This is an upcoming tavern with great grilled wings and grilled Mahi Mahi has a large variety of beers on tap which you can sample before purchase.

Great selection of craft beers. They do rotate a selection of them so that there is something new to try.

Definitely recommend Twisted Tap! It’s set off the road and easy to overlook if you don’t know it’s there, but this was a great find. They have a great beer selection(try a beer flight, or two, if you like variety!) and the food is really solid, as well. I didn’t have the wings myself, but they got rave reviews. The fish and chips were tasty and the portion was quite big. There are games on the tables, which is pretty cool. They also have a pool table and several TVs, so this would be a great place to watch a game. Also, everyone was super friendly and offered many suggestions when asked. The bartender was happy to create a beer flight for my husband based on his preferences(he leans towards IPAs or stouts), and I got the impression he really enjoys his job. I feel like a lot of locals aren’t very aware of Twisted Tap, so I hope they do some marketing soon to make sure they stick around a while!

Went there for the second time yesterday. I am just not a fan. The first time we went it had just opened so it was slammed, we waited about 1 hour longer than we were told. The cider menu is limited if at all, the food is so over priced and even new, it just seemed grungy. Yesterday we walked in, it was DEAD. Sat down, asked about ciders– they had two, really?! I ordered fried pickles which were good and there were a bunch, but then we ordered the blackened chicken sandwich. $ 10.99 and it was on a .99 bun, overly salty, and just sad looking. I wont be back unless we are with people who want to go. Draft House is just a WAY better option for beers/ciders/food. Sucks because the concept is great just no flair there.

New owners are breathing new life into the place while keeping the old good points. Great live band. Awesome beer selection and wings. Best night out in DeBary.

Stopped in to celebrate the boyfriend’s dad’s birthday. The place was pretty crowded as there was a group of 80 people celebrating a birthday. Wow! The atmosphere is pretty cool. High tops held up by Jack Daniel’s barrels, neon and metal signage, and a nice outside seating area are my favorite features of this place. We knew a few people in the band that was playing. The server was friendly and attentive, but she didn’t know much about the beer or the menu. Asked her questions and we could tell she was making guesses, and a few times she would leave to ask. Drinks took a while to come out but we understood the large group being present. The food came out staggered(ie two people would get their order, then a few minutes would pass and someone else would get their food and so on). We had a group of eight. I ordered the mahi with broccoli and caesar salad. It came with rice and mango salsa. The mahi smelled really fishy. It tasted fine but there was no real flavor. The broccoli was cooked ok but again, lacking Amy real flavor. The rice was no different. The salad was great. No yellow and just the right amount of dressing. The mango salsa could have been done better. Just some raw mangos, tossed with jalapeños, onion, tomato and some spice. My boyfriend ordered the rum glazed wings. He said they were pretty good. We ordered beers. They didn’t have yuengling. The bartender made a great substitute recommendation of the Motorworks V-Twin Lager. It was very similar, just a little more bitter. We’ll come back if we find ourselves in the area again to give them another chance. I’m sure they might have been thrown off with that big group.

I recently went there with a group of 20 to celebrate my birthday and was totally blown away by the atmosphere, hospitality and food. Not your typical«bar food», more like a great local restaurant that happens to have an awesome bar also… The staff was extremely professional and accommodating to our large group. Highlights were definitely the pulled pork and fish tacos. The night ended with some great live music. Will continue to recommend this local jewel of a place to friends and plan on returning again and again for that pulled pork.

If your tired of the Chain Restaurants, Twisted Tap is exactly what you’re looking for. Craft Beer selection and local brewery offerings, full bar, menu has wide variety from burgers, wings, salads to fish tacos. Our group had a Steak Tacos, a Good Bar Burger, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Mahi Mahi Tacos. I loved their homemade French fries! So good! We didn’t try any of their appetizers on this visit, but we will be back.

