When Dad was alive we came here for wursts and kartoffel salat. I like the bratwurst the most. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Emil’s European Sausage Kitchen is my go to Deli for the freshest best tasting sausages in the area, Great people and outstanding products. They never disappoint.

I was very pleased with the doughy pierogi’s, which were homemade. I am of German and Polish and French ancestry, and I love my pierogi’s. You need to purchase them. They’re so delicious. I will typically boil mine and simply add a little salt and pepper. I keep it simple. Others have been known to place them in a pan with butter and make them crispy on the outside. I like mine with mashed potatoes and onions on the inside of the pierogi’s. If you know how excited I was to find the Polish Deli in Pompano, then you can imagine my excitement when I came across this place on Unilocal.I saw that a fellow Wisconsin native was raving about this place, and that was enough to get me to check this place out. Also, the sausage was beyond compare. The flavoring of it was so unique and delicious. Even the casing they use is delicious. It makes me sad to think that I have been buying meats at Publix. This is the place to go if you are looking for top quality bratwurst and other types of sausages. This is the perfect stop for tailgate food. Oh! And the German potato salad is probably the best I’ve had. Creamy with little hints of pork, it was so good, and was a perfect combination with the brats(rhymes with cots and not cats, according to us Milwaukee natives). I grabbed a menu on my way out. I studied it, and I’m looking forward to trying other menu items. They also have breads, including pretzel rolls. Again, this is a good option for those of you interested in grilling out or tailgating.

Amazing find in South Florida. Everything«wurst». Lots of goodies you only find in Germany. Absolutely try the little meat sticks that look like beef jerky– they are awesome!

I just started going here and the sausages are amazing. I bought chorizo for paella and all of my guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the chorizo was. I’m glad stores like this exist down here.

Top notch meats and service. Haven’t dug deep into their selection but definitely plan on being here much more often. The kielbasa and house salami were amazing. I’m upset at myself for not getting more of the swiss meat stick thingies(sorry, forgot what theyre called), deefrigginlish. Not sure what swiss cheese he gave me but it was the best I’ve had. Pretzel roll was surprisingly good. Genuinely nice people, very helpful and patient. See u guys soon.

Can’t get better sausages and liverwurst ANYWHERE. If you love those foods, you’ll love this place. It’s worth the time to skip the supermarket sausages when you’re shopping and head to Emil’s… you’ll see it was definitely worth your time!!!

Outstanding quality! Store also has many specialty food items that are commonly sold in Europe & Germany, but difficicult to find in the USA. Prices are also not unreasonable.

I’ve been coming here since the pre-Yelp days, which is why I haven’t reviewed before. That being said, I can think of no better European meat market than Emil’s. I’ve followed them from their former location which was further south on Federal(and is now home to a lesser sausage shop) — and I continue to visit and stock up since I moved to Orlando. The quality and freshness of their food is amazing. It’s not just sausages — cold cuts, smoked meats, pâté, and a case full of frozen and prepared offerings like stuffed cabbage and pot pies. You’re standing in front of a case of mouth-watering sausages and you think«surely they all taste the same» — but that’s just it, the spices and meats are selected so no two types of sausage taste the same, but all sausages taste wonderful. I try to get in at least once every few months to stock up on my favorites. The weiners are amazing, you will never eat a «hot dog» again after having one of Emil’s, with their snappy casings. I make special trips for brats when I’m tailgating(being a Green Bay Packer fan, you have to have good quality brats!), and I just recently fell in love with a beet-cured smoked dill salmon that was a new item last time I visited. I’m planning a trip this weekend, so fingers crossed it was a hit and is still available! Aside from amazing food, you can’t find any friendlier store owners. Walter treats me like one of the family every time I come in, and he and his wife seem to know all the customers, or at least treat them like regulars. This isn’t one of those stuffy specialty shops that make you feel like an outsider if you don’t know what you’re doing. They’ll gladly help you choose products, explain ingredients, and I hear that they’ll even make you custom sausage if you provide your own special meat(gator sausage was what I heard whispered in the back once — now I need to go gator hunting!). I’m sure there’s a European market somewhere up here in Orlando, but I don’t care. I’ll keep driving 4 hours south to visit my favorite sausage shop because it’s not all about the food, it’s also about the atmosphere :)

