Mojo somehow seems to be getting worse and worse every time I go. I think I finally learned my lesson and will no longer go here. Went on a very slow Sunday during peak lunch time. Wanted a beer, but they were out of everything I tried to order. It took our extremely aloof and inattentive server 10 minutes to tell me they were out of one of the beers I ordered. Ordered a side salad to start, which took 30 minutes to come out. Ordered a pizza which took about 45 minutes to come out with about 4 customers in the entire place. When our terrible server finally dropped of the pizza she didn’t say a word nor did she ever come back to refill any of our cups or ask how we were doing. The place is also usually filthy, but I used to forgive them for that as long as the food and service was decent. Now, however, it’s just a dirty, crappy restaurant with a staff that genuinely seems to struggle accommodating anyone. Oakhurst deserves better than this. Get your act together, Mojo.

The servers here are constantly out to lunch and don’t seem to realize the specifics of their job. Last time I was here my server was more interested in talking to her crush than even paying attention to me. When I asked for anything it was like a big inconvenience for her. The wings here aren’t memorable or the pizza.

Sadly, they didn’t have their«mojo» at Mojo Pizza N’ Pub for our first visit there last night. Briefly, draft beers served with way too much foam. Medium pizza had good toppings, but was entirely too salty and the crust was burnt… not overcooked but burnt. We ate what we could as it was getting late, otherwisde we’d have had them bake another one. Took a long time to get food, even though the place was not that busy. Service was about a C-.

OMG. I don’t think the service could be worse. About a year ago, I vowed never to come back here because the service was so bad. However, it is a convenient location so we tried again. The food took FOREVER and the waitress was nowhere to be found. We thought maybe she went home. Never coming back. Too many other good pizza restaurants with people that actually wait on you and food that actually comes before an hour.

Great little neighborhood joint. We are from Chicago and stopped by Mojo’s one day on the way back to our hotel. It was just what we were looking for. Great pizza and beer. Casual and unique. Played a game of Uno with the kids while we waited for the pizza. Great selection of pizza options and we all loved it!

Friendly service, tasty pizza, casual vibe, giant slices. Ordered the bbq pizza which came with a generous helping of meat. My husband and I shared a salad and two slices and we were stuffed! Tip: use Scoutmob for 50% off up to $ 10.

Meh. The pizza is inconsistent, ranging from very good NY-ish to deflated overcooked WTH? The buffalo wings ain’t bad. The service is likewise inconsistent, and on more than two occasions, diners in our parties received entrées more than 30 minutes apart. In the plus side, it’s kid-friendly, with video games and pinball machines, an a freezer full of ice cream bars.

Ate here on a very busy Valentines night with a large group(30+) sitting nearby. I mentioned the group in the hopes that it explains the poor service. Our server could barely be bothered to speak to us. The salad was standard but decent. It is the reason I did not give this place one star. The pizza was another story. Although the crust was adequate and the sauce was good, the cheese was the most hands-down disgusting cheese I have ever had on a pizza. Think Dominoes, only worse. If you are a pizza snob who chooses non-chain pizza expecting better quality, this is NOT the place for you. Wish I had stopped at the salad, since I can’t seem to get the putrid cheap cheese taste out of my mouth. Gross!!! Please change cheese suppliers, Mojos. Your customers deserve better.

Off the Scout Mob trail we saw a deal for Mojo and since we were feeling like having pizza we decided to give it a go. Mojo’s back parking lot must be shared since there really wasn’t anyone in the restaurant, but it was fairly hard to find a spot. So noting that, parking is in back, but you may be stuck on the street. Inside it seemed pretty chill and laid back. For the most part the place was empty with only a few at the bar and a leisurely group at a booth at the front. The place looks like it could get pretty busy on nights with a stage ready for a live band, TV’s at the bar playing any relevant games and so forth, but for that afternoon, it was chill. Pizza, it’s what we came for, and so we got the«Risin’ Sun.» An inspired Hawaiian style pizza with a sweet and spicy twist. In place of ham came the jalapenos and a dash of red peppers. It sounded good, but the execution not so much. The ingredients aren’t fresh, no biggie, not like I haven’t had canned pineapple wedges before or del monte pickled jalapenos on a pizza before. While it wasn’t a disaster, it should be said that it was kinda sad looking, and not very tasty. No real sweetness to it from the pineapple, but what could be accused of trying to mask something terrible with one ingredient that has some flavor at all, that being the jalapenos. They were about all that had a reasonable flavor to it. The cheese was a congealing mess, and forget trying to eat it later as it just got worse cold or re-heated. I’m giving them an okay, since they aren’t necessarily that awful, just more a let down to fairly unimpressed. If we were in the area and wanted pizza I’d possibly consider them again, but definitely a different pizza.

The pizza is good, the«ambiance» is less than good. I am always a fan of pizza-by-the-slice places and this place did not disappoint, at least food wise. I got the Rising Sun pizza(basically jalapenos and pineapple) and it was very good(and very spicy) and the slice was big! They also have a great selection of beers on tap and the waiters are very good at giving recommendations. I sat at the bar so it didn’t take toooo long for someone to take my order but I did end up waiting a while for the actual pizza. Based on the staff conversations I heard, they seem a little all over the place and if you were at a table it did take longer for them to take your order/give you your food. My biggest problem with the place was the noise. I understand that it’s a family place and there are going to be kids around — that’s fine, I love kids. But this place wasy just rowdy. The kids were running around, crying, hitting each other, screaming, you name it really. Obviously this is not the fault of the establishment but I also got the feeling that this wasn’t abnormal for a Friday night. If I’m in the area I would go again because the food was good(and pretty cheap), but I’m not going out of my way to come back. Note: they serve the pizza on a tray that has paper on it that tears very easily. Either eat the pizza by hand or move the paper before you use your knife to cut the pizza otherwise you may end up eating bits of paper.

