Food was delicious! I recommend the tri-tip steak sandwich! Haven’t had a good one since I moved here from Cali. 10 years ago. Mac & cheese was good and the people are nice too.

The appetizers and Roo sandwiches at this casual joint are on POINT! I visited this restaurant with a few friends and got the MacaRoo sandwich and sweet potato fries The toasted bun perfectly holds the flavorful roasted pork, or chicken or steak(your choice) and its topped with homemade mac and cheese. We got medium garlic wings and the sauce was so good, we got extra and dipped everything in it! This would be a great place for alumni clubs, nfl fantasy leaguers, and groups. Great specials, phenomenal food and a friendly staff and owner. Our server Jenna went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make great suggestions! Check it out!

Visiting here from Ohio, we were looking for a bar to watch the football game. We lucked out when we found this place. Food is amazing! Club sandwich is like no other and the sweet potato fries are cut fresh. The atmosphere is fun and Jenna our waitress is attentive. I would highly recommend!

I went there to watch the Giants game 11÷8÷15. I sat there through half the quarter and the bartender never approached me. She was a large woman with a sweaty baseball hat. She was more interested in her phone and her friends. I asked the guy next to me if I was invisible and he said he was able to see me and also had some choice words for this bartender as well. Thank goodness Muddy Waters was right down the block.

Haven’t been here for several years… last time was for beer and wings when it was a ‘sports bar’…not the greatest of experiences… What a pleasant surprise tonight! Arrived here last evening at around 6:30PM for karaōke to see our good friend Ray the KJ… Tip a Roo turned out to be a great place that will bring us back every Sunday evening. Met the owner and made small talk. Very pleasant! Very nice! Menu was typical bar food… but good… wasn’t expecting anything else… and the beer ice-cold…had a porter recommended by the waitress… excellent! After a couple of hours of singing, laughing and picking on some very decent bar food we called it an evening! Will certainly will be returning! Great crowd!

Great place to listen to some great music. Dueling pianos, was fantastic. Larry and the other piano player jammed for 4 hours straight and had the place rocking. Josh got up and blasted out some great Allman Brothers hits! A great place to go, the only negative thing is their menu. They need to up grade the food selection, very limited, mostly fried food or Hamburgs.

Hubby and I live close to this restaurant/Bar and decided to give it a try, we absolutely loved it! Big open space, with dueling pianos, with great sing alongs! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great very nice, helpful, and had wonderful suggestions. e were told they are known the the steak sandwich, so that’s what we ordered. O MY it was delicious! Super tender steak the roll was soft and garlicy, loved it. The chicken wings also were great they bake them then flash fry them, loved them! We loved it so much we came back the following day to watch the Miami Canes game. We had a blast! The TV’s were great Sound was loud loved it for a football atmosphere. The bartender was so much fun, she made us all types of cocktail shots to try and had these awesome Jello shot glasses. Just made is feel conformable and had a great time. We chatted with the owners and got to know them, loved the vibes at this place and we will for sure be hanging with them soon! I didnt take any pictures, which i wish I did. sorry!

The burger was good, solid but just a normal burger, I was told there signature was a Tri tip sandwich which I wanted to eat but it was not able to get on there late night menu. Would go back for sure, maybe see what this dueling Larry is all about … Over all a solid clean place

Saturday night at Tip-A-Roo, the best time. Inexpensive decent food, great drinks and the piano guys are a lot of fun. Definitely worth a try.

Dear Crazy Larry, you have a gem named Brianna. If not for her, this may have been a one-star review. Okay, maybe two-star, as I did enjoy the atmosphere. ### As soon as my friend and I walked in, we thought we were in for a treat. We were warmly greeted by Brianna, our bartender/server. There were HDTV’s all over and the way it’s laid out allowed you to see TVs from every table. Although we did not drink any beer today, there was an impressive selection of local craft beers on tap. The menu was the biggest weakness. Originally this was a food truck.(They still have the food truck). They decided to open a restaurant based on the food truck. However, we expect food trucks to specialize in one type of food with limited menus. Not sports bars. Tip A Roo is all about the meat. The number of veggie/fish/chicken/turkey meals is sparse. The salad selection is pathetic. Their are no soups, pizza’s or flatbreads, club sandwiches, reuben sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, turkey burgers, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, etc. Probably the worst menu I have ever seen at a sports bar. Trying to avoid meat, and at Brianna’s suggestion, I had the shrimp tacos(a.k.a Ques-a-Roo). They were as boring as imaginable. You get three tacos. Each was a small portion of bland shrimp served in a flower taco shell over cold slaw [yes, I said cold] with a small slice of avocado. Perhaps there was some cilantro as a garnish. Not enough to taste. This was served with tortilla chips, a side of salsa and a side of homemade«house sauce» that would take a forensics lab to distinguish from plain mayonnaise. The salsa and mayonnaise were refrigerator cold and served in small plastic to-go type portion cups with lids. The salsa tasted like it was from a jar and not freshly made. Perhaps it was ‘Pace mild picante sauce’. I would have preferred something to make the tacos more interesting. Perhaps grilled or blackened shrimp. Perhaps salsa verde or chipotle chilie. Maybe even served with a tomatillo salsa. Unfortunately, these were not options. Instead, the shrimp tacos were served bland. My friend’s chicken taco’s were equally bland. Everything included on the chicken tacos was the same as the shrimp tacos except the chicken of course. The chicken was white meat, but a few skinny chips. Not strips of chicken as you would expect in chicken tacos. As with the shrimp, the chicken was bland as if it were baked with little or no seasoning. Getting back to Brianna, she indicated that Tip A Roo is famous for their meat marinade and that it also works on chicken and fish. Well either our chicken and shrimp were not marinaded, or the marinade didn’t work as described. Thankfully Brianna was informative, interesting, and enjoyable to speak with. Otherwise lunch today would have really sucked.

Send the piano players on a field trip to Pat O’Briens in New Orleans to see what true«Dueling Pianos» are all about, they are not…

Great place to be entertained with the classic dueling piano singalong. Great fun, left out 5 star rating because food quality needs improvement but then again it is more af a fun bar atmosphere !!!
