This is a great place to have a feed and a a nice beer or wine and then do a bit of shopping in the usual we couldn’t resist the burger & sweet potato wife had a black bean burger and I stuck with the Del Mar burger. I asked our server Kevin to select my flight of craft beers for me. Hard to beat getting any 4 x 4oz beers from their whole selection… anything you desire for only 8 bucks. Some young South American guy was playing his guitar and singing a few songs… great atmosphere here, delicious food, top of the range craft beers and terrific value for money. We are never disappointed with the service either.

The rotating draft list is pretty impressive for it being inside of grocery store. Most of the time there is ample room to sit, unless it’s game day. But there is also a lot of seating on the patio outside with heaters for the chillier nights. There’s a special of some sort every day of the week and they also do brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with bottomless mimosas. The food is tasty too! So don’t underestimate them

This is a great little bar tucked inside whole foods. The daily deals are totally worth it($ 10 for a burger and beer every Wednesday! among others). It can get busy but reliably great service week to week.

A co-worker recommended this place for me to go during my break. A nice little bar located inside the whole foods with indoor and patio seating. They have a decent craft beer selection on tap; the menu has a range that touches everything from sushi to tacos to burgers(because it’s in the grocery store they are able to make such a wide variety). I had the crispy chicken sandwich and a grapefruit sculpin(which is overrated in my opinion. The beer, not the sandwich). They have daily specials which looked bomb too. Prices are good. The people working there are super friendly and the vibe is just right. Next time I’m on a double I’ll deff be coming back for more.

Best service and great prices! Beer selection is amazing and wine options too. Marina was behind the bar and took great care of us! She was very knowledgable and attentive!

So I reserve 5 stars for the perfect service and we received that today. We drove back down to San Diego from a day in Orange County and we just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat after doing a brief bit of shopping at Whole Foods. It was a Thursday so they were advertising their $ 10 burger and any brew special. After looking at the beer menu, I encouraged my pregnant wife to grab a quick bite to eat before we drove home…23 craft brews on tap? Sold… While it took about an hour to get a burger(we shared the special), our server, Kyle, made sure that we had a great experience and did whatever could to make sure that our experience was enjoyable, going above any beyond any service expectations. Kudos to Kyle and for the food itself, quite tasty.

Leave it to me, to end up at a Tavern, The Trifecta Tavern, when I gave up beer(alcohol) for Lent this year. But I went and I didn’t succumb to my craving — because that’s just how I roll. On a serious note, I really did want to try some of their pours because they had a handful that I never had, and never heard of before. It was impressive for me because this eatery is located in Whole Foods. You wouldn’t think of finding a nice selection of craft beer at Whole Foods. At least I didn’t. The food was better than bar food, but not gourmet either. Like, I wouldn’t take a date there unless she was an alcoholic or someone who screws up boiling water — because she wouldn’t notice that the chicken wings had flavor thanks to the sauce, not because of a rub or marinade. The street tacos, though small, were fully loaded. And the Carne Asada Nachos were decent — just that the chips were of a healthy variety; missing salt. The service though — is why I like Trifecta. If this aging brain of mine is recalling her name right, it was Nikki. She was sweet and friendly and knew her beer. I’m pretty sure, she’s had more different beer than I have — but I’m sure I have her in sheer quantity. Kidding aside, she was able to really talk beer to the point that she probably makes her own. I like bartenders who know their trade. Trifecta is an open area so shoppers can walk by and see how much of a lush you are, drinking in the middle of the day. Or as it was in my case, along with my friends — just wanting a bite before we made our way to The Marvel Experience, at the Fairgrounds.

I absolutely love being able to do my grocery shopping, then head over to Trifecta Tavern located in the market, for some dinner and a refreshing beer. Service there is always superb and their changing beer selection is always quite tasty. There’s also a handful of T. V’s to watch your favorite sports game! Score!

Beer Stop 106 — Trifecta Tavern is a nice spot — they have pretty good size TV’s to watch a game and a low key atmosphere. Even though the tap list isn’t large, Trifecta has a well represented tap list– IPA, DIPA, Belgian, etc. You can always find something to drink here. Even though the tap list rotates often, there is no way to check the list online, which is a small drawback in my opinion. The food has a tendency to be a hit or miss. Even though the food/beer specials are really cheap, I haven’t had much luck with the food lately. Hence, the reason for 3 vs 4 star. Regardless of the drawbacks, We live in a very exciting time when one can drink good beer at Whole Foods

This is the first negative review I’ve posted on Unilocal, but I’ve given this place three chances now … Three strikes and you’re out in my book, Trifecta. If there was a negative star review that’s what this would be. I came here today(9⁄21) to try to be prod

Came in after the kids Easter Egg«hunt» in the flower hill mall… they were famished so i guess i had to feed them. we got a seat for 6 of us … the kids both had flatbread pizzas(pepperoni)…and they loved it… i had the shrimp tacos this time… yum! they were cooked so perfectly! i ate one and took the other home(i was in a hurry)… the prices are a tad steep… but it’s a good option to quickly get some food and head home… we were already there. food is pretty good…

Wow. A bar inside a grocery store. I haven’t seen anything this novel since«Suds and Duds» back in the 80’s. The food is decent and the beer selection is even better. The happy hour is a little short(2 Hours), although in my opinion it is offset by the daily food specials. I went on a Wednesday for the Burger & a Brew($ 10). Most places you can’t get a burger or a brew for ten bucks. If you are into people watching this is the place for you. Talk to Andrea when you get there and she will set you up. No review can come close to explain the atmosphere. You need to experience it.