Been here twice. The dinners, appetizers and beers on tap are excellent. Recommend it. One of my favorite places being in florida. Owners are very nice and the whole crew. Chef Charlie is a excellent chef. Thanks for a good time.

Love this great new restaurant in DeBary! The food has a little twist ;) on your classic bar and grill fare. We had the Jersey chips(potato wedges covered in pulled pork champagne brown gravy and cheese, lots of cheese!!!) and the fried banana peppers, both were delicious. The interior is really nicely decorated, lots of whisky barrels and wood and the service was outstanding!!! Check this place out!

We have visited the Twisted Tap on several occasions and the trends are consistent. Good price is slightly above expectations, but quality has been very good and consistent. Jersey Fries are top notch along with the teriyaki wings. The service and speed are far below average. The wait from the kitchen is sadly disappointing, with an average of 20 – 25 minutes on each visit. The staff seems very disorganized and untrained. This could become a potential train wreck if the management fix quickly. Drink selections are awesome! They have a ton on taps and they continue to adjust the selection. Menus are okay, a little unsure of why printed menus on computer paper they are too lazy to reprint but simply cross out???

Finally got to try the Twisted Tap last night. My husband, who is not a drinker, thought it would be more of a bar atmosphere. He was pleasantly surprised to find that it was more of a restaurant than a bar. Service was great, owners are welcoming, décor is tasteful and clean, and the band on Friday night was great too! We only had wings last night which were cooked fresh not precooked as some places do. The menu has everything from steak to sandwiches though. It will take me many trips to try all the variety of interesting beers on draft :-)

Had a great dinner here. Friendly service, JP was our server and did a great job with telling us about some favorites. Pig out Chips were great & the Mac and Cheese with blackened chicken was yummy. Prices were reasonable.

Just had a great meal at the Twisted Tap. We were a large group and had great service and delicious, well prepared dinners. Great variety available and nicely decorated. We plan to return often as it’s in our neighborhood. They have a new chef with a lot of experience. The prices are in line with quality restaurants in the area. Happy Hour until 7 with house wine at three $.

Located close to the library, in the location that an Italian restaurant failed to capture the town’s love, comes the Twisted Tap. Met a couple friends there on a Tuesday night to give it a try. Tasteful interior décor, from the tables to the restrooms. Excellent service! Even though the food was s-l-o-w to come out, the waiter(Eric) was pleasant and attentive and not overbearing at all. Overall the food quality was good, but a bit overpriced, in my opinion.($ 85 for 3 adults) Seemed to be a good crowd and very«lighthearted» atmosphere. I’d love to see this place succeed, and to do that I think they need to knock 10−15% off of their prices.quickly. Being a bit hidden by the, unfortunate, building orientation, this place will only succeed via word of mouth in this town, and with prices like $ 13 for the«big pretzel» appetizer and $ 6-$ 7 for the couple beers we tried, word will spread that this is a «nice place, but not worth the money.» It’s definitely worth checking out and we will be going back again soon to see if other items on the menu hold a bit more«bang for the buck».

So I have heard some friends rave about this place. Tried it out and was happy overall. The craft beer selection is great and the food was good. The interior is really cool. The owner actually crafted the inside himself. Very cool. I only had the wings but they were great. Service a little slow but very friendly. Had to bump it down to 3 stars. Slllloooowwww service. They really need to pick it up

New bar and grill on DeBary’s main drag. We liked the craft beer selection; beer prices were great but food prices were higher than expected. Service was good — once the server finally arrived at our table. Loved the interior. We ordered the huge pretzel with ‘beer cheese.’ It turned out the cheese dip was their Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup, which didn’t really taste of cheese so much as pureed vegetables — cauliflower being the overwhelming flavor. The pretzel was great and we asked for brown mustard on the side. More pretzel salt would have improved it as well but I’d order it again especially with a large group. On the plus side, during the day I would feel comfortable dining here with my kids since it isn’t strictly a bar.
