When it’s on, it’s one of the best. When it’s not, very cold and un-welcoming. The experience depends first on the mood of the management and second whether or not the bar keep has the snootiness apron on. There is no problem admitting I belong more across the street at Biergarten or swilling a pint at BW’s before parking my borderline white trash dupa on a belly-up in a pinkie swaggling martini bar. However, when I stay in Dearborn I make it a point to hit the Moose because I have had some fabulous late nighter’s there with some of the better bartenders tugging a tap. But I’ve also had a few keepers of the bar that have dingle-berry type personalities. The hot dogs are a great touch with the mainstream aps complimenting some well shaken tini’s. If you go, hopefully you get the Direct TV Moose’s and not the cable TV Moose’s!

Last weekend was my first time coming to Moose Bar. The location is good with a FREE parking garage on the weekends located super close. The service was pretty good, very friendly ladies! The biggest disappointment was the lemon drop martini. It was very bitter and gross. The apple martini was too artificially sweet. I was disappointed because I asked a suggestion for a martini that was sweet but not overly sweet and strong. I was recommended the apple martini which was okay but too sweet. However, the best martini was the CUCUMBERMARTINI! It was so good so perfect. I liked this place just for whatever. It’s def. for an older crowd but my girlfriend and I just wanted to drink and talk so this was perfect. I’d probably come back just for that and the cucumber martini. For 4 martinis and a great buzz with my girlfriend I didn’t think $ 40 was too bad other than the lemon drop martini.

Be prepared to spend a lot of money here. the martini’s are very good. I was here last night I had the Cucumber martini it was delicious but not for $ 9.50.the food is good. the service is very slow, every time we come here there is only one barmaid running the whole place. We waited 15 minutes before she took our order. we wanted another drink but she never came back to check on us so I walked up to the bar told her to cash us out.$ 22 for 2 Martini including tip is very high to get such bad service. I’ll only come bk during happy hour so I don’t break the bank!

Great martinis! OMG! yummy! Be sure to try the buffalo chicken dip! Nice bar tender. Great place, indoor & outdoor seating. Lots of TV’s. Oh, if you drink too much… free ride home one time use!

Moose’s is exactly what it says it is — a Martini Bar. They have great happy hour specials and fancy martinis at a not TOO fancy price of about $ 8. The food is satisfying and decent, but not the bar snacks you’ll get in Ferndale or downtown. Not bad, but not homemade. They also bake everything with one oven,(no fryers) so if your table orders a bunch of stuff, it will probably come out a bit at a time. Not a problem if you’re drinking and snacking, which is what this place is good for. You don’t necessarily want to have dinner here. The martinis are great — especially the Tiramisu martini. Yum! The servers and bartenders are friendly and attentive, and even the cooks come out to say hello. A nice little neighborhood bar.

I like this place for drinks only! The service is good & drinks are strong. I decided to order food. It was terrible. I had a hot dog with srichia and sour cream. It was mostly bread. Then came buffalo chicken dip. It was like eating old can cheese with chunks of chicken in it. Yuck!!! I’m given 3 stars for the drinks only! Eat before or after but not here. Will I return. Yes just for drinks nothing else.

Coming here I was excited because I love a good dirty martini. I brought my friend this place because the Double olive closed in Dearborn.(Moment of silence for the double olive)… Ok so the first time was nice. Martini was good, no problems with the food and service was fine. Second, I’m not sure what happened :-(I ordered a dirty martini and it just tasted off… I cannot put my finger on it. Like the olives that they used were old and the dirty portion tasted like it was sitting in plastic bottle for a year. Or maybe stale. I’m no expert, but I have tasted better martinis. Not impressed. The bar ladies were nice. They do have a nice martini menu but I would love if they added a few not so sweet ones. If you like sweet martinis my friend that I went with the first time loved them ! But I will surly give them another try.

They have the best specialty martinis in town. The Martini of Week is always changing so you can experience a new drink and it’ll be awesome. The staff is really friendly. I love coming here for an after work drink

Rum chata + loopy vodka + strawberry(?) dessert squeeze embellishment = best martini ever. Friendly server. Parking isn’t great.

