Usually love this store — great selection, beautiful items– but had a negative experience with a staff member. I was trying on sunglasses and walking around the store with 2 pairs. Probably looked a bit like a spaz because I took some selfies and looked into different mirrors for various lighting and since I was planning on spending over $ 100 on sunglasses was obsessing a bit! Anyway one of the staff members definitely profiled me as a potential thief. I was so insulted! I’ve never stolen anything in my life nor would I be lame enough to go into a store with my child and teach her the good old value of stealing overpriced sunglasses. Ugh. I didn’t have a good response to the rudeness at the time besides not giving them a sale but here it is after the fact. Maybe it was my unfashionable mom pants from Lands End that made her suspicious?

Never a bad experience in this store, the staff are clearly good at what they do and go to great lengths to make sure you find what you’re looking for in the store, they even scan the items to help you see if the size you want is still available online. They also help you look in other stores if it’s not completely sold out. The sales sections are much more organized than the other locations I’ve been to. The store decorations are always so pretty and artistic. The best Anthro!

I agree with Betts C. I’ve been to literally 30 different Anthropolgie’s and by far this is the best in the way of customer service. The staff is consistently helpful but not overbearing and returns, credits, refunds are no issue at all. I’ve been to some other stores and the staff couldn’t be snobbier. Really ruins a relaxing shopping moment. However Dedham, gets a 5 star.

Love Anthro. Love to hate this one, especially because of the parking in this outdoor mall. It’s ridiculous. But that’s not the store’s fault. This location usually boasts a pretty good sale selection. The staff is super helpful. For example, no attitudes when they are asked to get another size, piece of jewelry or belt to try with an outfit. The staff also knows how to dress the store. Their mannequins are always looking sharp, and lead you into the store.

I have to give this particular Anthro a shout-​out, because it perhaps has the most welcoming and efficient staff I’ve experienced lately. And I say this as a (shame shame) very experienced Anthro shopper. Not once but twice when I have had a problem getting a price adjustment or finding something wrong with an item, they have quickly and apologetically set it straight, even though I hadn’t bought either of those items at their store. They are chatty without being overwhelming, and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The store itself is not as large as the one downtown, but is probably equal in size to the Cambridge location. It has a comfortable feel, and the sale room is nicely separated, which is good for when mayhem hits it. They do not, however, carry the full line of shoes, so just keep that in mind for your shopping.
As a past Anthro employee, I can say that I truly appreciate the overall experience each store offers. Of all the Anthros is the area, I think this particular store’s staff is the most welcoming, least pretentious, and the most enthusiastic. Even though Dedham isn’t exactly close to my house, I will continue to plan little out of the way jaunts just to visit this store.

ahhhh what a dangerous store to have so close to home, i love it, pricey but the clothes and home goods are amazing and original. the visual presentation of the store overall is fantastic

The great thing about any Anthropolgie (and there are many of these stores) is that tehy are beautiful and have a lot of natural elements.
The downside is the price of beauty.
Walk in and prepare to splurge if you buy anything at all.
Good sales though…
