Holy crap this place is a hot mess. Is it cheap? Yes. Will you find better deals than TJ Maxx? Yes. Will you have a panic attack trying to find anything amid the chaos? Likely. Will you wait 20 minutes to check out? Yes. I saved some money but lost some dignity. Not sure I’ll ever go back to Burlington Coat Factory.

Worst store ever and employees standing around doing nothing and chatting, very unhelpful garbage store, when I asked for help they all looked at me like I’m crazy or something, never again

Terrible… the associates, not the merchandise. The store itself is okay, fairly neat and clean. The attitudes of the people working there is a different story. Went in there a few weeks ago to get a blazer for a funeral. Waited in 3 different lines to try and check out. After about 20 minutes, a line was free. Three women associates are standing up at customer service just yakking away while people are waiting. I asked if someone could ring me out to which I got«Excuse me ma’am, I wasn’t talking to you, that line is closed.» Funny, it was open two seconds ago, and by the way sorry to interrupt your bullshitting fest. I was fuming when I left and even called the store manager afterwards to which the same old«I’m so sorry that’s not how we do business» yada yada speech. Find another BCF or go to TJ Maxx, not worth the hassle at all!

They have something for everyone here. I like to come here for accessories, socks, and clothing. Name brand stuff for a good price. Only thing I don’t like too much is some areas are always a mess and checkout can be slow, but other than that its worth checking out.

First time at any Burlington Coat Factory. Cheap prices hence the 3 stars but the place is a mess and the lines were long! O_O If it weren’t for my friend I would have left right off the bat.

I called Burlington a few days ago, regarding their price-matching policy. Online it states that they will match any competition’s price, so long as it’s the exact same product. I called to double check that they would match any price I found(my crib bedding set is $ 40 cheaper online at but they have the set in store) and the customer service rep confirmed my question, and told me to just print out a copy of the ad, and they could match the price, no problem, no questions asked. I drove out there today, copy of the ad in hand, waited in line for like 15 minutes, and the clerk refused to match the price. He called over the manager who just said«no». I asked why they told me they would honor the price match when I called two days earlier, and he shrugged, muttered something about only matching prices with Target ads, and walked away. Bad customer service! Don’t tell a customer you’ll match a price if you aren’t planning on it.
