Hal’s Package Store

I am beyond delighted to see that Hal’s package has re opened. Although when I look at it now with the gates always drawn and a large sign proclaiming they are open I can’t help but think of «Clerks» and the «I assure you, we are open» sign. Regardless, this place is clean, well lit, fair prices and friendly staff. Hal’s has a pretty good mix of beer, wine and liquor. Why no 5 stars you ask? They have a lot, but not everything. If I had some fancy formal event Hal’s is not where I’d come. I stock up my house here and buy for casual events, house parties etc. They probably won’t know what kind of wine to match with my meal. That being said, Hal’s is by far my favorite liquor store in Belvedere Park. Oh yeah, they aren’t in plain sight from the street. Hal’s is kind of hidden behind the Well’s Fargo. Welcome back Hal’s!
