McDonald’s

The chemicals in your food is awful. There is nothing on the menu that is local or organic, and you make no effort to stop torturing animals. I will not be going to your location, or any others, unless you completely change every aspect of your business.

Food and service is very good here at this 24hr location. However, the big guy hanging out and sitting on the front counter talking to the employees with his boombox playing music is not so good. Rather inappropriate.

Well, it’s McDonald’s. You know what you’re getting food-​wise. The only variable is the service. Here’s what you need to know:
This is not the closest McDonald’s to my house. But I come to this one anyway because their milkshake machine is never «broken» late at night.
Unlike some other McDonald’s in the area who shall not be named… COUGHCOUGH COMMERCE DRIVE LOCATION COUGHCOUGH.
Excuse me, I need some Ricola or something.
But yes, friendly and efficient service seals the deal for me. And it’s open 24 hours all day err’ day!

I see nothing wrong with this McDonald’s. For me it’s the closest one at Emory, open 24/​7, and serves exactly what you’d expect from a McDonald’s.
They have no problem allowing me to push my bike inside (very much appreciated for a carbon bike) and the staff has always been courteous although perhaps not always ecstatic. There was even an incident where I ordered 10 McNuggets and realized 20 would be only 1 dollar more and they were flexible enough to just charge me for a cookie to make up the difference.

If you’re some pretentious asshole who only eats natural foods, don’t come here. If you’re some morbidly obese slob who eats here every day, please stop, America already has enough problems.
But, if you’re like me, and you’re leaving a party at 2 AM — you’re really hungry and just want to get some sleep and don’t want to cook anything, so you a need a place that cheap, fast, and open late — then stop by the drive thru and get some food. McDoubles are $ 1 plus tax, and they are good.
And do not be one of those apologist who is like «Yeah, this stuff is ok for fast food, but it’s not like a real burger». NO — it taste good, period. If it didn’t, they would have served billions of people, and your ‘real’ burger joint wouldn’t be going out of business next month. I’m not going to say this is the best burger or something like that, but just shut up and enjoy it.
I also like to occasionally stop by when they have some new or seasonal item to try. McRib — not that good. Shamrock shake — good, not great. 50 McNuggets for $ 10 — great deal.
Yes, I’m sure their food is unhealthy and loaded with preservatives, so don’t eat it all the time. But it is fast, convenient, cheap, and open late — everything you can ask for from a fast food place.
