This place is absolutely delicious! I have been in the food industry for 8 years(1⁄3 of my life) and I gotta say this is by far the best Chinese food in town. It’s 100% authentic, yummy and great soul food. The portions are huge and the large portions are definitely enough for two people! Orange Chicken is outstanding, Lo-Mein is off the chain and the pork fried rice is scrumptious. Ever since we ordered here a few weeks ago we order from there now once a week!!! It’s usually a 30 – 40 minute wait because the woman makes each dish fresh and per order! Totally worth the wait!!! I would recommend this place to anyone who is super hungry and is looking for some bomb Chinese food.

Moved into the neighborhood and needed to find a new go to for my Chinese fix, unfortunately this wasn’t it. General Tso was unlike any I have ever seen. Huge chunks of white meat chicken which wasn’t crispy at all, the breading came right off. The sauce was weird too, black in color, not sweet, no peppers in it. Crab Rangoon was pretty bad, very little filling and a sweet flavor to it. Fried rice was good, lots of pork and egg, and the egg roll was excellent. It appeared to have some ground chicken and the wrapper was crisp and very tender. There are probably some good dishes here but they don’t do my favorites very well.

The worst place ever! Food was bland not to mention found a rusty staple in my general Chow chicken! Do not go to this place for any reason whatsoever if it was the last place on earth! I had to throw away $ 40 worth of food because I didn’t want the chance to find other items in my food!

Overpriced, arrogant restaurant ! Waited 45 minutes for chicken fried rice! Once was enough, don’t waste time or money here !! Location is the most delightful thing about this restaurant ! Go to McDonalds instead !!

I would have to agree on the points that were given good and bad. The wait time is off. I was told 25 minutes and it took about 40 – 45 minutes. It is tucked away and hard to find. It is a DUMP for sure! However, the 2 employee’s were very nice and I thought the food was wonderful.

C’mon. You can’t beat the Wong. Sure, it’s not the greatest, but it’s good. They’ve got all the classics, made hot and tasty. It might take longer during the weekend rushes. You’re in South Florida — chill.

My «go to» Chinese place for east broward. This place has been here for years and all the local businesses order from here they deliver to my house as well. It is family run and they deliver too. Very friendly and nice people!

Please do not waste your time or money here. They have no concept of time. For a pickup they said 20min. We waited 40 min and the food wasn’t even good. Do yourself a favor stay away from here and try another place.

I’ve never been so torn over a review! This is teetering on a 3.5 and I went ahead and made it a 4 because the girl at the counter was such a sweetheart. So I live 2 minutes away from this place and somehow never tried it until the other day. I was getting beer next door and decided to take home a menu. Later that night, me and my girl were trying to come to a consensus on what to order, and after 15 minutes of argument we finally chose to share the Chicken Lo Mein Dinner Combination, which comes with fried rice, an egg-roll and soup. I love Egg-drop and she loves Won-Ton, so I ordered Egg-drop with the dinner combo, and then a separate small Won-Ton for her. They said we could come pick it up in 15 minutes, and it would be $ 12 and change. 20 – 25 minutes later we show up to pick up the order. Some people might be instantly turned off because the place is not aesthetically pleasing ATALL. It has the eerie reminiscence of an abandoned laundromat, it’s just for carry out-wait– there was 1 single table you could sit at if you wanted. Also, if you’re standing at the front counter you haven’t the slightest idea what’s going on in the back… because you can’t see, hear, or smell anything whatsoever. Seriously, how is it sooo quiet back there? The friendly girl working the counter greeted me with a huge smile that warmed my heart.(She got a nice, fat tip from me) You just don’t get service like that anymore ya’ know?! So we get home with the food, it smells and looks awesome. I attempt to sip my Egg-drop soup and the nuclear temperature of it burns my mouth and lips so bad I swore I hear the flesh bubble. This could be a good thing depending on who you ask, but I couldn’t fathom the science of it;(How a soup could be THAT hot, and remain in liquid form?) My girl LOVED her Won-Ton and the Lo Mein. We both liked the egg-roll which was REALLY good with the duck sauce. I adored the fried rice which had plenty of egg, and rocked an awesome texture(not dry or grainy like all the other shitty Chinese places in Florida) Everything was fantastic about the Lo Mein! Fresh ingredients, generous amount of chicken and for some odd reason… I am still hungry after eating a ton of it. I don’t know if it was the food, or just me. At this point, my soup has cooled to an edible temperature, I add the fried noodles, and it was good but nothing to write home about. It needed salt. All in all, I enjoyed Wong and will DEFINITELY be coming back. But next time, gonna try the Crab Rangoon, a different entrée, and I won’t be so eager to eat my soup ;-)

Moving to Florida I was told to be prepared to never taste good pizza or chinese food again but I am happy to report they were all wrong. Love the food at Wong’s!!!

This place is tucked off US1 in LHP. The food is always great. One lady is all you will ever see! She is great too! Down side — they are always busy! Order in as much advance as possible!
