I needed emergency cufflinks since I had showed up to a wedding party without them nearby. I frantically searched at the nearest mall, which was where I found Mister B (the men’s part of the store). I didn’t want to spend a lot, since it was for a one-time use, but I was definitely frantic also. John Hennessy, who was the salesperson there, went above and beyond the call of duty. It’s a shame that I don’t live nearby, as they certainly earned my loyalty that day!

Went to the Grand Opening in the Flower Hill promenade in Via de la Valle today. Very chic opening, with phenomenal selection of pieces, what a nice boutique to have in this select mall. I like the division but cohesion between the male/female areas and there were some models presenting the clothes too. I was very impressed with the male clothing, especially anything from Maceoo brand. Women clothes were divine, fantastic quality of the pieces presented, lots of European brands, classy, chic and modern. The event was catered and they offered to customers a nice selection of wine from Rancho Santa Fe wineries. Live flamenco guitar music too!
Lets face it, it is not a cheap store, everything is pricey and most probably that dress you like so much has a $ 1,000 tag. But if you cannot afford it, you can always go and take a peek of great style for free!
