We typically enjoy staying here several times per year. It’s clean and comfortable and the staff friendly except on this visit. We arrived Christmas Eve and the front desk person, John, seemed put out and indifferent. Christmas morning, after waiting for a family of 4 to make their waffles I tried to make mine but the waffle batter wasn’t coming out. I brought this to the attention of John. From behind the desk, and without bothering to look up from what he was doing, he said«breakfast ends at 9:30». Checking the batter dispenser, it was empty. I brought this to John’s attention and he said, clearly irritated, «I said breakfast is over at 9:30. Go somewhere else». The housekeeper looked on in disbelief. Looking up at the clock on the lobby TV, it was 9:34. I wished John Scrooge a Merry Christmas and headed back to our room. The owners here are super friendly and welcoming and hospitable. John seems like an odd choice to represent them in their absence.

The«Newly Renovated Rooms» sign is such a lie. They replaced a few pieces, but not all. The floors were dirty and there are dead and live flies in the room. The sign on the door says the room rate is $ 150. I wouldn’t pay more than $ 50 a night for this room. Only plus is there is a fridge and microwave in the room.
