Great beer selection. Hard to beat, really. Better than many larger, more fawned over stores(read: hipster). Owner is always helpful and incredibly nice. Nice selection of wines including some nice Willamette Valley Pinot Noir’s priced to sell. Highly reccomend.

This is a great liquor store. Excellent selection of beers and spirits. Understand that it reeks of smoke so, if you are sensitive to that, this is not your place. Run by a jovial fellow at the front of the store and full of interesting characters. Good prices. He’s figured out that I’m a local beer fan and so gives me tips on new local brews. One of the best things about moving out to this neighborhood. Parking is a bit tricky.

This is my go-to place, and I’m not just saying that because it’s at the top of my street. From craft ales to value wines to boutique spirits, S&N can meet any need you may have. One of the nicer aspects is that Rocky knows his customers so you can expect great recommendations or maybe a hard-to-find beer set aside for you. It’s a pretty diverse customer base, so you have construction guys buying suitcases of Miller Lite next to business ladies buying a case of wine. Keg rentals, wine suggestions, ice, mixers, tobacco, and lottery round out a very full-service shop. Yes, I’m incredibly biased because I’ve been going here for years. Rocky, Juan, and Ali are top-notch guys who run a great shop. A word of caution though: the parking can get very dicey with a busy intersection, a bus stop, and a pet grooming business to contend with. Friday afternoons you’ll usually see cars having to park in a next-door office park and walking over. Best bet is to pull in on the side facing the gas station.

Smaller, but closer to my house, than Toco Giant. Also carries Buffalo Trace bourbon. Prices here are usually better than elsewhere, and they manage to squeeze enough into their store to offer a good selection of everything. The guys who work there know their stuff and are always ready to offer suggestions, and not just for something more expensive.

I never thought I’d love a package store, but I have had nothing but good experiences there. In addition to having a good selection and great sales, they are SO helpful! Whenever I have a party or need a bottle of wine or some beer for any reason, they gentleman behind the counter has offered great suggestions. He is so knowledgeable and friendly, I feel like I learn about something new whenever I stop in. He also has a great memory for his customers — he remembers what beers my husband has bought and has made suggestions based on past purchases. It’s just a really affordable, well-stocked place where the service is fantastic!

«24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?» –Stephen Wright This IS your drunk Dad’s package store! Small, but with a great inventory, great prices. I am always impressed with the selection of beer, wine and alcohol, and more impressed with the sales they have. The service at the counter is ALWAYS pleasant and fun. Good package store if you are in the area!