Mets friends here for happy hour and excitedly glanced through their drink menu which is extensive and reasonably priced. As hungry happy hour visitors, our table sampled many of their appetizers all of which were bland and unappetizing. The spinach artichoke dip literally had no flavor and was extremely watery… The fried ravioli was also bland and reminiscent of frozen food you can find at any big lots store. The nachos lacked enough cheese to truly be considered nachos and was smothered instead by lettuce. Thankfully, the drink menu was large enough to provide flavor where the food lacked any at all. I personally won’t go back but if you want to go somewhere to try some creative drinks, this might be up your alley… just don’t go hungry or you’ll be supremely disappointed.

They offer cheap drink specials because they’ve watered down the vodka. I had two(well one and a half) dirty martinis. The fist was weak and overly brined. The second was properly brined, but I could tell the vodka was at least 25% water. Bad place.

Met a friend there for a few pints of IPA and had a couple appetizers. It wasn’t fancy, but it was casual and relaxed. The toasted ravioli was pretty good.

Bartenders are incredibly indignant and unfriendly. Unwelcoming atmosphere overshadows the mediocre bar food. I’d rather go to Miller’s down the street any day.

I think this is a 4.5 star review, but will lean towards five on this one. Came on a saturday night, they had a DJ(he played some great music and it was current, no dance floor though) and there was a lot of people in here mixing and mingling. They have a appetizer menu(all baked not fried) for which I had the wings(a little big but really good) and their chicken nachos(some of the best nachos you will ever have). Drinks here will run between $ 6-$ 9(including their martini’s, which are all 8.50 and very good), but are very very good, different, and they run at least a 1 – 2 drink special every day. Overall, it can get a little high here as far as price/bill at the end of the night here, but it is a nice good time, i like it.

Subpar, but what can you really expect from Dearborn? That’s about all I have for this review.

Yummy fiesta feta pita strips, their food selection is interesting for a bar. Or martini pub I should say. Fabulous selection of martini’s and they are huge! Thats maybe why they are pricey. They can make you practically anything. I asked the bartender of she knew how to make a raspberry truffle martini, I told her the ingredients that I saw online and she did it! Was amazing, so you need to tread carefully.

Moose’s gave me mixed feelings. The specials gave me a chill, laid back, divy vibe… the ambiance and extensive drink menu gave me a trendy, upscale vibe. The music upon entering was depressing for a Friday night at the bar :-/ I had the dog piss(the name had me taken aback and intrigued LOL) and my friend had the dirty martini special. Because mine required a new keg to be tapped, it took a while, so it was on the house. That was nice! We also ordered the mac & cheese bites and chicken fingers. Both were overcooked with little burnt crusties on it. The mac & cheese bites tasted like frozen food apps that were cooked in the microwave. So, clearly food here isn’t a good idea. I got that vibe from other reviews, actually. We also weren’t given silverware or little app plates. I ate my chicken finger on a napkin. Several napkins, because of crumbs. There were crumbs because I had to tear pieces off, since I didn’t have silverware to use. I want to go back to Moose’s to give it another shot. It’s not out of the woods, yet. It wasn’t BAD, but I wasn’t dying to stay after my first drink.

Moose’s Martini is a part of the«new» downtown Dearborn. It’s a very quaint bar. It’s basically a long, narrow room, and the people were packed in on a Friday night. They have an extensive martini list, and the wait staff was very helpful when we were trying to make our selections. I recommend the Pink Hound and the Snozberry. Prices were reasonable, and fortunately the martinis were huge! I will definitely go back.

Can see how this place could get some bad reviews, but come on people, they have ridiculous happy hours and specials. Basically any night during the week you can figure out how to get a good draft beer for $ 1 – 2, or a fancy martini for $ 6 that would be $ 10 anywhere else. I might skip the food and bring your own atmosphere, but cheap drinks at a place that’s not a total skeezy dive is a good thing.

Well, I was here this past Halloween weekend & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I ran into my cousin who said their martinis are great & I’ll take her word for it… I had some whiskey & didn’t try any of their signature cocktails. I enjoyed the over 30 atmosphere here(thank God, I often feel old when out in Dearborn) & they played great music but there’s no dance floor which kind of stinks… we had to leave & go next door to The Well to get our dance on. My only other complaint is the single private bathroom… this sucks when there are 6 ladies in line & only 1 can use the bathroom at a time(some ladies take WAY too long), and God forbid someone drink too much, they’d have to go outside to be sick, they can’t take up the only bathroom for 45 minutes. I’m a fan of bar hopping & I think this is a good first or middle bar but I like to close out my bar night getting my groove on so I would likely spend more weekend going here & The Well for a nice rounded night of fun!!!