My friends brought me here for a welcome to my neighborhood lunch and it was so fun. This place has a great vibe and huge/delicious slices. I find that my pizza slices are often either huge or delicious and I appreciated the overlap. There were great flavor combinations for everyone and some really interesting New Orleans inspired flavors. I loved that it was great for groups or for people who just wanted to sit and catch up on work in the afternoon.

Look, Oakhurst is my hood I’m not about to say anything bad about this joint. My kids love their pizza, heck, they practically live on it.(Don’t judge me.) The pizzas are pretty good, freshly made and so are their salads. They’re open to making the crust anyway you like if you ask nicely. Im a New Yorker by heart, The city where pizza lives and breathes on street corners theres no comparisons.

I often get delivery from here, had many salads, a few calzones, wings, & pizza(Rising Sun is our favorite) and everything is good. It is a great local pizza joint & much better than any generic chain. Patio is great to enjoy in the warmer months, good people watching spot.

I loved loved loved their pizza with extra roast garlic and sausage, as well as the white pizza, and beer selection. Loved the fun décor and porch sitting. I agree re indifferent wait staff and too casual environment, but the food to me made up for it. I won’t say it’s the best pizza in the galaxy but I will say i never had to leave the neighborhood to get pizza

This review is long over due! We moved into the neighborhood a few months ago and this is one of the regular places we eat at. It’s about a ten minute walk from our house so it’s a nice treat to have a pizza joint close by. The food is typically great! We tend to order either the Hurricane(classic pizza with lots of toppings) or the very protein topped pie, Graveyard. Both of these always come out hot and delicious. We also usually order a bread sticks and wings to start things off. Caution, the Hot Buffalo sauce on the wings packs some heat! Two things that prevents me from giving Mojo Pizza 5 stars. First, the service, though well intentioned and friendly, is often slow. So, if you are not in a rush you’ll enjoy this place. Second, the mens’ restroom is pretty grimy looking. It could use a nice refurbishment. Overall, I really like this place!

The Good: You can bring your dog with you if you dine-in on the patio after you go to the nearby dog park. The Bad: I’ve tried Mojo’s three times: twice in the evening and once for lunch. Each time it has taken 40+ minutes to get our food. Tonight, we ordered two strombolis – and again it took 40 minutes. Finally, we decided to get our food to go and whoever put the box together didn’t do it right and the strombolis almost fell out the side. Waitstaff provides indifferent service. Food is average, definitely not good enough to merit a lot of waiting and very bad service. Third time is the last straw. We’re never going back. This place is pathetic.

Had a hurricane slice. The size made it filling and although it was fairly tasty it was obvious toppings had been added to an old pepperoni slice… and the extra cheese on top was barely melted. At least the server was prompt and nice.

I got Pizza delivered, and while yes it was slow(no slower than expected on a Saturday Night, though), it was DELICIOUSDELICIOUSDELICIOUS. I got a cheese pizza with basil, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms and everything was just perfect. Definitely going to be a regular joint on my vegan-cheat days. I noticed someone called it «Fellini’s» average… I guess Fellini’s-type pizza is my absolute favorite because Mojo and Fellini’s are my favorite so far in Atlanta!

This place appears to be a great pizzeria and pub, but it’s obvious that looks can be deceiving. Upon entering, my fiancé and I were not greeted. You are allowed to seat yourself and after waiting a few minutes, I grabbed our own menus. The two employees that were having a great conversation among themselves, then, expressed that they would be with us in a moment. I guess a moment means«after were done talking» because neither moved but continued to talk. Luckily, another waiter was on the way. She was very nice but after reading a few reviews on Unilocal,we decided to leave.

I really don’t understand how a pizza place could stay in business so long when they can’t even fully cook the dough. It’s far too pricey for what you get. I would take fellinis over mojo any day.

What a waste of space for our neighborhood period. My family and I went to this restaurant after my son got out of school because he wanted to eat pizza. we sat at a table for over 15 minutes. There where two guys working the oven area a Latino and a Caucasian man. The Caucasus dirty looking man turned around leaned over looked at us, but failed to come over and take our order. He Simple ignored us. We had to leave because we got tired of waiting. We will never visit place again even thought it’s walking distance from our new home. I hope they go out of business soon.

MoJo is in a cute and trendy Oakhurst neighborhood, so eating outside is an option when the weather is nice. I have never been when it is crowded, so finding seating has not been a problem. They sell very large pizzas both whole and by the slice. One slice was plenty for me paired with a side salad. It was really tasty. You have the option of building your own as well. I know they have subs and different pastas on the menu as well, but I did not try them. This is is a family friendly restaurant and is a great option for pizza.

Felini’s Pizza in slow motion. That’s how I’d describe this place. Don’t be fooled by the creative descriptions of the pizzas on the menu. They taste very standard — like Felini’s. Except you’re going to be waiting an eternity for that pizza. So you’d better sit outside and enjoy the ambiance. Cause you’re gonna get a lot of it. And this is true when ordering slices, not just whole pies. WHY??? Aren’t the slices pretty much just sprinkled with toppings and warmed up? I went with kids, thinking our dining experience would be sub 45 minutes total. It took 45 minutes just to receive the food. Crazy.

I ordered delivery and decided on the calzone with roasted garlic, feta cheese, and pepperoni. It was a decent calzone. It had a good amount of ricotta and feta and ample pepperoni. The problem I had is that it contained, no joke, at least two entire heads of garlic. I like garlic but that doesn’t mean that I want to eat two heads of it. Way too much. Cut down on the garlic and I’d like this a lot more. I posted a picture that will show the amount of garlic, too.
