I had high expectations for this place when I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon in late December, 2015. My parents and I decided to come here to puff on some cigars and throwback a few cold ones. The service was terrible right off the bat. The man working at the time was a mid-30s Arab guy who had no personality or common courtesy. We asked for a table and for the humidor to be unlocked as he was talking on his cell phone. He didn’t even put his phone down to assist us. My dad and I went inside the humidor and were dramatically let down. The shelves were mainly bare and the prices were rudely high. We ended up getting cigars anyway. We sat at the bar and began watching TV. During the whole visit the guy barely said two words to us. We gave us menus but never asked us what we wanted to eat. We didn’t end up eating, anyway. The only upside to this place is the décor; rustic and open. I say this place goes out of business real quick.

Went here on a Friday night between 11pm-midnight and there were about four customers inside. It was pretty unbelievable. I can’t believe they can afford to keep the lights on. Pathetic.

First and last time to be visiting this place, waitress never introduced herself, rolled her eyes several time throughout the evening. One person of our party of 4 ordered a Chardonnay and was brought a cabernet, when we mentioned it to the waitress, her first eye roll, she shrugged her shoulders and said, I don’t know… An iced tea was ordered which was old and bitter was sent back and again eye roll … «Dinner» was brought out and an order of fries was so over salted they could not be eaten, mentioned it to the witness and again, eye roll. I personally ordered a Reuben it was so dry it scratched the roof of my mouth, mentioned it to the waitress and you guessed it eye roll and she said I don’t know I don’t eat that. Asked for an extra plate and a tea cup plate was brought out, joke! No manager would could come to apologize nor did the waitress ever apologize for anything…94 $ bill~ disgusting! Never again, don’t waist your time! No star!!!

My husband and I popped in for a quick drink while exploring Dearborn bars. We decided to check out their beautiful patio. This is a smoking lounge, so keep that in mind. Even with the open air, the cigar smoke was obvious. They had a few standard beers on tap(including Oberon), along with Angry Orchard hard cider. There was music playing, which helped drown out everyone’s conversations. The service was great and the breeze was perfect. My only complaint was that a shot of Jim Beam was $ 8. I can get a fifth of Beam for the cost of two shots here. That’s not okay. I’ll still come back but will stick to beers. Check this place out if you want to enjoy a beer on a nice rooftop patio.

My boyfriend and I went on a Thursday night. I believe it was the week they opened. The bar itself is a very beautifully decorated bar. It has rustic luxe feel to it. First disappointment was that no draft beer. They’ve just opened so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The biggest disappointment of all was the food. We started with the calamari for an app. The rings were not bad but the the serving size was very small. I could understand if the calamari was delicious but this is your basic calamari fried rings you could get at any restaurant chain. I ordered the Mac and cheese. I have never not finished my meal no matter how disappointing. This however, was a first for me! The Mac and cheese was disgusting. There was not much flavor and the texture felt like wax in my mouth. My boyfriend was also surprised. He got a burger(forgot what kind) it was suggested by our waitress but she didn’t really offer any other suggestions. He said the burger was nothing special. I was very shocked and disappointed by the Mac and cheese. Please do not order that if you opt for food. I won’t be coming back anytime soon. We weren’t even offered any drink specials or anything. The menu didn’t offer much of a selection either. I would probably just go to Post Bar across the street. Unless they’ve tried something different with the Mac and cheese I may come back. I gave 2 stars because it was very clean and a very beautiful bar and the service wasn’t bad.
