Great food but unpredictable customer service. They do not train their employees well. If you use the drive-through and are lucky enough to get the guy who has worked there for a while you’ll have great customer service. But if you don’t, you will wait and wait and wait while the guy keeps saying«wait one minute.» Pretty decent sitdown place but forget the drive-through.

Just ordered in drive thru the person taking the order with the spider web tattoo on his elbow was beyond un pleasant but I thought maybe the food will be worth it. NOPE, AWFULFOOD fries were old and cold mozzarella sticks were under cooked and the cheese was solid. Wrap had lettuce when I said there was an allergy. UNBELIEVABLE! never again gross

I had been wanting to check this place out for some time, and finally had the opportunity to meet a friend here with our nanny kids. All three kids loved their meals, and I honestly think this is probably some of the best«fast food» I’ve ever had. My tuna salad was delish, and you can’t go wrong with their cheese fries. Place was absolutely packed, fair pricing, and clean environment. I only wish they would have the option of milk with the kids meals!

Great location and plenty of parking. Food is chicago style hotdog, hamburgers fries. Beef, salads wraps, daily specials. The workers are always very nice . My favorite is the chicken wrap and home made chips it’s a very large order enough for 2 people

Placed a large order via fax as it says you can right on the website. I went to pick it up an hour later and not one of their 15 workers just standing around had checked their fax. I waited for them to make it while I was there. When I went to pay they told me they no longer accept American Express which is not noted ANYWHERE! Meanwhile the manager watched me have a heated discussion with an employee about the whole experience and never came by to apologize or offer to comp part of the bill. He told the employee to tell me that if I fax an order I need to call to confirm it, which is the exact reason I faxed it — to avoid calling. Awful experience and terrible management. I will gladly never visit again.

I now go out if way to go here rather than Portillo’s. The beef and sausage is better, larger portions and not near the ordering rigamarole.

Allows dogs on the outdoor patio. , known for their burgers and was very hospitable ‚ shakes could be a bit better but at least they have shakes. Also has a wide variety of food. and the cheddar chess is really good also has TVs for sport games Service was nice and helpful

It’s ok. Similar to Michael’s in Highland Park, with a big menu full of Italian beef, hot dogs, grilled cheese, etc. Not quite as good, but decent, and closer to home, so we’ll likely return.

This reminds me of a want to be Portillo’s. Big menu and wide variety of items. Prices are a little high for a fast food place but the food is pretty good. They do put a special sauce on their burgers which is kind of weird to me. Almost like a thousand island dressing sauce on the burger. So if you don’t like sauce on your burger, make sure to tell them no sauce.

This was a horrible dining experience! The guy at the register was rude and yelled at my dining companion. The chicken sandwich had a large bone in it. The food was fair at best.
I went back to give this place another go since my last visit was less than stellar. One of the first things I noticed was that the prices have gone up. Which is understandable, but they hadn’t updated the prices on the menu online. I love fried pickles so I decided to give them another go even though I complained about the greasiness last time. The portion was huge. They were not so greasy this time either. I didn’t like the sweet dipping sauce, so I asked for some ranch to go with them. I also ordered the Western burger. I got thousand island dressed substituted for the BBQ sauce because I’m weird and thinks it’s gross on a burger. The burger was good, but nothing to write home about. I guess I would go back for a quick bite, but it’s nothing I will get too excited about.

Unfortunately, due to the strong presence of Portillos in the area, Teddyfabz will commonly be compared to Portillos instead of against similar non-chain fast-casual American fare. Teddyfabz does not have the same delicious char flavor you find in a Portillos burger or the perfect mix of spice and juice in a Portillos Italian Beef, but it does do fairly well in its own version of American favorites as well. Normally, this would be a 3.5 star restaurant, however given the lack of truly better options in the area this gets bumped to 4 stars. My favorite order to get here is the Gyros(beats out Greek Feast by a little because of the way the meat is slightly crispy) with an order of fried pickles. The megalo beef(9 inches) at 7.69 with a large fries is also a nice way get a good snack for 2 people under $ 10.

