Come here often for a slice or two. I am also partial to the meatballs, garlic knots, salads, and zeppolles. They are friendly and very clean. I also like their Grandma’s pie. There’s indoor seating and tvs. Though I think most people have their food delivered or pick up to go. Recommended.

Meatball sandwich needs more or bigger meatballs. Bread was tasty though. Chicken Parmesan sandwich was okay — breading on the chicken had a bitter taste. The cheese in the mozzarella sticks was not melted and the same bitter taste in the breading.

I ordered 49.00 of food from this establishment tonight and while I have been disappointed in the past, I thought I would give them one last chance. The mozzarella sticks were under cooked and cold. The fried calamari @ 7.95 came cold, rubbery and obviously a frozen product, certainly not fresh. It also was an appetizer portion, a complete rip off for that price. The Stromboli was good, as was the chicken wings and cannoli’s. I usually don’t write negative reviews however its to the point where, as consumers’, we have to put our foot down when it comes to consistent unacceptable food. We stopped ordering pizza from this place because it was routinely cold and watery on top as well as under cooked. I have been in the food and beverage business for over 30 years and this is completely unacceptable. They have lost my business.

We were born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and have been living in South Florida for a number of years. Not many good pizzerias down here, but Michaels is an exception. Even though the owners are from the Bronx, as I understand it, walking in is like a little bit of home. The thin crust pizza is REALLY good. Just like a native New Yorker likes it. Really like the grandma pizza. Walk over from the beach, or drive on over, Hillsboro just east of Federal. Highly recommend.

I plead with you fellow Unilocalers to not spend your hard earned money at this poorly run establishment. This pizza shop pulled the bait and switch. I ordered the napolatina pizza and received a cheese pie for the same price of $ 16.50. In addition as someone else wrote in their review the crust was so thin there was a hole in the pizza! No one cared to contact me. When i called to let them know that my order was mixed up the employee told me that they don’t make that pie anymore and that i was looking at an old menu — i ordered directly from the Unilocal app! I became frustrated since they were not willing to rectify the issues, uttered asshole, and hung up the phone. The«boss» called me back and began screaming at me for cursing at his employee and proceeded to call me a cunt at which time I promptly ended the call. I put the«holy» pizza in a bag and brought it to the restaurant. He continued to scream and berate me in front of about 5 other customers while i tried to plead my case. Another man at the counter exclaimed the pizza with a hole in it was an accident and if i wanted they would make me a new one. I opted to just leave taken advantage of. I prefer not to have another pizza made by a mouthy prison tattoo laden man who was disrespectful to a woman no less a customer with a pleadable case. Shame on you Michael’s Pizzeria!

Best place for pizza in Florida so far(been living in Fl 18 years). If you are looking for NY style pizza, this is the place. Service is quick and you can talk with a very committed group of employees.

I ordered two cuts. One sicilian with musrooms, one regular«grandma» slice. I really enjoyed both, but it’s a bit pricey to go that way… if I had time I’d have just ordered a whole pizza for almost the same price. The grandma was loaded with toppings, but they charge 50 cents per topping… so for two cuts it came to $ 8.65. Eggplant, red pepper, basil, mozzarella, and a balsamic drizzle. Awesome flavors for all of it, crust included. The sicilian crust was awesome. A delicious $ 8.65 it was, but 5 stars for a buck or two less for sure. If I ever am back here and have time I’ll just order a whole pie. Pretty heavy cigarette smell on my way through the hallway to the bathroom. Rough.

Well it’s been a while since I was back here and I have to tell you better then the first time! No matter where I go nobody I mean nobody has pizza like Michaels! Believe me when I tell you it’s the closest you will get to NY style pizza! I will drive from Miami to get Michaels Pizza because it’s the best! And I gotta tell you I like Michael the owner because he tells it like it is! And if you don’t like the Pizza he always says he will buy you a pie from the place of your choice! Anyway can’t wait to be back in Deerfield for work again so I can have a slice just like from the neighborhood!

My go to pizza place. Best value pizza around the area. The people are great, food is great. And they have an amazing deal on Tuesdays for $ 8 pizza pie. I inhale a pie, alone… so good…

Michaels has changed ownership but he is still there running everything. The new owner seems to want to change whats been working… it’s anyone’s guess how long Michael will stay there or move on to open elsewhere.

WARNINGWARNINGREDALERT I feel very compelled to share how horrible the pizza was NEVEREVERAGAIN!!! Cheap ingredients cheese was hard like it didn’t melt, my dog wouldn’t eat it and she loves pizza. Little Caesar’s is much better for a third of the cost. Stay with Sal’s Pizza or Big Louie’s, Thick and Thin much better pizza for a fair price. Just don’t order their pizza! YOUHAVEBEENWATNED

I eat here all the time. Super Tuesday is the best. All there pies are fresh and i like to eat it room temperature! Chicken parm pizza is really good. And if you like Sicilian go here. I dunno what this person is talking about service since you pick up and order your own food at the counter. Michaels is amazing for florida pizza im. from jersey and I only eat michaels here

Cheese pizza was really delicious but dough was almost nonexsistent on the bottom and I love thin crust. The spinach/white pizza was good but it was not cooked enough on the bottom so the ricotta cheese was starting to come through. I think they definitely need to cook the bottom of the pizza more. I’ll be sure to try this place more, since my office moved next to it, and update my review.

Best pizza around! Mike always takes care of us, as our office is right around the corner and Pizza Fridays are a common occurrence. Highly suggest the Sicilian! His 18′ Thin and Crispy and/or Meat Lover’s are equally amazing too! High quality cheese and toppings at affordable prices? You cannot beat this place. 5 star pizza joint all day!

Probably the best pizza I’ve had in Florida. I’m from Long Island NY, and I have been on a quest to find good pizza for the last 10 years. This place is legit. REALNY style pizza by the slice. Quality ingredients, no cutting corners, right temperature oven. Michael knows what he’s doing. This isn’t just«close enough” – this is the real deal. If you’re looking for a taste of home, or you just want 2 slices and a coke for less than 6 bucks, this is the place.
