Set-It-Off Hair Studio

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Tony gave me a 12:30 appointment and I arrived on time. He opened the door for me, I reminded him that we spoke the day before and that all I wanted was a wash and set. I sat there until 3:30.(yes 3 hrs) still waiting for him. There were others there, but he was clearly overbooked and worked very slowly. During this entire time, he never said a SINGLE word to me. I did not want to rush him through an other patron, because I don’t want anyone rushing on me, but some sort if acknowledgement or apology for this ridiculously long wait time would have been the professional thing to do. I finally just walked out. The shop was dirty, the mirrors are broken, there were cigarette butts on the floor. I have photos of all this. The young lady who does the weaves does great work. She finished 3 people in the time I waited to be serviced. I will never go back! I’m only giving 1 star because I must give a rating. I wish they had a Thumbs Down button.

I have to add a star because they won’t let me save it. They don’t deserve any stars. I had a terrible experience at set it off. I asked for honey brown and came out with blonde hair. He straight bleached my hair. I was pissed. Me being me I still payed the $ 80. I cried my hair fell out. Oh my I add the dryers was not working properly. He was banging on the dryer while I was sitting under it. My hair was dry. The cut was like a hacked. He was an hour late when I had an appointment. He was snotty acting. All around terrible experience. I was referred here but the girl that referred me wear pieces, and I wear my natural hair no relaxers. Maybe set it off speciality is weave.

I’ve been getting my hair done here for YEAAARRSSSSS! I relocated over 650 miles (VA) and I still manage to make it to Set it off to get my hair done when needed!!! Its just that serious!
Its not one stylist in there that cant do the style you want! Very nice staff, different personalities and your bound to find a stylist to fit your needs.
I have no complaints when it comes to my hair. I see Tiffany she’s the best!!! She deals with my lateness and last minute appointments! You will definitely get your monies worth at Set It Off!
Make sure you allocate enough time in your schedule to get your hair done cause nothing that’s worth it is QUICK! Its best to make an appointment but you can walk in if need be.