Have you ever seen that restaurant that you are so curious about and have passed by a million times wondering… just wondering what it’s like? Tonight was one of those nights where we had to find out if TeddyFabz was fab! You know what? It was A-OK. We were in a burger kind of mood tonight, and we decided to check this place out. I had no idea what to expect, especially because when we pulled up there were only two other occupied tables. We almost didn’t go in, because I just didn’t know if that was a good sign or not. Anyhoo, we walked in and the signage immediately directed us to the counter to order. Aha, okay, so not a full service restaurant. Totally fine with us. We had to ask the guy with the headphones on behind the counter a couple of questions, and that was tricky getting his attention because I think he was also on drive thru duty. Not gonna’ lie, but I think maybe they should have one guy on counter and one guy on window. It just makes you feel more welcome. So we ordered our a la carte burgers, and a side of onion rings(mom’s special recipe for $ 3.99) and cheese fries that were supposed to have Merkt’s cheddar but came with the fake cheese stuff instead. We know the difference people: 1) We order it at Michael’s in Highland Park every single time, and 2) My son ordered the burger with Merkt’s. Totally miss on that, but not the end of the world. Burgers were cooked to order, which I liked. I prefer a medium well to a medium. I ordered the western burger with bacon and bbq sauce. The sauce was great! The burger was a decent size, and not that I needed more, but I just expected it to be a thicker patty. Boys were happy with their cheeseburgers, and my hubby got the garden burger. It was fine. Side of onion rings weren’t anything special. In fact we were a little bummed that mom’s recipe didn’t seem so special for the small amount we got for $ 3.99. They were A-OK. I forgot to mention, that after you order you get a number like Corner Bakery and they bring the food to your table. That was a nice plus. However, they forgot to bring silverware, so we did have to ask for it. The cool thing that almost bumped my review up to a 4-star rating was the fact that the owner was back in the kitchen and even brought our food out. Super nice guy, and the food came out fast! I think they should call the restaurant Teddy Fast! Would have given this place 4 stars if the value factor would have been there. In my opinion burgers should always come with fries. Small fountain drinks were $ 1.99 each. Our burgers averaged $ 6.50 each, and then we had to order a side of fries and onion rings on top of it. Not a place we’d come back to every day. Overall, A-OK.

Teddy’s is in my regular rotation for work lunches. They are close, relatively cheap, quick, and consistent with the quality of food. They make great salads, gyros, burgers, you name it. I usually end up with a full belly for about $ 10. The food is prepared quickly and brought straight to your table. If you are in the area and wish to grab a quick lunch, I would recommend stopping by Teddy Fabz.

I/ve been here twice now – each time late afternoon. My first visit, I was really impressed with the cut above fast food menu items. Had a burger and it was stellar. The second time I ordered a cheeseburger special – decent burger; not so great fries. Each time had a milkshake which was good. The setup is efficient(they bring the ordered food quickly to the table) and the dining area is relaxed and comfortable(flatscreen t.v.s with sports on when I was there). Good place to relax and get a fairly priced burger to eat.

First thought. This place is going to be a douche hangout. With a name like TeddyFabz. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the staff was great. I really liked that they had family participating in the busing of tables. I would visit this place again next time I am in town.

Went in tonight for burgers with a WeDeal voucher and for the second time since I bought the voucher WeDeal did not deliver the ‘punch card’ to the store. I wish I could write a review for the shoddy WeDeal service but that’s another story. The burgers were excellent once again. I was there about two weeks ago trying to use my voucher. The owner and the guys taking my order made it work but if I could give WeDeal a review I would rate them zero stars. The sandwiches are the best in the area and the dining area is very nice with the fire place and nice tables and chairs. A big plus there for me is they don’t run the ‘free fries’ scam there that a lot of other dog and burger joints run in the area. Cookers are you listening??? If you’re in the area pass by Cookers and Josh’s and give this place a try. The beef was good too!
