Peking Tokyo Buffet

This location has been closed down for a while now and it has been torn down. Thank goodness.

the place is a roach palace, probably closed for good. by the board of health. and for those who ate there, what were you thinking?

Just went there MONDAY APRIL 27TH, 2015 and while I won’t lie and say I didn’t enjoy the food; MONDAY will be the last day I go. My dinner ended seeing a live roach crawling on the booth that I was dining on. GROSS…walked right out… …It’s a shame.

great food, great staff, highly recommend. i just went there with my husband and children and the staff was great

Excellent today… best hot & sour soup Ive had in a long time. Numerous types of sushi, clams, seafood, something for everyone and it was always refilled and hot… very friendly attentive waitress

Don’t waste your money haven’t been there in 2 years and is nothing like it use to be. Must of changed hands the food was tasteless and very poor quality. Very disappointed and will never go back! really wish Unilocal wouldn’t make you give a rating before posting because they don’t deserve this 1 star I had to give in order to post

I went to this place while waiting for one of my cars to be serviced at a dealership next door as there really wasn’t any other place to eat within walking distance. I am laughing my head off at some of the reviews of this restaurant citing delicious food, etc. They must be from employees /​fake profiles, as in reality this place is absolutely disgusting. The food is inedible, the plates and silverware are dirty, and the buffet area is a disgrace. Frankly, I am surprised the health department hasn’t shut this place down, and I hope they read this review, and that it triggers an inspection. To top it off, the staff is rude, and I was reprimanded for not finishing off my plate. I was merely trying to avoid getting sick from that biohazard they call food.

Very good. Took my 99-​year-​old mom this past Saturday night and she had two helpings, complete with appetizers and dessert, on a full plate. The bananas were fresh and the red glaze was a nice touch, and the shrimp was excellent. The small clams on the half shell were very tasty. The dessert bar is awesome. All-​around fantastic experience. You could go seven days straight and never eat the same food. Will definitely be going back, probably every Saturday.

The food was delicious. The price was very reasonable. It was crowded so the food turnover was good. The décor was nice enough. I would definitely go back.

This place was the most filthy Restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of going to.
The place had a disgusting rest room. The dining area was filthy. Rugs blackened with filth. Order of mold and mildew. I lost my appetite and left. Next day I notice a orange sign on the door and it was closed by Sanitation Dept. Turns out the Restaurant was infested with rats.

Went there a couple of days ago.
We were coming back from Aventura Mall and decided to take the scenic route along US1 to avoid somewhat the rush hour. We decided for some Chinese and only found some dumps along the way until we found Peking Tokyo.
Outside looked inviting enough so we cruise in.
Found not to many people but preferred it that way so we could enjoy the ambiance.
The food?
Well, the sushi was a little disappointing but again maybe it was because we arrived between serving or something. I love the eel but there was none. So no tip for them.
The best thing that I enjoyed was the ribs that were tasty and well cooked in a beautiful sauce. Observed that the salads and fruits were all fresh so I ended with a plate. No bad.
The service was as expected, nor friendly nor rude. Just to the point but again we didn’t come to make friends.
We found the place a little run down but again by what we have read a lot a guest visits this place so the traffic has made its mark. Found it clean, though.
Would I come back?
I could give them another chance maybe at dinner time. But first I will try another place further up on Hillsboro.
Let see what happens.

The place was a bit empty, but that allowed my beautiful Asian Goddess of a server to spend a lot of time socializing with us. The food was pretty good for buffet and also pretty freshly made.

This is SECOND BEST in ny list. I come here mostly for their Sushi and their Stuffed Cheesy Oysters. Once again overall the cleanliness of this place is moderately acceptable. No one will talk to you so don’t even bother with it. You are there to eat in not to converse with your waitress. The food is definitely worth trying. Nothing else to expect from a Chinese buffet. But you will really enjoy the sushi selection and their rice does not taste like old refrigerator

Absolutely surprised even after some reviews!
I really like this place! They’re not shy on the selection, the ingredients and the sauces (buffets tend to be on the bland side) but not this place. The price is great too! Makes it affordable to eat there just about every day. But I don’t. Lol. I’ll stop in at least once when I’m in town ;)
I’m big on buffets because I have a need to order more than 5 things off the menu and the bill to match but if I want it quick and cheap, I resort to buffets and I’m better than ok with this place

Place was closed by health dprtmnt but since it reopened its awesome and all the pretty waitresses are nice and smiling. Love that place.

This place SXXKS. I dont know why people still writing good reviews about it. This is probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to.
First of all, I am a Chinese, and I am saying the food in this restaurant is neither Chinese or Japanese.
I ate the sashimi first, what caught my attention was i cannot taste the favor of the Salmon, at first, i thought it was my problem. But i found out later that it was because the Salmon was frozen before sever. Yup, i know they need to be frozen to keep fresh. But the Salmon i had in this restaurant was obviously not fresh at all. We even found freaking ice in the Salmon meat. Considering it might cause us health problem, we decided not to eat them.
What s more, KFC and Burger King can make better french fries and fried chicken than this place. They were freaking COLD and SOFT!!! Not crispy at all, and not fresh at all obviously.
At last, when we were about to sign on the receipts, the waitress hold one of our’s credit card, and as we did not give any tips (we all not felt like giving tips after having such horrible food and paid 11 bucks for each of us.), the waitress stand there and asked for tips and wouldnt give my var back to me. Are you fxxking kidding me!!! I have never ever experenced anything like this before.
People, dont go there. We went because we still see some positive comments about this place and decieded to go and check it out. But turned out to be a big mistake.
Last but not least, I will not go back to this place another time in my life. As I said, this is THE WORST experence I have ever has in my entire life.
And I am looking forward seeing this place close down. I will be very happy to see that day coming.

I do agree with some of the others that this buffet was better before they reopened. Some of their food is good and and some of it ended up in a napkin on my plate. Some of the sushi tasted horrid so I had to stick with the sashimi. The buffet still has a good variety of options with some good tasting dishes, but you might have to search for that dish.

I will not go bak to this place again. The food suck so bad now, some are just too hard, like its been there way too long and some just look gross.

When you walk into a restaurant, and you can smell the dirty carpet, the experience goes down hill from there.

Not bad! I am a huge fried rice fan, however when fried rice is more «yellow» than brown, I’m not impressed. Unfortunately, this was the case here. The buffet tables had a lot to offer. They weren’t as cleanly as one would hope, but what do you expect for all you can eat dinner for $ 10?
My parents love this place, so don’t get me wrong, it’s not horrible and i’ll probably come back here and eat. It just would not be my first choice.