Emil’s has the best sausages and cold cuts in South Florida. I used to live in Munich and Emil’s is as good or better than any shop there. Prices are reasonable for the quality of meat. Our favorites are the breakfast sausages, beer brats, ham, pot pies, turkey bologna(kids will not touch any other) and fresh baked breads/rolls. Keep up the great work.

Walter is the best. He has treated us like family for the last 5 years. Selection is superb. Love everything in the store. cheese sticks are my fav, not to mention the best breakfast sausages ever. Once you have these you could never buy breakfast sausages at a regular store. Like the unique products he brings to store and the occasional surprises like chicken pot pies, cheese cakes. Every time I have my favorites and usually add a new item to my list.

I love this place. I do not get up there as often as i would like. Their meat is unparalleled and their prices are fair. For all of my german food fixes I come here.

This place is so good. We live far away so every time we go we stock up. I am fantasizing about head cheese(I know — -sounds gross but you have to try it). I have to hurry up and eat all the frozen bratwurst and fleishkese I have in my freezer from them so I can come back for the head cheese!

A hidden gem. For all those that seek the delight of enjoying gourmet German sausages and cold cuts, this is your place! FYI — it is a market so don’t expect to eat there. The 1st thing I was struck with was the impressive hygiene of the place. Everything seemed immaculately spotless. The display of sausages were endless and they have interesting items there such as smoked duck breast, lamb myrgez and rabbit pâté! So far I have tried their lamb sausages, veal sausages and Kielbasa. I also picked up half a lb of sauerkraut and hot german mustard. Everything was absolutely delish! If you wanna throw a BBQ and impress your buddies, go pick up a few sausages and pop them on the grill!

Your beer brats are amazing! We love them when we have a family bar-b-que! When you go to anyone’s home… bring some of Emil’s beer brats… they are just the best ever. I can never buy any other of their wonderful sausages; we’re addicted to their brats with some of that spicy German mustard. So glad you guys are in Deerfield… whoo-hoo!

Yum-yum in my tum-tum. What Walter, his wife Jutta and their helper(great guy, forgot his name — sorry) produce on premises can hold a candle to sausages, patés and salumi(cold cuts) from any shop in Europe, where Walter learned his trade(and where I lived). I saw the back of the shop: cleaner than a Porsche-garage in Stuttgart, and no nasty or fake stuff in his products. And even though he sells Weisswurst to a friend of mine who insists on grilling it(which makes any Bavarian shudder, faint and then die), I love and buy those too. The new shop btw is much nicer than the old location, which is now selling some skunky stuff made by God-knows-who. Stay away from that and haul up to his new shop at Hillsboro and Federal, just north of West Marine. You’ll be happier than a Piggly.

Warning: this is the real thing. Don’t get this confused with the dirty nasty emils in pompano beach near mcnab and south federal hwy. That is a story for some other day. When you walk in to Walter and Uda’s super clean European store. You are greeted and feel free to speak in deutch like 50 percent of the patrons that flock here. I got to tour the kitchen and you can eat off the tile!!! If you want to impress everyone at the next tailgate. You need to come here which by the way is busy during football season. Luckily you can pre-order and have everthing G2G(good to go) for gameday. The brats, scnitzels, sauerbratten, jambon alos, westphalien hams are magnificent. My favs are the leberkase or veal loaf. No fat here just pure protein. For for the carb lover their’s fresh baked rollls like the multigrain scones and pretzel baked on the premises. Über gut!!! The pure Belgian chocalate brownie is sinful! Ach dulieber!!!
