Walgreens Dedham is great. Sales people are SO helpful and made sure I got what I needed, and they were super friendly too! The selection and size are not overwhelming but not crowded.

The staff here is so great and there’s no line like at CVS.

I love this store. They are way better than the CVS across the street. I was there the Friday before Christmas to pick up a few things. It was actually very busy in there, but that didn’t stop every employee that I walked by from asking me if I needed help and I wasn’t the only one — they asked every customer in there during the time I was there. It is a good experience every time I go in there. The store associates and the pharmacy staff are very helpful and friendly. In this day in ago were customer service is a dying art, it’s nice to know that the Walgreens in Dedham know how to treat their customers.

I’ve never developed photos here nor filled any prescriptions so my review is strictly about the store and service only.
I prefer Walgreens over the other chains because it’s not a store where shelves are only 5 feet high (CVS) and when I can’t find a product in any of the other drugstores, I can usually find it at Walgreens. I don’t know if it’s the layout but every Walgreens that I’ve been to, just appears to contain more inventory and physical space than the other drugstores. The store will have weekly sales so you can get a few nice deals here and there from time to time on the stuff you want. You can shop without someone looking over your shoulder. The return policy is a snap (a manager has to come up to the register to assist) and so far all the employees that I’ve met are friendly. I also noticed that older people tend to work at Walgreens, whereas CVS typically employs high school kids.
My only suggestion is that sometimes its inventory will change the next time you visit, so that will throw you off (for example, you want to buy something you saw today a month later — but it’s not there anymore), and the selection can ALWAYS get bigger, you can’t have enough!

Yes, it is nice and new and fresh and clean but I had a horrible experience here with the photo counter. I ordered some prints online and arrived a few hours later to pick them up. Instead of just asking for my name and looking for my prints in the bin, the clerk asked me for my phone number, spent an inordinate amount of time looking up something on the computer and only after a few minutes actually asked for my name and looked in the bin. I also I had a coupon I had received a few weeks ago with another order for $ 7 off my next photo order. However, I was told that I needed to enter the coupon code online before I submitted my online order and that the could not give me the $ 7 off. There was absolutely no indication on the coupon that this was the case. Nothing on the coupon said enter this code online or anything to that effect. I spoke with the assistant manager who would not give me a break and just credit the $ 7. I thought this was totally unfair since it was not indicated on the coupon. Also, I thought this was a poor management decision on her part. Had they just credited me the $ 7 I’d continue using Walgreens for my photos but now, they have lost a customer for good.

Just Opened — Very Clean (probably because it just opened) — not as much selection as CVS though, but Walgreens in general definitely has a better pharmacy, this one has a really nice looking waiting area.
