it again. I also had some fries. They were the worst fries I’ve ever had. They didn’t even taste like fries. They tasted like burned bread. :/I got a free cone from the Haggan Daaz. Delicious. So. Mixed review.

Ive ordered carry out several times and have not been disappointed. I’ve tried several different grinders, all were very tasty. Service is always fast and staff is very friendly. Restaurant looks clean. It’s in a great location on Michigan ave with plenty of parking. I have their phone number saved in my contacts because we eat there so frequently! I would definitely recommend this place if you’ve got a craving for some delicious grinders!

This place is always dead but the food is delicious. Perfectly toasted bread every time. i usually get the Italian minus sausage. They don’t slop mayo on everything and the bread is never soggy. The steak and cheese is always good, too. They use a special garlic smear on it and the meat is good quality. Service was fast and friendly. I’ve never tried the pizza but it looked good coming out of the oven!

Been here a couple times. It’s okay but fast. All there grinders are a little bland. The workers behind the counter aren’t overly friendly. And the layout is a little goofy.

I’ve always loved this place. There are plenty of «toasted sub» places out there but let me say a few words about some of those«others». Quizno’s is good and probably the most well known. I like their prime rib sandwiches in particular but their regular sandwiches are decent as well. Subway? Well, let’s just say their«toasted» subs are toasted in some sort of hybrid, microwave/toaster oven assembled by a mad scientist who thought his goal was to create a way to suck all the moisture out of bread. Eating a Subway toasted sub is like eating pre-packaged lunch meat sandwiched between two chalkboard erasers. When you bite into your sandwich and the bread disintegrates into a cloud of starch particles that cause coughing fits in unsuspecting passers-by, that’s bad. Anyway, glad I got that off my chest. Back to the task at hand. Bellacino’s. The great thing about Bellacino’s is HOW they cook their subs(grinders). They actually bake them in a pizza oven. Forget about this«toasting» crap. COOKIT! INANOVEN! MAKEITMEEEEELTYYYY!!! The bread is very fresh and the oven turns it into a warm, soft, chewy, crispy edged loaf of wonderfulness. Stick a bunch of high quality meat and cheese in there and add in some cold, crispy lettuce and tomato and you have yourself a handful of heaven. My favorite is the Italian which is topped with Mozzarella and actual pizza sausage and bell peppers. Lovely. Darn it, now I want one. And it’s 11PM… *Update* Just saw an episode of 30 Rock where one of the staff members picks Subway for the office lunch that day and everyone throws things at him. YES! Finally, Hollywood and I agree on something…

What the heck is a Grinder? Well their menu explains that they are sandwiches made for east coast ship builders during WWI. They were the sandwiches that were a favorite of the workers that ground down the steel rivets on the metal hulls. These workers were know as Grinders(not to be confused with the Wing’s Grind Line) and the sandwich was eventually named for them. Flash to the 21’s century and we’re talking about a sub sandwich that is cooked in a pizza oven. Not as unique as it was 5 years ago since the advent of Quizno’s and ovens in Subway. So what’s separates them from the others? It’s the bread man… Bellacino’s Grinders come on sub rolls that they make from scratch daily. The topping are fresh and well stuffed as well, but the rolls are outstanding. My favorite. The Chicago Steak and Cheese. Thin sliced steak, onions, fresh mushrooms on the sub roll coated with their special garlic spread. Then covered in cheese and baked in the pizza oven. The garlic rolls are to die for… Something even a Red Wing Grinder would love…
